Lovely staff despite the lack of English - really, really helpful and pleasant. Room was comfortable and space enough for 4 of us (had a small connecting room for the children). Outside Terrace pleasant in the evening. Good breakfast. Location was great for catching trams to main Rome sites, but surrounding area is a fairly grotty part of town...still there are some cool restaurants and cafes to be found here.

Located near trains 3 and 19, that brings you to the center and Vatican Very important- Next to the hotel night club-bar. Loud music up to 5 am! Everyday!!! Impossible to sleep! Thought our windows was not on the street and not on the club! Plus: everything in the hotel was extreamly small-room, shower, tables, no elevator, ets. Breakfast - coffe and bread with jam.

Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. There is no direct public transport from Rome termini. It is difficult to find hotel if your first trip to Rome. We use taxi first and pay 1€ per suitcase and 7€ for transport. You can use tram for transportation but it is available form 5:30 to 24:00. Hotel is far from center of rome. Breakfast was poor. Hotel is very small so rooms are small. We changed our room becase it has very very small window. Our second room has a balcony shared with next door but hasn't got any window.

Good standard compared to other hotels in Italy for the same price. A/c and breakfast available. Free wi-fi, although it didn't work in the room. The staff didn't speak any English, which was quite surprising... And it is located in an absolutely appalling area - far from everything, and very dirty. We were afraid to leave the hotel after dark!!!

Well there were two bus stations really next to the hotel. So it took us about 30 minutes to go to city center (piazza del popolo) or twenty minutes to colosseum or 40 minutes to the Vatican or trastevere. (those two lines went the opposite way). The hotel was pretty clean. It was also atmospheric and had a renaissance interior design. The exterior was not quite something. It also had a small terrace where someone could drink a bottle of wine (either order from the hotel as room service or buy from a store). There was a small mini market 50m away which stayed open till 2 am which is very useful for those who do not want to sleep at 11 pm. We did not eat breakfast and I do not know about it. The best was that it had private bathroom at a price that others didn't. If it was closer to the city center at that price (about 75 euros per night for a double room-all taxes included) we would say it was the best choice. Now that it's not we can say that it was a pretty convenient choice that really worth the try.

The room was spacious and well decorated. I was going for a cheap option so didn't really bother looking at the facilities in advance, but having a fridge and hair dryer in the room turned out to be really useful. The en suite bathroom was also spacious, and the shower powerful and hot. Many Italian hotels have bad quality pastries at breakfast compared to what you'd get at a café, but here they were particularly nice. The wifi signal was not very strong in my room, and I couldn't pick it up at all on my iPhone. That said, it was fine for both my laptop and phone in the breakfast room the floor below.
