In a quiet location at the south end of the Amalfi coast, Lloyd's Baia Hotel has a panoramic cliff-top setting above its private beach. In Vietri Sul Mare, it is a 10 minute drive from Salerno harbor....

The view from the patio was stunning.
The rooms were old and the beds hard. We only had a fan in our room and the shower had no pressure. The restaurant is no longer open.
staff friendly & moderately helpful, breakfast just fair
room only has partial view of the coast, wifi did not work in the room, hot water heater broke, unable to shower, then fixed it at 0730 with tons of noise, could not sleep because of noisy party at villa above going past midnight
Lovely attentive staff, great view, excellent compact room with doors to balcony and beautiful outlook: also superb coastal view over breakfast and for drink , snacks or cup of tea, all provided with a smile, my thanks, Xanthe Xanthe
Ravello was noisy when I was there! loved the festival music and song wafting over to my room, but not the cannon-like fireworks [?] But amore has no control over this and some people don't mind noise!
Great views Friendly and helpful staff They made breakfast for me at 6am as I was leaving early morning. Normal breakfast is 8am.
Single room is very small. Book the double. Shower is small but lots of hot water.
Wonderful and peaceful place, gorgeous view. Helpfull staff.
The views and amazing if you are lucky enough to get a room with a balcony. The staff can't do enough for you. Don't expect 5* facilities as the rooms are very basic Italian but more than adequate as hopefully you won't be spending too much time in the rooms!
It was everything we expected and the views and location were out of this world. Only thing we didn't enjoy was the price of the taxis! Use the bus it is so much cheaper.
The staff is excellent, all in all a great hotel with fantastic views, and good value for money.
They should be more descriptive in terms of the “uphill” part one has to walk to get there. It has many steps and is quite steep. Also, the rooms are very small, as is the showers. Satellite TV only had Italian channels.
Peace, View, cleaningness
10 min walk uphill to get there
Gorgeous little Town and some lovely restaurants.
Even thought there are a lot of stairs to take luggage, view is worth it.
It was really confusing about where to park. I had to leave my partner in the car, as we didnt want to pay 5 euro for half an hour (tight I know) I tried to call but my phone died so I had to walk.. aimlessly asking people which way.. found it in the end.. the lovely woman at reception called a guy who came to us and picked the car up and drove it somewhere... I had to leave my suitcase (20kilos) behind and take a small overnight bag as it was a massive walk with lots of steps it worked out fine for us as it was only one night. The restaurant was lacking in atmosphere and menu was seriously basic so we had to surrender the incredible views and go elsewhere.. next door at villa marie was amazing!! our room was tiny, but ok, no aircon and we could hear the neighbours.. the area ravello itself was amazing so would have been worth spending another night.
We like the location of the hotel, and the easy going atmosphere created by the friendly staff. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. We would love to come again!!
There is quite a walk from the parking, but easy to find.
The view!! Wow! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Having snacks and wine available to sit on the balcony and take in that gorgeous view was wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The parking service (for a fee) was super convenient.
There was no air-conditioning. That was OK for July, but I imagine when it gets a bit hotter, the fan will not cut it.
Small room, hotel was hard to find
This is a modest hotel with great views of the sea and very close to Villa Rufolo. They were also exceedingly accomodating with our large dog. There is a great restaurant nearby at the Hotel Villa Marie.
We had a nice room with balcony overlooking the coast. Very good selection at breakfast
We had hand luggage and found it difficult pulling the cases up many steps. We wouldn't have been able to pull a full sized case up there. The full restaurant is closed and is now a Snack Bar with only a small selection to choose from. We had to go into Ravello for evening meals.
This hotel was so great we never got arround to our secondary objectives of Amalfi and Capri.
It is a long upholl walk from the town square, in narrow lanes , with little possibility of transport except for "golf carts" for baggage. Once at the top it is 46 steps down to get to the reception. This is not a good place for handicapped and can be challenging for the aged.
The staff, especially Paulo Sorrento and Camillo were very kind and attentive. The location is awesome and peaceful with amazing views. Good value for money!
I loved this hotel with its terraces looking out on magnificent views and it's quiet situation tucked away down an ivy clad lane. Nice to be out of the bustling centre of Ravello. Would definitely come here again.
Perhaps the number of stairs both leading to and within the hotel. In the heat it was quite tiring. You have to be fit! Also, inspite of enjoying the lanes during the day I felt a bit nervous walking down them late at night, Thankfully friends staying in other hotels (we were there for a wedding at Villa Cimbrone) walked me back but I'm sure it's quite safe and there are lamps along the way. Would have liked yogurt and more fruit for breakfast.
A wonderful location with beautiful views , breathtaking . Not for the faint hearted as all up and down lots of steps , but well worth it for the fantastic location , will definitely go again .
Breakfast was good on the first morning , but the second and third , a. Little poor as no yoghurts and little fruit , ok if you eat toast and pastrys cheese and meat .
The view was absolutely beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Would definitely go back and stay again in a heartbeat. There is not one bad thing to say.
Beautiful view, lovely weather.
Bed was a little bit too small, to far to walk to town.
The view from the rooms was amazing. Walkway to hotel was quiet and romantic. Staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful
Hotel was a bit hard to find
The location was great and the staff were friendly enough.
Our first room that we were put in was extremely basic, to the point that the shower was very small and I (average size male) couldn't fit in it properly. I think if I was going back to Villa Amore, I would want a better room
Excellent staff, very helpful. Great location and good breakfast.
Decor a little dated, but everything comfortable.
Stunning Views and staff are so polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
Food and facilities were basic but you do get what you pay for. Shower extremely small and breakfast is basic but good enough to set you up for the day.
