Together Florence Inn features a central garden with a well and olive trees. It is located 2.5 miles from central Florence, and features a heated outdoor pool and a free well-equipped gym.
Score from 667 reviews Very good
In a historic building in the historic center of the city, Residenza Fiorentina is less than a 10 minute walk from Florence Cathedral and Santa Maria Novella Train Station.
Score from 588 reviews Excellent
Grand Hotel Mediterraneo is set on the banks of the Arno River, just over half a mile from Piazza Santa Croce.
Score from 227 reviews Good
Just a 5-minute walk from Florence’s Santa Maria Novella Station, the Hotel Nizza provides attentive service and an extensive continental breakfast.
Score from 841 reviews Very good
Location, overall atmosphere, friendliness of staff. Value for the money paid.
Bed is uncomfortable (too hard) and short (190 cm). Rooms could be better isolated (unless you do not mind being woken up by housekeeping ladies cleaning other rooms at 930 Sunday morning) and need some refreshing. Breakfast is very plain and only soso.
Since the hotel is a little outside the city diwntown, the cost is better. And the location is also great because you can reach downtown by foot with no problem! The room was really good, spacious and confortable. I'd stay there again with no hesitance.
Only bright point in this mediocre establishment was excellent reception stuff, particularly eve receptionist Branislav who greeted us upon arrival, made us comfortable and shared with us all essential informations.
Small not-comfortable triple room, beds hard, sink in washroom jammed and was flooding dirt, cleanness of the room not satisfactory, room heating masterminded from reception (?), breakfast served "on drops" - always something was missing and it would take unnecessary long time for that to be provided. Location of hotel far from the centre with uncomfortable half a mile uphill (downhill) in front of hotel. Be aware that your breakfast, neither car parking are not included in price (though the parking may not be even vacant) which are a kind of hidden costs. With all of this I do not find this hotel to offer any value for the money paid. Not recommended.
Everything was great the grounds are beautiful and great location. The front desk helped us book a tour for the following day. The beds were not great!
The beds were awful hard my husband and I had a bed that was made of two twin beds put together and they would seperate.
Spacious rooms and ample bathroom
REALLY flat pillows and hard beds (although these seem to be the norm in Italy!)
The hotel is very nice, stuff also nice and helpfull, location in a calm place and not far away from the down town, only what we missed was iron - the hotel doesn't provide this kind of service.
Classy and quiet, parking
Very nice and quite spot. Close to bus taking to centre of city. Very helpfull staff. Very comfortable for those arriving with car.
No breakfast included that is expensive.
The calm, the proximity to green areas; the garden and the terrace, the room with the stoned wall
The breakfast could be improved
Clean room/towels/sheets, very helpful staff with good spoken english, not very far from the centre (25 min by foot to ponte vecchio), nice garden
poor wifi in the room (last floor), dead mosquitoes on the wall, and got mosquito bites in october, no restaurant near in case one wants to eat he has to go to the city
Features are modern and high level: the bathroom is big and very comfortable, beds and clima are perfect. A plus: the beautiful garden where you can savour life the Italian way. The position: walking distance from the center but far from the crowd.
Breakfast not included and quite expensive. The rooms and suites at first floor have no elevator: consider it if you have problems to walk.
QUIET and Pretty
No food service during day
Quiet environment Enroute of bus (public transportation)
Feeling a bit of insecurity because of no curtain or blind in the toilet. No blackout curtain in the bedroom
The hotel is situated well off the street in a quiet area south of the Arno and the main tourist area. The reception staff was very helpful in every way. The breakfast buffet was typical but with very nice coffee service. The garden area was lovely for breakfast or for an evening cocktail. The room was clean and adequately furnished. Sheets strached crisply and fresh.
A 30 minute walk or 15 bus ride (Take the number 11 from around the corner. Tickets at the Poggio Bar across the street). Great for being out of the noise and crowds, but a bit far for convenient touring.
Everything was great! The villa is located perfectly for those who want to come by car closest to the central zone. The parking is only 5 EUR a day which is very checp considering all other hotels I looked.
A lovely hotel located up the hill from Florence, away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful villa in lovely gardens. You can feel the calm as soon as you walk up the driveway, and it was easy to relax! Modern facilities and large beds - very comfortable. The two young Italian concierges that we mostly dealt with were very friendly and warn, and went out of their way to help us. A lovely hotel for a romantic getaway!.
My friend recommended me this hotel from his last stay, and it is really amazing. It has its own big garden with typical Tuscany weather, which makes it more favourable. We did not had time to enjoy the breakfast, but I guess dining in the garden would be a lovely experience. It is so quiet at night, with gazing of the stars, you can forget everything you dislike. Although the location is a little bit far from the city center, but this would not be a problem for most people, since they all drive.
The first night we stayed at the deluxe room, and the pipe had some problem to let go water, so I could not take bath after my friend take shower.
Good and professional staff, good condition of room and bathroom. Noiseless place. Easy to reach by bus from city center (3 min walk + 15 min by bus). Our best dinner in Italy was a recommendation by the attendant, the place is called Antica Porta and it is 15 min walking from the hotel.
- surroundings - garden - drive-in :) - clean and cosy - easy to walk to historical town (20 mins) - breakfast in the garden - staff and the fact they booked tickets for Uffizi for us at no extra cost
+ beautiful location with a nice garden and an old villa + friendly staff + parking inside the garden + good and free WiFi + quiet and clean + inside garden where you can have a glass of wine in the evening in a beautiful setting, or have breakfast in the morning sun
- moderate breakfast, probably good for Italian standards but not enough options for my taste - pretty far from city centre: 20-30 minutes by foot to Ponte Vechio (still a quiet neighbourhood so we had no problems to walk to the hotel in the evenings) - no slippers - cold floor (no carpet)
Close to all monuments in Florence, a quite place with a nice garden, helpful staff.
Lack of restaurant when you don't want to go to the city center.
Good location, set in a big garden into a quiet place of Florence. Imprressive parking and road from entrence. Very nice staff.
We liked everithing.
Very nice hotel. Comfortable and clean. Beautiful setting. Good location, 20-25 minute walk to center. Staff pleasaant and helpful. Easy parking on site.
Mosquitos bothered us at night.
We've stayed 4 days and very pleased with hotel, staff and location. By the way it's 15 minutes walk to Porta Romana and 25 minutes to Ponte Vecchio. If it's a bit far for you, you may use bus which is so close to hotel. Also private parking is available and 5€ per day. It's really a reasonable price especially in Italy. Hotel is clean, comfortable and enviroment is beautiful.
Not something dislike but in my opinion breakfast is simple for this kind of hotel and varients can be improved.
The room for 3 was big (in two stairs). The breakfast was excellent and eating it in the garden was marvellous. There is good bus connection to the city. Parking place is good.
