Hotel Condor is a 5-minute walk from the historic center of Taormina and it's Ancient Greek Amphitheatre. The sun terrace and breakfast veranda have beautiful sea views.

Score from 369 reviews Wonderful
Perched on the hillside with beautiful sea views and literally just over the road from Taormina's main bus station. Also barely 150m from the funicular which takes you down to the beach. Mauro and Francesca are a lovely young couple who make you feel at home in their beautiful hotel.
Good location to get away early from bus station. Good value for budget travel in this popular tourist destination. Walk to town centre. Narrow balcony with 2 chairs was nice to have.
Quite old building and facilities. Basic but clean.
The hotel is conveniently situated just a short walk from the town. It is clean, comfortable and has parking which is a big bonus in Taormina. The owner Mauro is very friendly, speaks excellent English and willingly gives recommendations for local restaurants and sights. Breakfast was served in the garden and was delicious. The rooms with the sea view are recommended (unfortunately we couldn't get one as the hotel was fully booked.)
The owner was very helpful during our stay, he gave us a map and explained everything we needed to know about the town. This hotel is walking distance from all the main attractions, even Isola Bella! Nice clean room, good wifi, and even a complimentary wake up call from the adorable hotel cat who visited guests in the morning! Overall a good stop when visiting Taormina.
It would have been nice to get a little bit more variety for breakfast.
Marco is most helpful and his presence and suggestions really made a difference for our stay in Taormina.
As often in old charming buildings there are thin walls between the rooms.
Mauro was a great hoast.along with his staff. We also had a great view from the back room. Good breakfast. also
Very friendly and helpful reception. Good breakfast in a charming courtyard. Are planning a large renovation so should be even better.
Well located, comfortable and very clean. Across the street from the bus station and a short walk from the main and wonderful Corso Umberto I, and not too far from the Teatro Greco. Mauro, the owner, is very helpful, with very good tips for dining, moving around the city and, if you are driving, finding safe parking spots. His nice and bella wife serves a decently good breakfast every morning.
Too bad we could not stay any longer.
We were in room 11 and this was the most fantastic view which made up for the rather basic room. Excellent location next to bus station, town centre and funicular for access to beach. Breakfast was quite nice with soya milk provided for my wife and fresh warm bread and croissants but we had to ask for fruit which had been a standard provision on our other 6 hotels/B&B throughout Sicily.
Room 11 would benefit from a nice bed cover, new pictures on wall and new floor covering. Bathroom modern and clean but shower cubicle was quite small. Parking available at villa but expensive at 12 euros extra per day. Owner seemed quite worn out after a long season!!
Mauro, spoke English and gave us great advise what to do and where to eat. The room had a great view (pay the little extra for belcony room.
The location of Astoria is ideal - across from the bus station, away from the crowds of the shopping area, yet only a 5 minute walk from the action. The host that we met was genuine and very helpful with arrangements that we needed to make. His breakfasts were generous in quality and quantity. We especially enjoyed the cornetti and buns that he baked every morning to serve. The shaded breakfast patio was ideal. Despite being on the main road leading to the downtown, the room was quiet; a lot of sound-proofing was undertaken to assure this.
Our choice of Astoria was perfect; however, even in late September, the streets of this high-end tourist town were very crowded.
- fantastic hosts - great location - cleanliness - great value for money
Nothing, tutto perfecto!
The innkeeper was excellent - very friendly and helpful. We had a window with a gorgoeus view over the bay.
Had a lot of trouble with shower the first night. Shower head was replaced - better 2nd night but very strong. Couldn't get hot water in shower one day. Internet was very spotty.
Mauro, the owner, was excellent. Location and value-for-money are excellent.
Wi-fi was not available in the bedroom, although that may have been a problem with the service provider.
Nice place to stay and owner is very helpful. Close to main town and parking on site is easy. This is a worthwhile stay
Lovely Italian B&B, opposite bus station, easy walk to town, small balcony with sea view, walking distance to town . Mauro was a good host, recommended nice restaurants and was kind enough to come and rescue us when we were lost finding the hotel on arrival.
Wifi coverage intermittant
Across the road from the bus station but no noise at night. Stunning views from the rooms on one side. Pretty garden to have breakfast in.
Rooms to the sea side are just adorable. The employees are very kind and helpfull, they arrange parking slots, give you indroduces for citywalks and best advices to restaurants! Taormina is a wonderfull village and Villa Astoria gives you any offer to enjoy it!
Excellent location, so close to the town. Excellent breakfast, extremely helpful owner.
The hotel is close to the center and the cable lane (both a few minutes walk), The hotel has parking spots (you have to reserve these). The owner was a real friendly guy who gave us some great tips for restaurants and bistro's in town. The rooms where clean and we had free wifi
Convenient to cable car lift down to beaches. Very helpful staff recommended restaurants for us and the best way to see Mt Etna without being ripped off as a tourist. Breakfast in the courtyard under the Carob bean tree, lovely
Nice place in touristic Taormina. Hosts are really kind
Breakfast is ok, but when you stay for 3 nights is too much the same. We had a room with no seaview, thats why our view was the bus station
Looks just like an Italian villa, really well maintained, lovely garden, breakfast was good coffee, tea bread , meat and cheese. Cheerful service, very helpful staff The double room was gorgeous, all white paint, very plain and tasteful.Quiet, shutters opening onto balcony over the sea, tiled floor, modern bathroom, just perfect ! Just a short walk up the hill to the centre of town.right opposite bus station but no noise from the street at all ! We were sorry we had missed out on booking extra nights.very reasonable price !
Wifi on first night not after that
A room with the seaview, very nice breakfast with a freshly baked croissant and fruits every morning, clean bathroom and great location. The owner, Mauro, was very nice and helpful!
