The hotel room is very nice, clean and comfortable. Very close to the airport. Breakfast was very tasty.
The staff could be a little more pleasant
The hotel is very close to the airport, with shuttle service (15e for 2). Very good breakfast, nice staff and very good rooms well equipped, spacy and looking good. No hesitation we will come back there if needed.
Location and cleanliness
Good location for fast transfer to the airport. Good personal. Clean room.
Personal speak English satisfactory. Restoran nice, but small menu and you should be ready that not all food from will be available.
Location to airport, wonderful staff and breakfast!
Really i did not understand the rate 8,2/10 for this hotel. Ok you can stay for one night but not more
The hotel is located well for both the airport and travel into Venice Very clean, which means a lot from me as I'm very fussy Staff were extremely helpful and friendly Breakfast was of a good standard and plenty of choice
The only downside was the room was very cold, we did stay last weekend which was a particually cold weekend, we used every blanket and still couldn't stay warm The plus sides to this hotel certainly overwelmed this negative though We would certainly go back
Reception very helpful and easy nearby bus connection with Venice, reception will explain, excellent breakfast and comfortable room,
Only downside; a little way from airport, walkable about 15/20 mins, but I'd researched this anyway, and I believe hotel does provide a shuttle although I didn't use it.
EvEry negative I had read about this hotel I failed to experience. Great value for money
Staff, place, location and more
The Hotel Venice Resort is a 20min (if you're pulling a suitcase) walk from Marco Polo Airport. It is a 3min walk to the bus stop for Bus #5 to Venice that only costs 1.30 euro. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast was just wonderful and the staff was very helpful.
The hotel is a 10 minute drive to the airport. Although small, the room was spotless, the wifi worked great and there was amenities in the bathroom. It you need a cheap, clean place that is close to the airport, this will work for you.
As others have mentioned, the staff here is terrible. Miserable, grumpy, no sense of service and really act bothered if you ask a question of them. If you are a large person, you will not be able to use the shower. I'm of normal height and I had to go sideways into the shower. There was no way to turn around and clean yourself...it was like a joke in a funny movie. Others have commented that the staff was more than willing to prepare a small breakfast if you were going to leave early - never happened and I asked both days when I stayed there. I would NOT recommend this place if you have to stay more than one night as I believe you are better off at the Best Western or the Anthony down the road. The only way to control the heat in your room is to open the windows. The thermostat does not work very well and I was dying from how hot it was in the room. When I turned off the heat and opened the window, I was finally able to get to a comfortable temperature. Finally, you don't have many places to get something to eat. They have a place across the road and then down the road when you get to the main intersection. My advice is to buy something ahead of time and eat in your small room. Don't expect any service or help from the staff as you won't get it. If you are know that in advance, this place will work for you. These people should NOT be in the hospitality industry.
the location the architecture ..
anything at all.
it is good if you stay there due to the reason of airport, very close to that. A nice room and bed and bathroom. Very good breakfast
general it is good. we walk there just for fun. however it is not so FUN
I arrived downstairs 10 minutes before the kitchen was to close at 10pm. I met Monica who was cleaning up after I'm sure a long day too. Having 3 children, two being asleep, I needed to eat in our room, and asked if that was possible. I could see it wasn't the best time to ask and Monica explained to me that the kitchen was closed. It was obvious I needed to eat. Not only did we receive two plates of wonderful pasta, some fresh ham & cheese carried up to the room, but also a wonderful slice of fresh cake. All put together single handedly at the end of a long day. Thanks for the wonderful service. Our best compliments to you.
Staff is friendly location is good English speaking staff: ideal place for non-italian speakers
sound in the room can be easy heard from the adjacent room !
The Stuff was very kind and helpfull. The location is really good and conection to Venice with bus is great. I think it is great value for money that you pay. Would recommend.
I was missing a restorant with menu offer. And also you can get only breakfast and dinner.
too small room
We were planning to drive in to the airport and leave our car for a few days. the staff offered to let us leave the car at the hotel, drop us off and pick us up again when we got back. They even got up extra early to make breakfast-- and were cheerful and kind about it! :) The room was a bit small but smelled wonderful and was very cute.
Comfortable, stylish hotel very near the Venice airport. Well-furnished room with helpful staff and delicious breakfast buffet.
Everything was fine.
The staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were quite which was nice. Location was good.
The rooms were small the bathrooms even worst, one of the rooms I saw had the toilet inside the shower space, awful. Wifi cost 4 euros for 6 hours.
Perfect location for early start due to early flight from VCE airport.
It was embarrasing to find out that I can hear everything that is going at the room next to mine Probably, they could hear me too...
It was comfortable enough and close to the airport, though I think calling it a 4 star hotel is a stretch.
I booked here with the higher price thinking the internet would function well given the cost of the hotel. But the internet hardly worked at all, and when it did finally connect was extremely slow. I know Italy has it's problems, but for the higher price they are charging, they should invest in a better internet speed for their guests. Breakfast was sufficient, but very limited, as compared to other Italian breakfasts, but the lady serving the breakfast was not very friendly.
Location and breakfast was good.
Inefficient heating system, it couldn't be adjusted above 23 celcius and room was so cold as ambient temperature was zero degree. Lift was not in operation and I have to carry my bag myself to the upper floor.
