Score from 6 reviews Exceptional
The girls who were responsible for the hotel were very very kind and helpful, they prepared a very nice breackfast and the last day that we had to leave the hotel very early in the morning they made a package with our breakfast to take it with us! Our room was very clear and in a very good location.. And Verona is beautiful as almost every city in Italy! :)
Very close to the arena, up several flights of steps (no lift) in a beautiful old building with modern interior. Room had small balcony, comfy beds with clean white sheets and warm fluffy blankets. Lovely bathroom, lots of hot water with good pressure, great shower. Breakfast ok with cereal, yoghurt, toast, croissants, wafers, muffins etc. served till 10am. Lovely shower gel and good hair-dryer provided.
Only minor points - the tv had lots of channels but no English speaking ones; there was no fridge - ok in winter as you can put bottles between the shutters and the french windows to keep them cool but it might be a problem in summer. Also we couldn't get the aircon to work and the room was quite warm, but not a problem in winter as you could just open the french windows to cool off.
Location. Stuff speaks English - big deal for Verona, by the way! They really don`t charge your card before arrival.
No evelator (4th floor of the ancient building). Lots of different doors - you`re given 4 keys to get inside!
It is clean and has nice rooms. It has helpful friendly people running it. In short, I agree with the many other positive reviews it has. I'm glad we stayed there. It helped to be close to the Arena etc. Verona is lovely.
Room was good sized and very Ikea modern. Lots of steps to get to this B&B but they did help with the luggage. Breakfast was pretty basic.
The staff really was helpful. Good breakfast. The location near the arena was perfect. All the other City sites are within walking distance.
Be prepared for lots of steps, but even they are elegant and you will get used to them.
Location. Quiet rooms once shutters closed. Helpful staff.
Very hospitable owners who made our staying comfortable. Location is perfect.
Convient to walk anywhere; high style design that is functional; very helpful staff; freedom to come and go as we wished (we were given our own set of keys to the building); excellent bed; sweet little balcony with 2 chairs.
Dim lighting in the bathroom (impossible for putting on make-up); crazy flat Italian pillows (but maybe most of their guests are Italian, and that's what they prefer).
Breakfast is good room decor is nice Clean and tidy
Friendly staff & very good place to stay
No lift, must carry all suitcase up to the hotel which is the top floor
LOVELY WELCOME WHEN WE ARRIVED GREAT BREAKFAST AND LOVELY ROOMS WILL DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN
STAIRS WERE A BIT OF A CHALLENGE BUT THE YOUNG LADY WHO WELCOMED US WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH OUR LUGGAGE
Beautiful old apartment building with lovely modern rooms and breakfast area. Loved the old balcony. Great to be welcomed with an expresso.
Location was brilliant and the 'apartment' was modern and tasteful, within an old building
As with most hotels and rentals I found pillows uncomfortable. I like soft feather & they provide hypo-allergenic man-made material, and only one each.
Friendly staff, very clean and tidy room and also shared areas, very well located, secure building. Definitely recommend it.
Welcoming 4 room inn (the owner is not living on the premises), modern and comfortable facilities, friendly hostesses, decent breakfast, a stone's throw from the arena in a quiet street, cute (and handy) balcony, aircon, wifi. What else? :)
-Another mirror, in the bedroom, would be great (maybe behind the door or glued to the inside of the wardrobe panel) -please note that there is no lift
Everything was perfect, no exceptions! The location - near Arena di Verona. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Everything was clean and new. Will definitely stay in this hotel once again.
Everything was excellent.
Excellent position! Great little balcony!
Verona B&B needs a better sign or marker at the front door for the first-time users.
The fantastic array of breakfast foods supplied in our apartment, plus there was additional fresh sweet or savory breakfast delivered each morning. Wi-Fi worked well.
Bed was a little too firm for us, but that's a personal preference, I realise it's impossible to please everyone on that score. It wouldn't deter us from staying again.
Excellent location, just around the corner from the main city piazza & the arena. Quiet, secure place. Friendly, English speaking staff.
Not easy to find, the apartment is on the second floor, no lift available.
Staff were friendly and helpful, location was fantastic, and the building that the b&b is located is beautifully Italian!
A beautiful B and B in a fantastic location. The staff were fabulous and were happy to help if they could. I would definitely stay here again. The room and bathroom were first class.
The only drawback was having to walk up three flights of stairs - the staff did help with bags which was great.
Everything, really! It was clean, comfortable, breakfast was good, staff were pleasant and polite with good English, and we were close enough to the old part of the city to easily walk it.
Was surprised when we got there at the 3 flights of stairs we had to ascend with our bags! There was no mention of that anywhere, and the pictures led me to believe it was on a ground floor. We survived that, but someone who had difficulty with stairs might wish to go elsewhere.
Nice clean room with a balcony. Good central location, breakfast was decent.
There is absolutely no sign lettingyou know where this B&B is. When we finally found it and I mentioned that to the woman working there she just shrugged and looked at me like she didn't care at all.
