Hotel Versailles  

Esta bien ubicado. El aseo es impecable.

El dueño del hotel atiende la recepción y grita hasta altas horas de la noche y no se puede descansar. La entrada al edificio donde esta ubicado el hotel esta muy mal presentada y genera una mala primera impresión.

La comodidad de la habitación, la limpieza, todo funcionaba perfectamente (ducha, lavabo, secador, tv), el personal amable, nos proporcionó valiosa informacíón para movernos por la ciudad y los buses exactos y paradas para cada lugar donde íbamos, así como remendaciones de donde comer bien y asequible. Queda un poco lejos del centro (a pie), pero tiene a 50 m. dos paradas de bus y a 100 otra para otra línea. La tranquilidad del barrio (con restaurantes, tiendas, supermercados y mercado de fruta/verdura) Las habitaciones son igual que las fotos, limpieza garantizada y disponibilidad del personal para solventar cualquier pregunta.

Al llegar, de noche, el edificio se ve un poco viejo y al entrar en la portería se ve dejado, pero todo cambia cuando subes al 1er. piso que es donde se halla el hotel.

Me gusto la cama, el aire acondicionado, el baño el piso de alfombra tambien. Y la amabilidad de la gente en la recepcion.

No me gusto mucho el acensor es muy viejo y pequeño y la ubicacion aunque queda cerca de varios cafes, restaurantes y supermercados la parada de metro esta lejos y los sitios turisticos tambien, cuando digo lejos me refiero para ir caminando. Aunque el autobus si pasa cerca.

The reception is not open 24h which leads to crazy people ringing the bell repeatedly in the middle of the night.

Hotel Versailles is a small gem in Rome. It is very good value for money and especially in comparison to the extremely expensive prices of the historical center of Rome. It is very clean and the staff at the reception always willing to help. The furniture in the room was relatively new and the room was cleaned daily. It was not very difficult to find, but a map was necessary to have in hand. When you are inside the building take the elevator at the left. The reception is at the first floor. About 20 minutes on foot from Rome Termini which was easy as we did not have heavy luggage.

The only drawback of the hotel could be its location and especially for those who do not enjoy walking. We did not encounter a problem and spent our days walking. Otherwise there is a number of buses to the centre- just ask at the reception!

It was in a very pleasant and safe-feeling area, close to the old city walls and the Villa Borghese. There were some excellent restaurants just around the corner where we ate on 2 nights. Hotel manager very pleasant and informative. Good city view from our window. Very clean and spacious room with safe, mini-fridge, dressing table etc. Twenty minute walk (with cases) from Rome Terminii - do-able.

Shower screen opening was so small one had to squeeze in sideways and shower head poor. Toilet seat fastenings were broken and also the entire towel rail had come off the wall and had been left under the sink! Nowhere to place anything! Toiletries sparse (although just about adequate). No breakfast offered but there are several good cafes close by.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location - away from the really touristy areas but easy to access them (7min walk to the nearest metro, 20 min walk to spanish steps, 50min walk to Vatican, also lots of buses but we didn't use them). Wifi in room.

Aircon didn't work well so it got quiet hot at night (this was in mid October). Shower curtain blew against you in the shower because of the fan. No blind or curtain over the window.

I loved that the hotel was clean and tidy staff very helpful and friendly I would recommend this hotel to friends.

It was a bit of a walk into the centre.

From the moment we arrived to the morning of our departure, the hotel staff, Roberto the boss( il capo), Georgio (his brother) and povero Jimmy (his little dog), Dorina and superstar Ingrid were both welcoming and totally professional. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is situated at 92 Corso D'Italia, can be a bit difficult to find but well worth the effort. If you phone the hotel in advance they will organise a taxi to pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel. Our room and facilities were more than comfortable, cleaned daily with fresh sheets, towels and soap and not once during our stay were we disturbed early for the cleaning staff to clean the room. Within a radius of 100m of the hotel you will find good restaraunts, good cafe's, a supermarket for essentials, pizzerias, taxi ranks and bus stops. In essence, a good Italian hotel, manned and organised by good and honest Italian people. Have a look at this little place, its worthwhile. We will return to Rome next year and we will be staying at Hotel Versailles, without a doubt. Grazie a tutti.

The hotel is on the first floor of a restorated building, there is an elevator. The people at the front desk were great, always willing to help and gave great tips. The area was good and there are loads of public transportation to go everywhere in town.

If you are planning on using the WiFi check that it works when you arrive, they let you know this in their in room information though. Also the rate doesn't include breakfast.

Me and my sister stayed here for her birthday; and I believe she was very impressed. The hotel staff was very friendly; helped us with the local trasport and advised us on where to go. Our room was immaculate; we left very happy. Very good value for money! Will definately return again.

Good location in a pleasant neighborhood. Spacious room with generous sized bed for a single and large bathroom.

Very friendly, kind and helpful (English speaking) hotel staff. Wi-Fi in the room all the time for free - so you can easly watch evenings films online. Fridge in the room - so you can even prepare your own food or chill a wine. Very very clean room, cleaned every day so well + every day a new towel, shampoo, soap (which is not very common in such small hotels). My room was with the nice kind of balcony (ona the roof). Around the hotel there is good local market (fruits, vegetables + caffe with the best espresso and sandwiches for 1,6 euro for the set!), also very near is the supermarket where you can buy local products (very friendly prices). A lot of buses around to everywhere. I really reccomend this hotel. Very nice and sweet!

Gostei da localização, facilitava a chegada em todos os pontos turísticos sem gastar muito de taxi. Também bem servido de ônibus para quem deseja utilizar.

De pagar uma diária a mais, pois antecipei em um dia minha viagem, a justificativa que eu tinha reservado até o dia 01, e sai dia 31.

главный плюс - соответствие цены и качества. приятное месторасположения отеля. площадь фиума - симпатичное место, средоточие магазинчиков, кафе, банков. вблизи имеется большой супермаркет. до метро Castro Pretorio 5 минут пешком. до виллы боргезе - 7 минут прогулочным шагом. до района коппеде - 7-10 минут пешком. до центра рима от 20 минут пешком. рядом много автобусов, на которых можно доехать до основных достопримечательностей. персонал отеля очень доброжелательный, чем может - всегда поможет.

для тех, кто хочет жить непосредственно в центре рима, отель версаль не самый лучший вариант. в номере в межсезонье очень холодно! обязательно имейте это ввиду. в этом году в риме холодная весна, температура ночью с 20 по 30 марта была 5-8, днём 12-15 и часто шли дожди. здание не прогревалось, в номере ночью - как в склепе:-))) спали под 3-мя одеялами. кондиционер работает исключительно как вентилятор. короче, экономят итальянцы на электроэнергии...в номерах вроде бы убирались, меняли через день бельё и полотенца. но на всех столах и тумбочках всегда лежал слой пыли.
