Everything was fine except the free wifi. It was working just on the first floor. The breakfast was excellent. The room with the balcony was cute and comfortable. The area where the hotel is situated looks for first like a dangerous, but it is safe. Try to takethe bus nr. 3 to the colosso, and to the portughese market....and also go to Trastevere! Porta Maggiore is very close with tram 19 and bus 3,change there the bus105 and go directly to the Termini.Take Bus H to Trastevere,or the bus 64 to ponte angelo... Perfect trip. From Termini easy one hour trip Ostria with metro, and you can enjoy the sandy seeside... Altogether we spent 6days there, next time we will goong back...:-) Everything was fine except the free wifi. The network was slow and not allways reachable

Well there were two bus stations really next to the hotel. So it took us about 30 minutes to go to city center (piazza del popolo) or twenty minutes to colosseum or 40 minutes to the Vatican or trastevere. (those two lines went the opposite way). The hotel was pretty clean. It was also atmospheric and had a renaissance interior design. The exterior was not quite something. It also had a small terrace where someone could drink a bottle of wine (either order from the hotel as room service or buy from a store). There was a small mini market 50m away which stayed open till 2 am which is very useful for those who do not want to sleep at 11 pm. We did not eat breakfast and I do not know about it. The best was that it had private bathroom at a price that others didn't. If it was closer to the city center at that price (about 75 euros per night for a double room-all taxes included) we would say it was the best choice. Now that it's not we can say that it was a pretty convenient choice that really worth the try.

The room was spacious and well decorated. I was going for a cheap option so didn't really bother looking at the facilities in advance, but having a fridge and hair dryer in the room turned out to be really useful. The en suite bathroom was also spacious, and the shower powerful and hot. Many Italian hotels have bad quality pastries at breakfast compared to what you'd get at a café, but here they were particularly nice. The wifi signal was not very strong in my room, and I couldn't pick it up at all on my iPhone. That said, it was fine for both my laptop and phone in the breakfast room the floor below.

Nothing,I will not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. The service is poor and the lady who is the receptionist or owner doesn't speak a single word of english and rude. If you are in this kind of bussiness you should try to learn a little bid of english because not all your customer are italian. The experienced we get let us to believe that next time we will not to book any hotel with no names unless recommended The location of this hotel( I don't consider this a hotel, a boarding house because it get less than ten rooms) is bad, noisy and dark to walk during the night. What they put in the website is totally false. For senior citizen its hard to carry your luggage to the second or third floor because it doesn't have elevator at all and you think this lady will help you, all she was interested is your money. The shower room doesn't have any light and the drainage system is very poor. The wall is painted poorly and cracked on the wall.

Venligt hotelpersonale.

“Best thing about it was the location and price. Walking distance to everything including the Vatican, Coliseum and obviously the Pantheon plus all the Squares, shopping and eating areas. We only took the bus to the Borghese and really could've walked there too since we walked home from there!@ No elevator... But that's to be expected in Europe. Great breakfast with fabulous cafe au lait and 1 block from a famous cafe where the owner decorates each cappucino differently!!” Linda, San Francisco |
