The Victoria is a modern and elegant hotel with a relaxing wellness centre. It is located in a 19th-century building in the centre of Trieste, a 10-minute walk from Piazza dell’Unità d’Italia. All rooms are spacious and come with elegant parquet floor and an LCD TV with international channels. Breakfast is a varied buffet including sweet and savoury food. Hotel Victoria combines traditional architecture with luxurious furnishings and modern facilities, including Wi-Fi throughout. The wellness centre is just for hotel guests and must be reserved. Room was very nice. The bathroom was excellent, spacious and with jacuzzi(Superior room)The staff at the reception was helpful, friendly and fast.Food is decent but the choice was poor. Soundproof was bad, we could hear the people talking at the room next to us. The location was also not really close to the city center-1 km away. There is no restaurant for breakfast but some improvised room next to the bar. The staff at the breakfast not so friendly. Wellness costs 15Eur/person!

Friendly staff, busy loud street, but the windows keep out all the noise. The junior suite could be a bit larger. Breakfast is very good, but a rather small choice - but as it's Italy it's ok.

Amazing rooms. They claimed I booked two rooms and made me pay for two rooms when I only needed one. Two couples booked thru me and they still forced me to pay for the other room. ridiculous.

10 mins walk from city center, all employees very polite and ready to provide support. Nice comfortable room, very comfortable bathroom and new furniture. Very good breakfast corner. Not really.

When we arrived we had been upgraded to a junior suite. The room had a four poster bed and open fire. Dressing gowns and slippers were supplied. You could even request a loan of an ipad from reception if you liked. Staff could not have been more helpful with directions, booking taxis for us etc. Good selection for breakfast with bacon, cheese, fruit and cakes.

The staff was extremely helpful and gave us very good restaurant suggestions. the hotel is modern and our room was very clean and quite large by European standards and the bathroom was well appointed The buffet breakfast was also quite good.

The hotel itself was well located to walk about town. It was on the main street with shops and restaurants and just off the street that went all the way down by the sea. There was a dreamy garden as well that was just minutes away. The staff (when they could be found!) were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. It was a great stay! When we arrived at the hotel, it took at least 10 minutes before anybody showed up at the front desk! That was very strange and kind of made me doubt how the whole stay would be. As described in the positive points, they did manage to make up for that first impression. The other important thing to note is the parking situation is not ideal. It may require a great deal of driving around very narrow streets! Finally, the pillows! Oddly enough, in such a nice place the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable.

a classic design hotel but full of all mod cons , the pre bookable spa is a great way to wind down after a busy day. There was a slight issue with one of our rooms during the night but the night staff swapped the room without question the breakfast area is a little small and if you time your arrive wrong you can be waiting for spaces or for the tables to be reset up
