A modern hotel in a good location for the old town adequate private parking
A great place to stay, wonderful staff, good pool, good breakfast, good location for seeing Otranto... our stay was made super nice due to the front desk and service staff...they helped us a lot with restaurants and maps and things to do even in the off season.
Eggs were cold but that's not an italian item usually.
The room was clean and spacious, with a pretty hard bed. Staff very friendly and helpful, we even received a beautiful book as a gift when we left! The spa is beautiful and clean, we were really surprised by this! Several nice restaurants and shops on walking distance from the hotel.
The breakfast was ok, although we didn't like the juices from a machine: fresh orange juice would fit better in this hotel!
The location is very convenient to walk into the main seaside and restaurant areas in the old town.A nice swimming pool area and a children's play area in the garden. Secure parking. Reception staff were friendly but often in the back room, although that didn't matter to us. The cakes for breakfast were very varied, plentiful and good quality. Prosecco and fresh fruit in our room when we arrived was a very nice touch. Our stay was four nights and we had hoped for a better general standard.
It felt like it was the end of the season and that breakfast staff were not very friendly and slow in replenishing food or cutlery etc. Fresh fruit was not ripe and poor quality. The dinner menu was unappealing, so we never sampled it. The carpets in the corridors need replacing or steamcleaning.
Great location; very clean; wonderful accommodating staff; good size bedroom; beds bit firm but didn't bother us; large shower; Internet was very intermittent
Breakfast could have had a better selection. Fewer pastries and more selection of fruit and cereals would have been more preferable. Waiter at breakfast was very helpful.
Good location near old town, very good parking, nice pool
The price 320 euro/night was too high compared to what was offered. For that amount you expect something special, which this hotel does not have.
Staff couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast excellent choice and very tasteful. Evening meal amazing value for 5 courses of very high standard. Pool perfect for both swimming and relaxing spa. Bathroom high class. Even airer on balcony for swimsuit!
Wifi a little intermittent!
A wonderful hotel, close to The beautiful beach in Otranto. The Bed was the best I've slept in since arriving in Europe. The breakfast selection was large and delicious. The pool was an added bonus.
Really nice hotel on a very good location in wonderful Otranto, kind and always willing to help staff (should speak better English), very clean and spacey rooms! Recommended!
Payable Spa, and expensive too...
My wife and I stayed for 10 nights in early July in what we now regard this as a lovely place to wind down and relax in very close to the town before it becomes too busy. Deborah on reception spoke english and looked after us and the hotel is fabulous, the room was great and it has a great pool area (as long as it doesnt get too busy). Otranto was everything and more as a recommendation from an Italian colleague and it only took an hour to drive from Brindisi with a satnav. We think we stayed at the best hotel in Otranto ,300 yards from the town centre. The hotel/room was very quiet at night as our room overlooked the pool. The free shuttle to Alimini beach was great and restaurants were all great. The hotel has a spa which is very reasonable. Best of all no loud British lager louts anywhere to be seen just italian families enjoying an evening out. Totally recommend Otranto and this hotel to destress in early July or early/mid September. We will be going back and exploring more of Puglia for another "Montalbano" dip in the sea at 8am and a gelato at 10pm.
Nothing to really dislike at all. Sky TV would have been a bonus for the world cup as the only uk tv is BBC world news but we were not there to watch tv. Breakfast could have more hot variety and sometimes the service at breakfast was a bit erratic waiting for the first morning coffee and a big jug of coffee on tap for refills. The home made cakes made up for it however.
Wasn't aware the swimming would be out of action as it's out of season
