Location: Near to the train station, shopping area. 1. Very old style decoration. 2. The sofa leather was broken 3. The bed is worse than my 15 years old bed at the storage. It hurts you back. 4. You can smell people smoking outside your room. 5. Very noizy during the night since there is a bar down stairs. 6. No place to park near the hotel unless you pay 20 Euro per night.

I chose the hotel for the location (mainly). My sister was getting married in the area and I needed to be close to my parents' home in Bari where she would be getting dressed. Checkout was at 10am but the staff let us stay until 12 which was very helpful. The rooms were not up to decent standards. Doors were broken, carpets had old stains, matresses were uncomfortable and not to a hotel standard. Overall the entire hotel (lobby, breakfast room, common areas, main entrance etc) was tired and in huge need of refurbishment. The price (85 euros) did not match expectations at all. Furthermore windows should be better isolating as there is a lot of noise at night time, which I could hear even with earplugs on.

We booked for 1 night but ended up staying for 3 due to the comfort & cleanliness of the room, the location and the value for money (comparable to other places in Bari). We had a great stay in Bari!!

A simple hotel with a long time (feels like 20-25 years) non-renovated appartments.

The number one advantage are the staff who were friendly, polite and very helpful with any questions. Our room was small but modern (it was one of the higher-priced rooms, we upgraded after reading reviews online, I guess the older rooms are a very different experience) with a great shower, comfortable beds, toiletries and a large balcony. Breakfast is very good and the dining area and wine bar are bright, modern and welcoming. The location is great, an easy walk from the train and just around the corner from the shopping of Via Sperano and a few minutes further on to get to Piazza Ferrarese and Bari Vecchia. Grazie mille e "alla prossima" a tutti al Hotel Victor. There are significant works ongoing on some floors, it might be a good idea to cover this area with a screen for the duration of the works so guests don't see it.

Good location, very closed to city centre. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic, but enough and tasty. Room was allways clean. My room has a 70's design, old bathroom.

The inclusive breakfast and the location - that is it! The location is good if you need access to the Bari central train and bus terminals. The port is easily accessed via the bus if needed. The hotel is partly renovated, some rooms are very nice while others are in desperate need of a revamp. We unfortunately booked a room that needed a revamp and regretted it... The price paid didn't at all meet the mark in value. The light switches and air conditioning were difficult to use as there were so many switches with no markings. The check out time is at 10am much earlier than other European hotels. The carpet was quite dirty and being bright blue, dust was easily identified everywhere.

Even though the colours and decor date from the 70's, it's good value for money, near to the station, big bathroom with hairdryer, big bed, buffet breakfast ok.

The breakfast was not bad, but I expected more choice on the tables in a 4 star Hotel E.G. there are no fresh fried things, only the tee is hot. The location is quite good, near the shopping area and the ancient town. Firstly, we were in the cheaper room, probably the superior is much better but - the air conditioning was only noisy and does not make any coldness. - the room looks like in the 80'S. - the wifi is very slow - the staff speak english but cannot smile - all in all there are hostel rooms in a real 3 star hotel, maybe, next time I would rather choose a hostel for my money, and have breakfast in a cafe.

We asked for a double bed and were given a twin. It was really hot when we arrived and the hotel room was even hotter. We couldnt get the air con to work and went to reception who informed us that the whole floor was out of order. We were offered a complimentary drink but no option to change the room. We were given a small room with dingy dirty balcony and there was a flower box on the balcony with about 30 ciggarette butts in it. It was not an acceptable level of cleanliness. We went out for the evening and upon returning to the room we found the hotel was even hotter than when we arrived. We had to sleep with the balcony door open which made it impossible to sleep with the excessive street noise. We also got bitten to within an inch of our lives from mosquitos. We had an awful sleepless night. Upon confrontation of the receptionist when we were checking out, we were offered a meager 10 euro discount. Not acceptable. Do not stay here unless the rest of Bari has burnt down.

This is a very modern hotel. It is very clean and very centrally located. A bonus is free Internet connection. Breakfast. There are only cold meats available and the sort, nothing hot except the coffee. When anything runs out, it takes a long time to be replenished. Crockery is removed only after the guest has gone - even if there are ten plates on the table!
