Very friendly personal ready to help with everything what you need Good breakfeast Have a parking
Peaceful location. Lovely old house, with an outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing deck in the garden. Very friendly and kind host. Spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. Free parking. Excellent breakfast with wonderful fresh croissants and cappuccino coffee! 10 minutes by car to Orvieto center, but tricky to find a place to park. More fun to park in the lower town and take the funicular to the top.
A beautifully restored old house with old floors, and full of character. Set in gardens, with a swimming pool, and plenty of room to sit outside. Obviously family run, we were made to feel very welcome, and the breakfast was simple but very enjoyable. The hotel is just off the autostrada, and there is a good restaurant within walking distance, so it is ideal when travelling.
Very convenient location on the way in from the Autostrada in Orvieto Scalo, so it is outside the city walls but close to the funicular station, the cleanliness of the room and its facilities, the excellent breakfast, the charm and friendliness of the staff, private parking right outside the house, the pool - a good place to stay and see Orvieto.
It is very close to the ring road going round Orvieto but we did not find the noise offputting.
Room was great. Very nice pool with a view. Breakfast was excellent. Very good value from the money. Owners speak very little english, wich can be a problem, but are very nice people
Wifi only in common area. Owners speak very little english.
very friendly staff good connection to the highway but still quiet
other guests were italian and they were loud in the night and loud in the morning. building doesn`t isolate sound from other rooms.
Very nice big room with a view on the garden-fresh air into the window. The room is clean and well maintained.
Complicated to find the villa. There is no signs to Aquafredda. Drive into the Oviento direction. On the second circle go to the second exit. Then pass below the railway bridge and turn left in the traffic lighter. Go always streight to the hill-the villa Aquafredda is there. And you need a car to reach the old town. And it is fantastic!!!
The pool, friendly staff
Pool, parking and breakfast included, excellent wifi, very clean, and super nice staff.
The bed was a bit uncomfy (hard) but I have slept on worse!
More than expected
A bit hard to find but only because I was travelling without a gps
The hotel itself is basic, clean and provides good values for money. Handy for visiting Orvieto if you don't want to stay up in the town. Pool is nice.
The location is a bit off putting, especially if arriving late at night. You drive up a rather unscenic side road to reach the hotel. Breakfast was not good.
A great place once we found it.
Difficult to locate at first.
Very nice place, swimming pool
it looks like to much chemicals in water in swimming pool.
In a quiet spot just outside the main tourist drag. We were able to drive in to Orvieto and park very easily and wander about. Staff was friendly and helpful. View was beautiful, nice pool good breakfast.
Loved the friendly welcome when we arrived at 9.45pm, with an invitation to use the lovely pool before bed- perfect end to a tiring day. Good breakfast. Firm, comfortable beds. Had a family feel about the hotel. Neat little town to visit.
Found it hard to find hotel at night first time. Air conditioning seemed to be on a timer. Very small fridge & wifi was virtually unuseable in rooms- worked but slow in guest lounge.
Good breakfast Free parking
Very simple furniture. A light noise from the road. You have to print the detailed map with the villa location in order to understand how to get there.
Easy access to city via funicular railway, good breakfast, friendly efficient staff.
You need a good gps to find hotel.
Staff was helpful and welcoming Rooms were very clean, big and light Good value
Hotel is not as close to funicular as stated Beds were very hard
We really liked the fantastic breakfast with excellent coffee. The rooms are really nice and decorated in a country style, and the location is very quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay again. Very friendly and nice place to stay
There was nothing we didn't like.
very nice welcome by the owners, helped us with late super. room is comfortable and very clean. close to the old city, 5-10 min by car. breakfast was good, can be enhanced by increasing variety of products.
Great views and lovely property. Easy walk to the train station and funicular to town. We even walked down from Orvieto. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the staff were super kind and helpful. Lovely stay for the 8 of us. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Cleanliness Location Facilities
The friendliness of all whom we met there. This was by far the best place we have stayed in Italy. We were enthralled to see the restoration project of a building that looked well beyond repair. Great breakfast. Thankyou for accommodating us when you were about to start renovations.
