Staff was always ready to help. , Rooms were clean (every day new towels, every day beds made for us). Notebook in our room was useful for us (information about railway connections, sights). Breakfast was sufficient,, in a typical italian small cafe. Perfect location, near subway and station Termini.

    The guy was friendly.

The room was so small we had to leave the next day. The building was scary and the location terrible. There were people drinking in the streets, watching you all around and we felt in danger during the one night we stayed there. They made us pay for two nights even though we only stayed one.

I liked the fact that the hotel was in an excellent location, just across Termini Station (train and metro) and the bus stop from where you can take the bus to the airport. There are several restaurants ans little shops around, a supermarket as well.

The room for 5 people is too small. If you have a lot of luggage, it;s going to be a problem because there isn't enough storing space. We were only four so we used one of the beds to put our suitcases on! An old room that could do with renovation. The bathroom is small but decent. It's OK if all you need is a place to sleep.

we loved the old Asian lady!! she was really helpful and kind. she offered us umbrellas for our stay... she was always smiling.... the room was SO SMALL. we were in 5 and it was very very tight for all of us. but then again, if you are in rome and if you are looking for a budget place, just to crash, you dont expect a big hotel room. the location was great too, we could walk to the coloseum and the roman forum...breakfast was really simple, just a capuccino and a cornetto (croissant or other pastries)... one minute from the termino train station... we liked it! the room was really warm too...

it was too small but for the price we paid it was mroe than OK

Staff was very nice, willing to meet our requirements, rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast was typical italian and very good. Great thing about accomodation was its locality, near to every kind of transport.

Maybe just rooms were quite small but at the other side we spent there just nights, so it was ok.

The hotel was in a great location for the metro. Termini train station is right across the street and you will have access to the metro and the hop on hop off buses. Good restaurants in the area and a grocery store if you need any last minute amenities. I was traveling with 3 adults and 3 kids under the age of 9.

The bathroom in the room that we were in had a bad smell.

Good internet, dvd player and wide-screen tv.

Very cramped single room with obstruction above the bed. Lousy breakfast consisting of just a croissant and a drink.

The only positive part of my experience with Viennese Due was that it was only a 2 minute walk to the train station.

The original room we were given only had 2 twins pushed together to create a Queen sized bed. We were perplexed by the fact that we had ordered a triple and how in fact they would fit another bed it the room. We decided to stay the night to "test" and see if we could handle the living space, but it ended up being very uncomfortable. So the following day we attempted to request another room, but the receptionist (a women who we believed slept there) told us to wait for the man. (Her English was barely passable). I digress, once it was morning, we requested a new room which, they graciously agreed. The room was bigger, but our triple room again started as a queen sized bed (that did not split apart) and another bed placed into the room. Additionally, based on pictures provided through booking.com's website we determined that we had been "upgraded" to a double room. My main problem is for the fact of false advertising and stretched truths. Through booking.com under the "services offered" section, Viennese Due stated 24 hour reception, airport shuttle, laundry, and a few more appealing services which prompted our intrigue into staying there. Once there we realized that 24 hour reception meant the possibility of someone being in a room next to the front desk. Overnight, as stated prior the women we believe sleeps there, so again, based off a technicality it is indeed 24 hours. Most of the time it appears as if no one is in the building. The front door is normally locked, no one is at the desk and the room next to the desk is closed. (Regardless if they are there or not, not really providing an appearance of 24hrs). As for the other services "offered" laundry was not a hotel facility, it was around the corner (more an inconvenience than a service), which to me seemed like more truth stretching and misleading. The shuttle service was also run through the train station around the corner and not connected in any way with the...

We had booked a family room for 5 people (all adults) and were apparently given the "largest room" which was 20 sq m and had bunk beds. The information provided in booking.com was incomplete and inconsistent. When we explained to the receptionist, we were rudely told to not bother them. At 11 PM, we asked for a couple of blankets (there were none in the room) and the receptionist asked us to either sleep without a blanket in the cold or get the hell out. I was shocked at the kind of customer service & rudeness. The beds were horrible with bed bugs and dirty linen, the AC did not work, the WiFi did not work. After a sleepless night, we wanted to check out the next morning and were told to pay the full amount for 3 days. On calling booking.com, they managed to reduce to 2 days payment. All of them, including the owner were so rude and even used Italian expletives at us. Finally, we just threw the additional money and left the place. We also lodged a police complaint, but don't think anything will happen! Please be careful when booking in this hotel. Would also request booking.com to please verify the details before having such hotels in the website.
