We were three couples from Australia. We thought the location was great, it was close to the train station which is a bonus as there are lots of steps on the Cinque Terre. Typically small Italian bathrooms. One of the bathrooms had quite a bit of mold and a safe in another did not work. In one room the mattress was not so good. But would still recommend it as a good place to stay in Monterosso which is easily accessible to the rest of Cinque Terre. Two excellent restaurants that we would recommend are Trattoria da Oscar and Ristorante da Ely. The walk from Monterosso to Vernazza took an hour and a half and the walk from Vernazza to Coniglia took another hour and half in the rain. You will love the Cinque Terre.

Good spacious hotel with open grounds and not on busy thoroughfare and only 150 metres from beach promenade. Good breakfast and courteous staff No seating in bedroom so would have liked aguest area with comfortable seating inside or out to relax, read or have a drink.

Marco the afternoon/evening desk clerk was extremely helpful with all of our questions, last minute dinner reservations and inhelping me get my lost bag from the airport. Also the breakfast buffet was nice and they had the best Capaccino's ever!

Quiet, sober, decent breakfast (even the rolls were fresh), friendly staff. Airconditioning in the room very noisy and hardly cooling. Parking facility rather intimidating for a big saloon.

It was clean and felt like a refuge to us after a busy day exploring the area. It was quiet. Staff was helpful.breakfast buffett was nice. It was very difficult to find. We had a GPS but we could not figure out how to get into the Villa. The street numbering there did not make sense. Also, it was diffuicult to find -even though we had the street name and number. We would not have been able to contact the office if these nice folks had not come along and showed us how to enter.

The hotel was in a great location, the room was larger than what we'd been used to in previous European hotels, and the staff was very helpful. Only a few blocks from the beach and bus service to the airport. Had air conditioning! I'd stay there again. WiFi didn't work in the room so we had to make Skype calls from the public lobby. The third bed was a cot with an uncomfortable mattress for my poor niece.

Spacious clean room and bed very comfortable. Nice terrace in front with good view. Staff very pleasant and great breakfasts. Although just 2 of us we booked a bigger room for our comfort and were very pleased. Accessibility by car is good since there is parking up the hill by the hotel. We did not have a car. From the train station it is not straight up the hill. It is down the main street and then a right up the hill and once you locate the signs then up a long steep driveway. Pulling bags was a little challenge. There is a short cut however through the back of a cafe that we discovered that made the walk up easier.
