Enjoy affordable accommodations in Rome’s pretty Garbatella area. Hotel Derby is near good public transportation services into the historic center of Rome and vicinity, and to the city’s EUR business...
Score from 525 reviews Very good
Offering free Wi-Fi, Hotel Casa Domitillia is 200 metres from the Catacombs of Domitilla and has good bus links into the centre of Rome. There is a church on site.
Score from 1347 reviews Very good
Very convenient location, with good metro connection and also close to urban train (perfect to get to Vatican) and closed to Eataly foodcourt with the traditional cousin and shops. Also very helpful English speaking staff, giving good advices about sighting and places to see.
Furniture in the room rather old and not comfortable. We were 3 people (one adult and two older children) and one bed was like tourist type. We were there in December, room was cold, no central heating, just air conditioning heater which did not make the room warm.
The cleaness, the breakfast.
the locaization was not so good for the price we paid, the staff not so helpful.
Room has no fridge, Room is very tight, Very noisy, Very primative hotel Basic Breakfast, Run like a hostel
Good position, close to Garbatella subway, nice personell, continental meals, silence and clean.they changed our towels every day, good wi fii
No markets around,no tv
I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance, by mistake I realized I reserved a double room in stade of a single one, so within a couple of hours laters I contacted them to make the change BUT they wouldnt do it without charging me an amount of money that would, at the end, cost me more than a double room.
For Rome it's very good location for decent price. Walk to the Centro Storico is around 30minutes, besides that metro station is not far away.
Room itself is quite average (small, a bit dated) though clean.
Its right near a place called eataly- go there to eat it was yummy. It wasn.t in a tourist area so you had less tourist worries like tourist food and tour guides harassing you
Word of warning the train station that starts with O near by is sketchy with times and platforms. You can never ask too many questions when you are there. Leave lots of time if you are going to the airport
– excellent price/performance ratio (with the bargain I've got from booking.com, dunno about the ordinary rates) – squeaky clean room and bathroom – nice, helpful staff – convenient position – expresso coffee for breakfast!
– I don't have a light sleep, but if I would, I guess that I wouldn't want to be that close to the railway. It will soon shake your windows and rattle your walls, as the poet did say.
Quiet location, yet handy to metro for quick access to city and attractions. Excellent value for money. Nearby to Eataly restaurants and busy suburban shopping area.
Hotel a bit noisy as everthing is tiled and carries sound.
It was close to the metro. We had a fridge, iron and ironing board at our floor for common usage. I could take print-out from the common computer at the lobby for free.
Good sleep. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast. Local neighbourhood. Great little restaurants, icecream shop, and Eataly food mall.
This is a simple but clean and adequate hotel. It's good value for what you pay with friendly staff. We enjoyed the breakfast. I also liked the fact that the reception is 24 hours. It's also easy to travel around from this location.
Nothing really comes to mind. There was a plug not working but this was fixed within about 5 minutes so no complaints from me.
Villa Benedetta is very conveniently located just up the road from the train station. Only two stops from Colosseo! Lots of cafés and takeaway food stores just around the corner. The women at reception are lovely and very helpful. They clean your room and bring you fresh towels every single day! So good! And the breakfast was good too, not a hot breakfast but a wide range of choices with pastries and cereals plus lots of extras. We arrived early and were just going to wait in the foyer until checkin but they were very happy to check us in 2 hours before they had to. Loved staying here, will be recommending to everyone!
Nothing, everything was perfect!
- very clean, which is the most important for me - secure - Very friendly staff - good location
- The breakfast was ok, not my favorite.

sufficient breakfast good location from view of avilability daily cleaning of rooms helpful staff
noise from metro dirty area around the hotel
Perfect location near the city center, metro station nearby, quiet etc...
Close to the underground. Clean Friendly Staff and very helpful.
Breakfast was so bad it was barely worth walking downstairs. Beds were very uncomfurtable
Clean and quiet hotel, too many groceries and restaurants in neiborhood. Very close to the metro station. Wi fi connection.
Breakfast, also there is no TV in the rooms!
Felt safe inside the hotel
Did not feel particularly safe outside the hotel
Rome has wonderfull monuments.
Rome is not good enough for wheelchair users.
I appreciated that they left a small sack with our breakfast in the morning, since our train was leaving earlier than the time they started serving it. Facilities are clean and quiet. The metro is very close.
the receptionist was not the kindest person I have ever talked to on the phone. Seemed not to like the fact that I had asked for dark curtains..
