While it did not bother me, since all I want from a room is a bed, place to take a shower, a place put my clothes and a desk to sit at (ALL OF WHICH THE ROOM HAD NICELY!), the room may seem small to some folks (especially Americans like me) used to more room or for a particularly large person. However, with a reasonably open mind, you will feel fine.
The room is simply efficent.
The location is quiet and away from the bustle of central Venice. You get to see a lot on the way there, which is fun and about 40 minutes from the train station (the time flies - sooo worth it!).
The faclities are solidly elegant and spotlessly clean. The room had plenty of power outlets, a wonderful comforter and pleasant view.
Adrianna is a charming delight.
Adrian (male) is a fun character, who received high praise from an older woman who stays there a lot I was talking to at dinner. Both A's are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and speak English - Adrian is fluent.
The food at dinner - OMG! OUTSTANDING!
Maid service was excellent.
