Hotel Venice Resort  

It is was convenient for us to stay overnight before our cruise from Venice next day. You can catch the Number 5 bus to the first stop, then you have a 2 or 300 metre walk to the hotel. Number 5 bus will take you to Venice next morning. We really enjoyed our stay; it was friendly, nice rooms and clean. The breakfast was very good.

Nothing to dislike!

Very close to the airport, which was important as we arrived late and didn't fancy trying to cope with the vaporetto (water bus) and finding our hotel on Murano at night. but don't try to walk it - as we considered doing. A taxi is expensive, but the tourist info people will tell you which bus to get, and it stops fairly close. There is actually a hotel shuttle bus which brought us back int he morning for very little more than the bus, and I shoud think you could call them and use that. The room was large and comfortable, and they have a restaurant to save going out after a tiring flight. all in all, a good budget priced airport hotel.

Not a great location for Venice itself, but if you need an airport hotel, who cares?

It is nice comfortable place with very friendly staff. It is walking distance from Marco Polo Airport. Nice clean environment. Worth to visit if you are looking to relax or cycling and would like to check Venice without staying in the night there.

Lovely accomodation, HUGE rooms, good breakfast, WiFi and minutes from the airport, but you would not know it. Catch the number 5 bus into Venice only 2 Euro 60c return. Good restaurants nearby and if you don't want to move food available on the site.

Very close to the airport. Ideal for overnight stay before taking cruise next day. Several restaurants nearby. Nice breakfast buffet.

The rooms were very well maintained and the service was good too. The breakfast is pretty elaborate and enjoyable. Though not located in the main city, easy access to buses makes it a star.

The front office staff was a bit rude to answer questions. The restaurant does not serve lunch, so we had to buy our own and the staff did not want us to have the lunch at the hotel restaurant...well if they don't serve lunch, they at least accommodate brining in take aways.

Modern facilities. Close to Marco Polo airport. Taxi costs Euro 15 or hotel shuttle costs Euro 8 each. Evening meal available.

Ground floor rooms near reception can be noisy.

A plenty of things: - instead of giving the 3 letter internet code on telephone, the front desk guy called me to reception instead of giving at check in. - the furniture had so much dust. - the breakfast spread was poor. Unbelievable that they cant afford a humble toaster. - they publicize 3 acres of greens, but its all unkempt.

Ideal location for airport, nice friendly staff, best hamburger ever, although I was very drunk!

Taxis super expensive, 20 euro from airport to hotel only 1 mile away!

Very comfortable and quiet. We used as a pre-flight hotel after a cruise. Small town was short walk and had simple but good restaurants

Closeness to airport.

Flimsy shower, First floor room had metal shutters over windows. Fresh air required that both be open--a security problem.

The hotel and the hotel grounds were beautiful. It has a rustic feel, and is quite cozy. It is very close to the Marco Polo airport.

The shuttle service to the airport was very expensive (8 Euro/per person), and the airport is literally within walking distance. Of course, we didn't realize how close the airport was and we had our luggage. But 8 Euros for about 1 km is very expensive.

Nice property next to the Marco Polo Airport In Venice Italy. Wi-Fi has small charge but good connection from the lobby. Convenient parking of auto, and has excellent airport shuttle service. Good complimentary breakfast.

The beds, the room and bathroom we good to average. The staff were friendly. They accomodated us with an early continental breakfast so that we could make our flight.

No amenities. The air conditioning had not been turned on for the season( or at least that was what we were told) and they charged for their shuttle to the airport. I didn't find any mention of that in they writeup and for the amount they charged, I thought that was out of line.

Close to bus stop for Venice and airport. Nice restaurant across the road. Tea making in room.

No available computers in public areas, and no free wi-fi. Eur 10 charge for airport shuttle bus.

Requested transport from airport, None was there when I arrived, Spent too much time waiting and looking for them, finally took taxi. If I had been told ahead of time I would have been prepared to get a taxi immediately.

Close to airport. Allowed early entry to room.

Charged for: internet 10E, shuttle 16E, safe 10E. Brown substance on blanket that looked like feces. Refusal to send a croissant with us for 5 A.M. departure even though breakfast was included. Once a nice resort, now very run down and on busy road.

Bed room was very good, spacious and comfortable.

Airport shuttle was rather expensive for the distance.

The only good thing about this place is the proximity to Venice Marco Polo airport.

I have never before met a ruder receptionist. It may even have been the manager/owner. Not only did he make us redo the beds from double to twin beds without any apology. He also forced his guests to sleep in rooms in temperatures exceeding 25 celcius. He claimed it was to soon to switch from heating to air conditioning. This was May 10th i Italy. I live in Oslo, Norway and I have switched off my own heating about a month ago.

Good position near Marco Polo airport.

At 7,15am the breakfast was still not ready (only tee and bred) so we went without it.

Location to the airport was good, only 1.5km. Room was spacious and clean with an outside patio. Breakfast was nice, good selection and friendly waitresses.

Check in was busy and had to wait ages to get our room key. We ordered cappuccinos while we waited and they forgot about them. The shower in the room flooded the bathroom as the curtain was not waterproof! The website states that there is not restaurant for evening meals, so we went out to z local restaurant, only to find when we returned for an evening drink that there was food being served! Shuttle to the airport was expensive especially when you could walk there in 20 mins which is what we did. Man on reception was not very friendly.
