Pia and Salvo were excellent hosts. We had a great stay and Salvo even printed out a customized map with directions to the Alcantara Gorge and Mount Etna for us. The room (#4) was awesome as well. It was a very memorable stay. Highly recommend it. Note: We could not find the hotel at first as I did not realize it was a 4-bedroom place (hence the quality customized attention to detail by the owners) on the 3rd storey of a building with two mini grocery stores on the first floor. Entrance to the Villa Taormina is a small set of stairs and a 1-2 person elevator on the side of one of the stores.
Salvo and his wife went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The apartment was large, with free wifi, excellent panoramic views of the Taormina beach and bay. The highlight was the breakfast brought to you on your own the terrace each morning.
Everything was perfect !
Excellent position overlooking a beautiful bay. Very easy to get up to Taormina on the funivia. Friendly and helpful hosts.
The view was outstanding and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay! Beautiful. Staff were so kind. Would return. Villa had their own driver.
There was nothing to not like.
Staff, Location, Breakfasts, Magnificient view, service quality. Even the room without sea view but with a private terrace was exceptional. Best value for money and location.
We can only recommend this B&B, especially the hosts were so friendly that we felt almost as part of the family. The breakfast with stunning view on the sea was prepared with love and detail and when we mentioned that we wanted to visit the Etna, we got a map printed out and all needed instructions on the spot. Thank you Pia and Salvo!
We are VERY fussy but:The staff were second to none, the breakfast was delightful, we had a room at the back but had a private rooftop terrace with the BEST views it Taomina. Lovely little gift in room each day. Nothing was too much trouble.
A little expensive compared to other small hotels but i guess you get what you pay for.
Everything especially the breakfasft quality that was served at the terrace with an amazing view over the bay.Mr Salvo and his wife Pia are so professional people.
beautiful place, nice and friendly people, calm and quiet, you could hear the sound of the sea waves directly in your room
location Salvo and Pia - lovely people Rooms with balcony Breakfast
We were allocated a room without windows and a balcony on the first night but were moved for the rest of the stay
Loved the location, the view from the balcony and the friendliness of the owners. We had a wonderful time!
Great place to stay in Taormina. Lovely hosts. They bring your breakfast on your private terrace. Close to the beach and next to the cable way up to Taormina. Free parking space behind the B&B. Highly recommended.
Super friendly owners, great location and a beautiful room (deluxe with sea view).
10+ & 10+ . We have been traveling through Europe for nearly 3 months and our stay in Villa Arianna at Taormina was one of our highlights. Salvo, Maria Pia and staff were tremendous, we were treated like VIP's every day. We have stayed at quite a few 4 star hotels but the service they gave us was a whole lot better. Every day we were treated with gifts when we returned to our room and found drinks, food and fruit waiting for us to be consumed. We stayed in the superior delux room with a fantastic huge balcony with a million dollar view that can't be beaten. I would like to thank everyone at Villa Arianna for really looking after us and making our stay there a memorable one.
We were not there long enough
When we arrived, the owners (Salvo and Pia) were waiting for us and insisted on carrying our luggage inside. Our room was spotless, really spotless, with a view of Taormina's coast to die for. The room was decorated with Salvo's own creations: imaginative and tasteful, imparting a wonderful singularity to our stay. Salvo and Pia offered great advice throughout. Every day we came back to the room to find a little treat: a bottle of wine, a bag of biscotti, a fresh watermelon, etc. They were so thoughtful, so helpful -- so different than ANY other hotel we stayed in on this trip. We left wanting only to return -- so different from our normal away-from-home experiences!
The elevator was small and slow.
amazing service, breakfast on the terrace was a real treat. Sea view fantastic.
towels too small.
Villa Arianna is the perfect place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The room is very nice and comfortable and we enjoyed our breakfasts on the balcony with panoramic view. The location is great, being right next to the cable car to the centre of Taormina and the beach is in front of villa Arianna.
Location, balcony, sea view, comfortable bed!.
The owners and staff were very helpful and rooms were gorgeous. The views from room were amazing and would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Would definitely stay at Villa Arianna again. Thanks for memories.
Everything was perfect, I liked everything.
The location is excellent. An amazing view from the terrace and close to the finicular to go to the historical part of Taormina. It was very clean. What makes it extra special is the daily extra touches Salvo and Pia give you. Very warm welcome and I would definitely stay here again. It shows that they care about their visitors. They want to give you the best possible experience.
Everything was very good. No complaints.
Fabulous view from the balcony. Within easy reach of the town centre via the cable car. Salvo & Maria were wonderful hosts & provided a lot of very helpful information.
Salvo and the staff were OUTSTANDING!! Large, beautiful, romantic room. Breakfast, with the freshest fruit of the island, on our rooftop overlooking the beach and cove every morning! Private lift and less than 100 yards from the funicular to the city!! The Greek Theatre was wonderful. We saw Laura Pausini perform there for her World Tour 2014. OUTSTANDING!!
Food is EXPENSIVE in Taormina, the city! Our location was excellent for us BECAUSE we wanted at least 6 hours of beach time per day! If you want the city itself and do not mind paying high prices, stay there. Driving is VERY DIFFICULT in the city!!
We stayed in the beautiful lion room with its terrace overlooking the ocean where we enjoyed lovely breakfasts delivered each morniing with a smile by Salvo and Pia the owners who were so welcoming and looked after us so well . We loved it and would go again .We even had small gifts left for us each morning !
Nothing except to get to the town and back you have to use the nearby cable car which costs 3 euros per person each way, so 2 people up and back costs 12 euros. We only went up to the town once because its so beautiful around villa arianna !
Super friendly stuff, always willing to help. breakfast with amazing view good location
