Venice Hotel Villa Dori  

The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The bartender at the restaurant is very gracious and eager to help. There's sufficient parking space and the receptionists speak English.

One of the receptionists had an attitude when I called to ask for directions before midnight and she made some comments she thought I wouldn't understand. The location of the hotel should be clearer. It's actually situated where Via Cesare Piva intersects Via Colombara. In terms of noise, there is virtually no street noise at all, but there was a child in one of the rooms crying every morning, for hours on end. The room was a bit dusty, but the huge extensively decorated mirror, especially. We found a bed bug on the sheet our last morning there. It was then I understood why all sorts of red spots broke out on my husband's body while we were in Italy. Be aware!

my impression in the beginning when i booked the hotel ,is that it is a handy one,where you can take the bus in front of the hotel as described by the management and free shuttle bus to the san marco city center,but then,i was not happy.the location alone is out of no where.too far from the bus stop,around 15 mins walk..it was spilling rain when we left the hotel on our last day...we are soaked with rain going to bus station..the receptionist was not there at all times..our room key was left on the front desk when we arrived the hotel after our day out-10:00pm-i think it is not safe.anyone can grab the key and went to your room..too dark on the street to walk,without street light.i don't recommend the hotel site

Nothing.... It's cold, no service, and location, the price was fear, but rooms are small and not comfortable, no soap, no quality for towers...

Total dissatisfaction. The room did not work heating, bathroom was musty, dingy room, wall coverings were dirty and the ceiling was moldy. Reluctance of staff to solve anything, would not give a discount.

Air cons in the rooms, comfertable beds, free parking. Leaving the place was also a good thing.

The staff was exremely inhospitable, almost rude. They charge the highest rate for internet use than all other cities we've been in around italy. Very difficult to find the place, make sure to hae the most updated gps.

Don't go there. They will extra charge you for everything. We pay extra for internet and breakfast. The personal was very inhospitable and impolite. They even did not answer to us how to reach their hotel and we had to walk by foot because we had lost. We had very unpleasant surprises there. It was written: ''a large buffet breakfast is served each morning. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the hotel." But we has extra charge for 50 eur at the end for breakfast. We had paid 7 eur for WiFi and after that we understood that we can use it only in the reception not in our room. Nearby there is a piggy farm and it smells very bad so we did not open our window. Our vacation was spoiled. We even don't have a fridge.

Kostengünstiges, kleines Hotel. Für Venedig-Besuch gut geeignet. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut o.k.. Reichliches Frühstücksbufett. Zum Besuch Venedigs sollte man den Bus-Chattel des Hotels in Anspruch nehmen. Bei der Nutzung öffentl. Verkehrsmittel müssen die Fahrscheine vorab besorgt werden. Kein Verkauf in den Bussen od. Straßenbahnen!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo,posizione dell'hotel buona che si compensa con l'ottima organizzazione del servizio navetta che collega l'hotel con Piazzale Roma; lo staff si è rivelato gentile e disponibile per ogni informazione e necessità,belle le stanze,pulite e curate e molto bella la struttura complessiva con un arredamento tipico,una meravigliosa cantina e ristorante/pub molto bello, accompagnati da ottimi piatti e con personale molto simpatico e disponibile. Lo consiglio a tutti in quanto è adatto per ogni fascia d'età e clientela.

Niente di particolare-bisogna avere l'auto altrimenti si é troppa isolati
