The view! The comfortable room and ambience! The very friendly staff and hospitality of the Conte. The very good value breakfast...everything...

The only downside was having to drive into siena and if you walk to the local Osteria make sure you take a decent phrase book! It is lovely but you have no idea what you are getting.

FANTASTIC location, if you can imagine the Tuscany fotos from google, this place is it. excellent friendly family owned hotel highly recommended

a bit cold in the room

Beautiful historic villa just out of Siena with magnificent views of Tuscan countryside. Staff very helpful and friendly - had a complimentary guided tour of property and wine tasting which was fascinating and wine excellent. Went out of their way to help us and suggest great places to visit in the region. Would highly recommend that everyone consider Villa Cambi. loved it all.

The hospitality was really great, we arrived at 6 pm and already at 7.15 we had a tour through the winery, followed by a degustation. The villa is really close to Siena city center, but nevertheless you feel like somewhere in the countryside. Strong recommendation

Breakfast could have more choices, you have to take it in the hallway. But on the other side it's only 5,--euro per person.

The staff of two very kind and helpful gentlemen, Guiseppe and Jose. Being in the countryside and the scenery.

We didn't mind but some people might not realize the distance to Siena and would probably need their own car to save on taxi expenses.

Loved everything about Villa Cambi. The villa, the location, the view and the vineyard. The staff were very helpful and you can have a private tour of the vineyard with some wine tasting at the end. A great place to unwind and take in the beautiful views after a day of exploring Siena. Will definately stay at Villa Cambi again if ever returning to the Tuscany region.

Not enough equipment in the kitchen if you want to cook yourself.

Environment and breakfast

Villa Cambi is beautifully situated with stunning views of Siena. The Villa is excellently managed by very helpful staff who consider themselves to be lucky to be able to work in such a pretty part of the Tuscan countryside. The staff will go out of their way to assist you in making your stay both comfortable and memorable. The rooms are decorated tastefully and are spotlessly clean. Plenty of food options are available for breakfast and the staff even laid on a birthday cake for my girlfriend for her birthday whilst staying here. They also gave us a free tour of the vineyard, which was very informative. Highly recommended.

We haven chosen this hotel for our honeymoon part in Sienna, what we impressed about the hotel was its silence and view of nature. We got what we expect from that point of view. View from the hotel is amazing, we spent silent times at pool with the scene. If you have car, very close to city. Hotel staff is friendly and so kind, we had good information and suggestions while checking in. Our room (azzure) were decorated nice, it was always clean. We felt boutique hotel experience.

There are only 3 rooms and all are on the same floor that we couldn't recognized when we booked. Since it is not built as a hotel, rooms are close and you can easily hear other rooms. We were lucky and had no problem. Although it is almost 2 km away from highway, when you open the your room window you hear noise of cars behind. Since it is still quite enough to listen birds:) Bed is quite soft so if you have back problems you may wake up with ache in the morning.

Villa Cambi has lovely well-equipped apartments just outside of Sienna. The rooms are clean and spacious. The views are stunning. The staff was friendly and helpful but not obtrusive.

The breakfast room is cramped and hot. If you have an apartment, you are better off getting your own supplies and enjoying breakfast al fresco.

It was absolutely beautiful! Loved everything about this place.

Villa Combi is an amazing place to spend your vacation. The view outside your window, the hosts (Emanuel and Giuseppe), the serene surroundings and location are all only a few of many awesome things about this place. You will be spending your vacation on a really beautiful vineyard on the hill.....how can yo go wrong with that?

Very beautiful situation, lovely staff - good for running - quiet roads. Small but great pool. All surrounded by olive trees and vineyards - the produce of both sold from the winery shop and delicious.

Beautiful location, definitely suggest having a car if visiting Siena. Car was easy to park when going into the town centre. Giuseppe and Jose were lovely and we enjoyed our week stay. Breakfast was enough with juice, tea, coffee, pastries etc.

Would have been better if the kitchen was better equipped. I.E. kettle, tea towel, oil, salt and pepper etc.

We booked Villa Cambi looking for the "Tuscan villa" experience. It didn't disappoint! The villa was very charming with big windows that opened up to gorgeous views of Siena. The rooms were spacious and very clean. When we arrived, we were given a nice tour of the former castle and a nice glass of the wine from the winery that is part of the estate. It was very exciting and fun! We enjoyed our experience very much and would stay there again. If you are looking for the Tuscan experience, Villa Cambi gives it for a reasonable price.

The internet service needs to be upgraded. It was very slow and only worked some of the time.

Beautiful location and easy to get in and out of Siena. The appartment was very spacious and you could eat outside. Ideal for couples with children

the cooking facilities were limited with few pots and pans and no oven or microwave. So if you go there to cook some serious Tuscan food from the markets then it has limited facilities

We all loved everything about this place, would go back again in a thats for sure. Just Beautiful.

The tranquility of the Villa Cambi is highly recommended with the apartments fully self catering and worthwhile staying at. There are spectacular views of the countryside and it is close to the walled town of Siena. The generosity of the hosts and the tour of the castle cellars was an additional sight to behold.

Not complaints, suggestions. The exquisite Villa Cambi wine is deserving of having better glassware available. The rooms although well catered for could do with having an available laundry and ironing facilities in the room, some basic tea and coffee making facilities would also go well to making the stay more comfortable. As a suggestion, the owners could put together a page or two of local facilities in other languages. We had trouble finding basic places like supermarkets, laundry, beautician and tourist information centres.

The location and the history.

The rooms were not very clean and the kitchen very poorly equipped . The beds are very hard and the pillows are like cement. Finally after 4 nights we decided we must leave but were charged for 2 extra nights . At best the accommodation is 2 star

El hotel esta un monte a unos 5 minutos de Siena, con una vista inmejorable de la ciudad. En un entorno de silencio y belleza increíble. El desayuno lo cobran 5 euros y lo vale.

O chalé é amplo e comporta muito bem dois casais, pois tem dois andares. A cozinha é bem equipada. O atendimento é excelente e o passeio pela Vila é muito bom. A vista é maravilhosa e fica bem perto de Siena.

A limpeza não estava boa. Havia muito pó acumulado e o forno da cozinha estava mal limpo, o que deixou o apto com cheiro de comida quando chegamos. Pequenas coisas incomodaram, como a tampa do vaso sanitário que se soltava a todo tempo, falta de cortinas que impedissem a entrada de luz pela manhã, falta de saboneteira no box do banheiro de baixo e a internet que deixou de funcionar por 3 dias. Mas pela beleza do lugar e bom atendimento, foi uma ótima estadia.
