The room was clean and certainly adequate. Bathroom had been updated. The breakfast was very adequate offering the same items as at every hotel we stayed at in Italy and the breakfast room was attractive. I had believed this hotel would have a view of the gardens and that it fronted on them. Instead, there was a portion of the ancient wall and apartments in front of the hotel blocking any possible view. Also, I didn't feel it was conveniently located for what we wanted to see. The furnishings in the room were dated. |

Good room, friendly people. Restaurant has a small but decent selection of wine at good prices Our dish of the day was poor (very tired fish indeed), but the waiter offered a free dessert as compensation (which was good). |
