Location Room size Dinner was alright
ENTIRE WIFI service and management was horrible
Location Facilities The location of the hotel is very good as we would like to reach the slopes easily. Also we have one small child who will learn to ski this year.
It should be renovated.
Spacious room good bathroom views to mountàins Good breakfast selection
Some staff were not approachable was moved from a table at breakfast where there were was noone else about. However locals could sit where they pleased.
location comfort sauna personnel
Superior double room was very spacious with great view of mountains. Very clean and very quiet away from city
Breakfast was quite limited and of mediocre quality.
The clean and comfortable room. The sauna. The proximity to Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Nothing to report.
Very helpful staff. Great food.
Somewhere to sleep, a decent bath and good sized room. Plenty of parking.
The staff, the décor, the whole place needs updating. Average food.
Staff wasn't nice. rooms don't has a good smell
Dining room staff all lovely people - very friendly and helpful.
Friendly Staff, good food, nice bar, great views
Busy Coach tour turnover. Bike storage facilities poor and not really interested.
Handy location for the mountains with good bus service. Excellent breakfast. Good wifi.
Be aware hotel is 5km up hill from cortina. Large unfinished hotel next door is an eyesore. Villa argentina itself can be noisy.
This place would be perfect in ski season. The rooms were very nice and it near some trails for hiking. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice.
Distance from town. You will need a car and I would recommend a free hotel shuttle as an upgrade to the hotel
The dolomites are fantastic, and you let me use the garage for my motorcycle
WiFi was a joke, very poor reception, and menu was not in English. Old guy on reception desk said he didn't speak very good english but then spoke to an norwegian man in very good english. would not stay here again as I am english, and don't like being given the cold shoulder for being english.
We were on renovated room so it was really good. Saw many hiking path near hotel. Breakfast was nice.
There was renovation going on on this hotel. Sound insulation of the rooms were not so good.
Proximity to the Dolomites
The location is beautiful right in the country surrounded by mountains. It is conveniently close to Cortina. We were on motorbikes and the garage facilities were excellent and secure. Breakfast had a good variety to choose from.
We were five people, it seems that the hotel is being refurbished bit by bit. I and one other had the latest rooms and we could not fault them. However others of the group had extremely small rooms in an old and tired style, the room cost was too high for what they were. Since the hotel was not full they could have put us all in the better rooms and then they would have got a good review. The evening food in the restaurant was ok but not great.
The location of the hotel is superb. Just 5 km from Cortina d'Ammpezzo, upper in the mountains, a bit isolated, right on the slopes. For skiing it is a perfect location. Breakfast is OK. The omlette is strange though. The dinner is well worth the 20 E / person, and is really GREAT. And lots of salads too, very good. The staff ....I think they are too few persons. That's why they are always sweating and running from here to there. The hotel overall is great, quite old, and you can feel this in the looks, in the architecture, in the furniture. But we really loved this!!! It gives you a very nice feeling.
Nothing in particular. Only that they should hire more people....Oh, and may a little bit the fact that it was quite hard to speak in English with anyone. A few words only, and body language.
Excelent Location. The metro D'Hotel is very helpful. The Ski Rental guy is fanatastic!
No SPA, a little pricy
The location was great and the hospitality of reception was great!
The location is great next to the slopes! if you love ski or snowboard is the best place to stay. Also you can go for a walk in the snow late at night-very romantic hotel. The receptionist upgraded our room with one with jacuzzi and a view to Dolomites. I strongly recommended. we will go back thats for sure!
Car is necessary, especially for ski begginers going to Socrepes and have to carry all the ski equipment by bus.
Amazing views, next to the lifts, and a very nice option for dinner with a great menu
Upon check out one of the staff member was taking care of the italians customers first even if they arrived after me
