The Tuscan landscape was stunning, the staff very friendly, the breakfast fine, and the swimming pool refreshing. The room was historic and beautiful and very well-appointed. The whole complex has much history which the staff shared with us. They even left a key and instructions for us to accommodate our very late arrival.

The location of the villa would not register in our GPS, and the reception desk was already closed, so there was no one to give directions. We called twice, and they did their best, but they had the same problems as the gps. We finally found a local person still out late at night who knew the way and reached the villa after over 2 hours of searching.

This place is in a dream setting. Perfect for touring Tuscany, and about a forty minute drive into Florence. We regretted that we didn't have enough time to hike from the guest house too.

Not very easy to find first time, even with Waze. Clearer and more detailed directions would be helpful.

the location was close enough to major roadways to make getting around Tuscany pretty easy. Tranquil and quiet, with beautiful views. Staff are amazing. Apartments are good value for families, each bedroom had its own bath ( good showers) Screens on windows made for al fresco nights without Mosquitos

Nothing.some people may have problem with internet but we used it as a chance to unwind.

The location of the villa and the surrounding landscape were marvellous (inlcuding the swimming pool with a very nice view); the Romanian lady serving the breakfast was very kind and helpfull; the authenticity of the buidings (the building was old but well preserved and all the things inside were perfectly matching the building architecture); you can easily visit all Tuscany from this place

The restaurants and supermarkets were far away (you needed to go in the other villages to find some); the road leading to the Villa was in very bad shape, you have to drive very slow and carefully

A lovely, peaceful country retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Florence.

The biggest advantage of this place in the location - the views are just amazing. The villa, pool as well as our room were also very nice and clean. Another thing we liked were breakfasts: simple but quite rich and very tasty.

The biggest disadvantages of this place included continuous problem with the Internet access for guests and the reception personnel who is not too helpful to fix it. We flagged the issue several times however for the whole time we stayed there we weren’t able to access the Internet. Renting bicycles is also problematic – in practice, there are not on site. Minibar is in fact a small refrigerator with two bottles of mineral water. It is not possible to eat or buy anything to drink there – you have to drive everywhere and since there are no bicycles available at hand, going there by car is absolutely a must.

We enjoyed the pool and the room was good, very roomy, air conditioning effective, ensuite well appointed. Breakfast average.

Finding this accomodation was very frustrating, not well signposted and when arriving at destination the long drive in is treacherous!

This former winery is located in the middle of nature and charms with its old and somewhat dusty buildings - everything seems like preserved from another century. Very quiet, magnificent pool, outstanding view. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful.

If you want to go for dinner you have to drive for at least 15 min to go to a decent restaurant. Staff is available only from 8 to 12 am, reception seems to have no regular hours. Breakfast offers only one type of cheese and ham, coffee and tea dreadful.

Nobody else on this deserted premise. We had the whole grounds to ourselves including the pool. Lovely spots to bring your own wine and snacks and sit and enjoy the view. Nice spacious rooms.

Staff barely speak english. On the internet it said they had a bar. But this was closed during the week we stayed there. Also no internet, which was also promised on the internet. On top of that the manager had broken her leg the day before and there was no one to replace her which made the check-in, getting organized and check-out rather messy. The road up there will trash your car if you're not careful, they should really fix that.
