Excellent hotel quite near of Malpensa airport

I was there with my wife just for one night, before our flight from Milan-Malpensa Airport (just 11 miles) to New York-JFK. The hotel is located in a beautiful 17th Century Italian mansion. The staff is kind and very professional. Our room was perfect: spacious, elegant, very well equiped and perfectly clean. Great breakfast in a splendid veranda and beautiful garden with pool and lake view.

Beautiful hotel, had the 'wow' factor. Wonderful room, clean and comfortable. It was like staying in an englsh stately home. Nice gardens and pool area.

The village itself had not a lot to offer, but if you want peace and quiet then it's perfect.

Room was beautiful, generally property is very attractive.

We were celebrating our 10 years anniversary and I informed the hotel about it in advance. At the check'in stuff wasn't particularly affable and didn't know what "upgrade" is. When I arrived there wasn't anything (amenities) in the room, not even a "Happy aniversary" note or a flower. My friend had a chat with the manager and he sent us eventually a bottle of spumante. (Greatly appreciated!) At the check-out front office agent passed me a letter from our friends, who also stayed at the hotel, and mentioned: "By the way your friends forgot their passports". And as they were leaving for Russia that very evening - it was a big problem! That was entirely hotel's fault of not giving passports back at the check- out, and then passing their problem to us, instead of resolving it by themselves. Breakfast was not great (omelette inedible) and the china wasn't particularly clean, we needed to change our tea set.

Wonderful feel of old world opulence. Staff were very efficient and polite.

Stylish hotel with a huge territory. My room was nice and spacious, while the one of my colleague, who stayed in the hotel simultaneously with me, was almost twice smaller than mine. Perfect lake view from the room. Relaxed and peaceful environment.

A lot of mosquitoes, most likely, because of some tiny lake on the territory of the hotel. Quite poor breakfast.

We have been to this hotel as a group of 8 family member, ranging from 3 to 65 years old. All loved the hotel. The elegancy, the garden, conveniency are the best. Lovely view of the lake and very convenient to go both como and maggiore lakes, if you have a car. We felt like we were in 16 th century. There is nice elegant restaurant with good choice of wine. İnternet is free, parking is very easy. Rooms are lovely decorated.

the breakfast needs to be improved. Some tomateotes and green vegetables would be nice. The menu of the restaurant is limited. For one or two nights it is fine. But plan to eat somewhere else if staying longer. There are a couple of restaurants by the lake, which is 3-5 min. By car.

Fantastic period property, friendly staff, well appointed rooms and well located for travelling around the lake area.

Sehr freundliches Personal, schöne renovierte Zimmer und ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel ist etwas schwer zu finden. Die Anreise-Info sollte etwas genauer sein.

Struttura molto ben restaurata, personale cordiale e molto disponibile, posizione un po'discosta ma bella zona.

Schöne, individuell eingerichtete grosse Zimmer. Tolles Ambiente leckeres Essen in stillvoller Atmosphäre, nicht überteuert und fast zu große Portionen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Hoffentlich behält die Villa ihren Charme, wenn der Hotel-Neubau auf dem gleichen Grundstück abgeschlossen ist.

super schöne Villa im guten Zustand, gute Betten und Dusche, Qualität des Abendessens sehr gut, Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse gut (frisches Obst, Müsli, Käse, Wurst, usw)

Ein Catering Mobil stand in der Nacht unten am Haus und man hat die Klimaanlage gehört. Ist aber ja bestimmt nicht jeden Tag der Fall. Es liegt in einem schönen Park und ist sehr ruhig aber man sollte schon wissen das man ab und zu einen Zug hört und auch die Einflugschneise zum Flughafen zu hören ist, wenn auch nicht besonders lut.

На рецепшен нас встретила девочка некомпетентная. Сказала что номер будет только после двух, отель был пустой. Когда мы спросили куда бы она порекомдовала нас съездить и где пообедать она дала нам карту без своих комментариев. Мы попросили оставить вещи в комнате хранения отеля, когда вернулись наши вещи так и лежали в холле. Вся вила в искусственных цветах. На ужине мы тоже были одни после от личной лазаньи, было ужасное мясо ,как в столовой.на территории отеля стройка, и половина парка это свалка остатков после реконструкции отеля. Делать в окуре нечего , рядом других ресторанов нет.

Prachtige locatie, zeer sfeervol en een goede balans tussen klassiek en modern. Uitstekende keuken. Een absolute aanrader!

Très belle villa, tout est rénové. Chambres vaste, deco de bon goût. Grande piscine extérieure.

Gros travaux en cours dans l'hôtel et à proximité. Pas mal de bruit dans les communs, mais chambres bien insonorisées. Personnel assez peu investi pour un lieu sublime qui mériterait bien mieux!

Clase, elegancia,atención, amabilidad, gentileza.Un fin de semana para pasalo en buena compañia con tranquilidad.Un gran acierto sin dudad.

Se podria incluir un servicio de bienestar corporal,y visitas guiadas.Si abres las ventanas oyes el tren cercano y los aviones pasar.

Die Lage, das Hotel sind wirklich sehr schön.

Mit Booking haben wir eine Deluxe Zimmer von ca. 32 Quadratmeter reserviert aber es stimmt nicht. Wir haben wahrscheinlich ein einzeln Zimmer gehabt. Es fehlt Bademantel wenn wir in Schwimmbad gehen wollen.

Wr waren bereits das 2. mal binnen drei Monaten hier. Der Charme dieser Villa in dem Verwunschenen Park und der Komfort der Betten in den geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern haben uns schon das 1. mal überzeugt. Diesmal konnten wir sogar wetterbedingt den Pool geniessen und abends auf der Terrasse mit Blick über dem See essen. Villa Borghi ist einfach ankommen, zu Hause fühlen und abschalten. Das nächste Wochenende ist in Planung :)

Nebenan baut der gleiche Betreiber auf dem selben Parkgrundstück eine größere Hotelanlage mit modernem Wellnessbereich. Wir befürchten, die Ruhe in der alten Parkanlage wird bald Geschichte sein, wenn erst der neue Bettenkoloß in Betrieb genommen wird...

Mi è piaciuto molta la cura del verde che la circondava, la pulizia della piscina, della camera e di tutti gli interni. Ottima anche l'accoglienza della reception.
