La Terrazza Di Montepulciano is a comfortable hotel situated along the main street of Montepulciano, very close to the beautiful Piazza Grande, in the heart of the historic center.

Loved the big windows, lots of space, cleanliness, helpful manager. She gave us good advice about where to eat and park, nice sense of humor.
Can't think of anything. Just wish we were there for a week instead of just a couple of nights.
Giuseppe and Louisa were very friendly and accommodating.
The bed was too hard
Room's dimension Tips
Very comfortable 2 bedroom. Bathroom was very modern. Luisa and Guiseppe were wonderful! Very helpful; arranged taxis for us and gave us some great eating recommendations. There is even daily cleaning!
I would like another mirror or two in the bedroom or living room areas.
In the middle of the town.
not much daylight as the rooms are in the middle of walls with small windows. But this is very common with old buildings like that.
Charming place to stay while in Montepulciano. Renovated to modern standards (european). Luisa is very helpful. Travel light!!! This is a walled city and difficult to travel with large suitcases! Have to park the the car outside of the city, then a short walk to B&B.
Hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Location is good. Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Breakfast is obtained from a café across the street from which there is a stunning view of Tuscany.
The hotel is located half way up a steep hill. There is no parking at the hotel, you park at the bottom of the hill ( where again there is no assigned parking and compete for spots with hundreds of tourists) and walk up the equivalent of over 100 steps. Once at the hotel, you have another 20-40 steps to climb to get to your room. You pay the hosts 6 euros pp for a breakfast coupon that you take to a café across the street in exchange for a continental breakfast.
Great location, nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff.
The mattress was perhaps past it's best and had a sore back in the morning but I am used to a tempur so notice a poor one more than most.
The B&B was on a charming street in Montepulciano, not too far to walk from the car park (up a fair few stairs, but do-able), very close to a couple of friendly bars and restaurants. The owner gave us a lovely friendly welcome, and recommended several restaurants in the town. We went to one of them (the nearest, and he even reserved a table for us!) and were not disappointed. Our room was fantastic - a huge attic room with great sloping roofs, lovely restored beams, and attic windows looking up at the old buildings of the town. We did not close the blinds (the buildings were far enough away that we felt private), and in the morning I opened my eyes to lovely blue skies and the buildings and roofs of Montepulciano. The B&B had been renovated to a very high standard, and everything was top quality and very modern, while still maintaining its traditional charm. A lovely spot.
Amazing location and close to available parking, our hosts were wonderful and gave us great advice for exploring the town and enjoying the local cuisine, the apartment we stayed in was modern and well furnished- probably one of my best stays in Italy! Highly recommended!!
big bed room living room, kitchen, clean bath room, all are very nice! beautiful sunshine came to the bed room, very lovely(i did not close the curtains). location was also good. Thank you so much.
only one thing, one wine glass was not washed.
Nice appartment, fully furnished. Location is great, in the middle of Montepulciano.
The parking is difficult in the city. Consider using parking #7 (free) and walk up to the rooms (15-20 mins). Also, if you arrive between 12 and 3 PM, make sure you tell them one day ahead of time otherwise they won't be there to open up the door. Having a cell phone is close to a must.
Amazing location, beautiful room, very helpful owners
the location and price is good
there is no elevator,i have to climb to my room, that's too hard for a visitor in the mountain town. no one clean my room during my stay.
The position was great even if the parking was difficult Guiseppi gave us his spot in the street above the hotel but to get in and out was a long trip around the citys one way system.. The double room was more livable than the "suite" with kitchen that we were offered. The spa bath in the room was welcome. There was no breakfast but the beautiful Art Nouveau cafe opposite was lovely. The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable.
It was a bit odd to have no one at the desk before 8.30am or after 7.00pm. The parking was a nightmare but that's Montepulciano and hardly the hotels fault.. The lounge area was locked off when owners were not there, in the evening, just when you needed it.
The owners are very kind and helpful. İt is a perfect Boutique Hotel in Montepulciano. It is in the city centre. İt is clean and elegant place. If I will go Montepulciano again; I will definitely stay in Vicolo dell'Oste Hotel.
right in the heart of Montepulciano. Luisa and Giuseppe were warm caring hosts. Rooms were clean. I highly recommend staying there if you want to stay in the village.
The bed was very hard, so our sleeps were not very good.
The owners were amazing hosts!! They made recommendations for restaurants, places to visit, and helped answer any of our questions. The room we had was enormous, with a bedroom, bathroom, and a living/dining room with kitchenette. Perfect location - in the heart of the town. The B&B works with a nearby cafe for breakfast, where the food was good and the views spectacular!
Breakfast was not included on booking.com though for the same price we paid, if we would've booked through the B&B's own website, breakfast would've been included. Had to pay an additional 6 euros per person per day for breakfast.
Era un appartamento di meraviglia.
Everything: great stuff, wonderfull and very clean appartement, great position, great atmosphere...Must to come back !!! Simply the best !! Thank you Vincolo dell 'Oste :)
Extremely spacious apartment, complete with kitchen. Very good location surrounded by restaurants. Giuseppe is a very friendly and knowledgeable host.
The lighting in the bathroom was little bit too dim.
I highly recommend this hotel. good location and very comfortable rooms. Thanks to Liusa and Giuseppe!
Great location with friendly staff
Giuseppe and Luisa were the absolute BEST. As a host and hostess, they really set the bar high. We had a general idea of what we wanted to do and see around Montepulciano, but Luisa advised us in a slightly different direction (since we have small children) and we are very happy we listened. She has a great understanding of the area and truly catered to our individual needs. We didn't feel like she was just telling us the same thing she tells everyone who passes through the town. Very attentive hosts. As for the amenities, the beds were comfortable, the showers worked great (even when used at the same time), the kitchen was well-equipped, the wifi worked perfectly, and Luisa was even on Viber so that we didn't have any extra charges if we needed to contact her. The location was perfectly situated in the middle of town. It could not have been better. Even though Montepulciano is a small village, it is worth it to stay in the town at least one night because you really can enjoy it after the tourists leave. If you choose to stay overnight in Montepulciano, this is the perfect place!
You must have a normal-sized vehicle to navigate in Montepulciano. An American van would be extremely difficult to drive here. This isn't the B&B's fault, so I don't think it's a true negative; just something to be aware of.
Everything was perfect!
