In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.

Great welcome at reception. Breakfast until 10.30 lovely when your on holiday. Brillant Historic location opposite Borgese park.
The Reception staff were so helpful and nothing seemed to be a problem (although the waiters at breakfast could have been more pleasant, a smile would have been nice). The location is superb, very handy to the Via Veneto and so close to the Villa Borghese.
Wifi is poor in the bedrooms but good in Reception.
The staff was so friendly and helpful.
What was not to like? Only that we couldn't stay longer than we did.
We had a beautiful room with balcony overlooking the Borghese Gardens - it was perfect. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable - just what you need after a day exploring Rome. We were especially delighted to find that the roof top terrace was open and Nic's Bar served amazing cappuccino and salad. The view from the terrace was to die for. A note to travellers - the terrace closes around the beginning or middle of October weather depending so be sure to plan your stay when you can take advantage of it. The hotel is a block from the Via Veneto, 5 minutes to the Galleria Borghese and all the activities available in the gardens which caters to families in a big way. We found that we could walk to all the sights we were interested in visiting. There are great restaurants near the hotel and the hotel breakfast was super.
We did not get our wake up call at 3 a.m. but fortunately we were awake and the taxi ride to the airport made up for it. We had a terrific driver who raced through the empty streets of Rome a la James Bond. Everything else was perfect.
I stayed at the Hotel Victoria for a week as my temporary quarters when moving out of my apartment in Rome after having living in Rome for 5 years. I liked the traditional Italian feel of the hotel, the decor, the employees, the breakfast, the roof top restaurant and bar.
Wifi, breakfast, air conditioning, neighborhood. Quiet.
great breakfast, good location, quiet
some staff were rude, facilities in hotel poor,
This hotel has lovely public rooms with nicely upholstered chairs and sofas and the breakfast room is great with lots of pictures on the walls. I had a comfortable double bed all to myself and a partial view across to Borghese Park and a beautifully appointed bathroom. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a taxi rank very close to the hotel so that is useful if you don't want to walk far.
Although the roof top terrace was beautiful with lots of plants I thought the food was overpriced for the average standard of cooking.
Good location and brakfast
Very noisy in the night.
No air conditioning or very little.
I liked being able to walk to restaurants. The counter staff were very helpful and friendly
Our room was very plain -it looked like an "extra" room with mis-matched furnishings. Everything was "functional" but not necessarily comfortable. I never felt like I could relax. The part I would most recommend changing is that our beds were made-up seperately and slid together. Married couples expect to sleep in the same bed.
We love the location and the breakfast food. Very clean and nice size rooms and very quiet.
We were told that we would have early check-in and we didn't . The gentleman had a smart remark when we told him about early check-in. He was the only one that wasn't nice.
Love the location. I have stayed at this hotel several times while visiting Rome. It is within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants.
We received a confirmation that our request for early check-in was approved, but the hotel didn't seem to have that information and only one room was available when we arrived at the hotel after an all-night flight. Hotel management didn't seem to care that we had written proof of the early check-in approval.
We thought the roof top bar was so good the next evening we booked the restaurant. Out room had a huge bathroom and great view over the City walls Breakfast was OK, but avoid the standard Americano coffee.
The roof top restaurant food wasn't as good as its location.
This is. Being very petty but the waiters on the roof terrace ( the men) were not very nice
Rooftop restaurant Helpful staff Great bathrooms
Variable wifi Expensive breakfast
Spacey bath room
No coffee facility in the room
Location Helpful staff Rooftop bar and restaurant Excellent and spacious bathrooms
The hotel was well located with the other major hotels. The hotel offered a parking service as I was concerned about driving and parking in Rome.
On reception at busy times there were too few staff for the size of hotel. I had booked the parking service through Booking.com at 35 euros per night but on checkout the valet tried to charge me again. The hotel insisted that the room rate was higher than I had booked and the parking was to be paid directly to the garage. I had to talk to the assistant manager and show my booking confirmation from Booking.com to resolve the issue, she then agreed that a receptionist did not know of this arrangement and the colleague that took the booking had not written it down. The sofa beds had very thin mattresses and my older daughter 14 could feel the wires through it. The air conditioning was noisy and decoration in the bathroomnwas very tired. The radiator in the bathroom was badly painted in orange to go with the pink tiles!
The staff was friendly and helpful
No coffee/tea maker facility in the room for a 4* hotel. Wi-Fi was on and off..
We had a lovely corner room with a huge bathroom. Very comfortable for 3 of us. The staff was courteous. The breakfast was decent but not elaborate. The location was fantastic for sightseeing.
The cooling was not enough. Had to open the windows at night. I wish they would change the breakfast menu every day. We got exactly the same breakfast on both days. Not much for children.
I loved this hotel. It was beautiful and I highly recommend taking advantage of the rooftop! The staff was not only friendly but highly entertaining as well. Great senses of humor and they created a wonderful atmosphere. The neighborhood was great and felt very safe. There were fantastic restaurants nearby.
I only gave this location a "good" rating because I didn't stay long enough to figure out the metro or buses from here. We had a car and a navigational system so we were fine. I'm not sure about staying here without a car.
I especially liked the very nice staff which were so helpful and nice!! and the roof-terrace was just marvellous!! i can easily recommend this hotel for my best friend and anyone else.
Great location near the via Veneto and opposite the Villa Borghese parkland. Great Views from the Rooftop terrace/bar, experinced concierge made excellent recommendations for tours etc.
Bed was 2 twins, when I requested a queen, hard mattress & pillows.
