Set 9 km from Siena, this 19th-century country house features a restaurant and outdoor pool. It offers traditional Tuscan rooms with wood-beamed ceilings, surrounded by sunflower fields.

The property and views of Siena are incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was significant. Definitely take the tour with the tasting and food pairing. It's well worth the money they charge for this. The property is very quiet and you feel like you have the whole place to yourselves. The 2 bedroom luxury apartment is very large so we all had space for our 5 day stay. It was perfect for our Christmas in Italy. We would definitely stay here again.
The sofa bed was not so much uncomfortable but very noisy every time there was any movement on the bed. This is an apartment and I expected a few more amenities such as garbage bags, kitchen soap etc. Fortunately a market was not too far away. There could also be an improvement to the kitchen cookware, especially considering the description of our unit as a luxury apartment. Expectations should be set about what is provided before arrival. Also, this property is on a winery and there were no wine glasses in our apartment.
Everything was perfect. We do recommend it. Is beautifil.. I hope to return soon. Love this place. Roy, From Panama
Great staff, free upgrade, clean and spacious apartment, breathtaking view, generous breakfast
WiFi was a little slow
Lovely view, wine tour was interesting and informative. Staff gave us wonderful tips of beautiful places to visit in Chianti area. Unit was clean, kitchen fairly basic equipped. Wifi worked well.
Tv did not work. 3rd bed is just a hard couch but fine for one night. Showerdoor is leaking.
Comfortable, clean and spacious room Views of countryside lovely Good proximity to Siena without being inside the city Good tasty breakfast, except coffee wasn't great
Staff were a little absent/not particularly helpful
Very pleasant ambience in an historic building on a hill with a view to Sienna.
Facilities a bit 'basic'
Rooms were clean and comfortable Very quiet Views of Sienna Wine tasting ( fee) Good breakfast
Problems with coffee maker at breakfast Had private group party one evening with no dinner option for us
Beautiful grounds, courteous and helpful staff
Nowhere to place soap/ hang bath towel in shower. A little too far from town.
The view, the wine tasting, the room was lovely.
Wanted to stay forever....
Stayed at Villa Cambi for 2 nights while visiting Siena and touring the region. We really enjoyed being out of the city and had a beautiful view of Siena (3km away). The rooms were roomy, basic but totally functional and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed their vineyard tour followed by wine tasting and then dinner on the terrace overlooking Siena – just lovely. Would stay here again!
The shower had no place to put shampoo etc. except the floor.
The view of Siena on the next hill was amazing. The villa is a generous size and even the view from the swimming pool was excellent. The wine tasting & tour was very informative
The moving floorboards from the living area to the bathroom were slightly unnerving - sliding door to basement perhaps ?
The haus has very good feeling. The view to the beautiful garden and the marvellous dinner with the lights of the city....unbelievable!The staff is perfect.
Great service, the staff made us feel very welcome. The property is beautiful, peaceful and very romantic.
The villa is situated above the town, the view is fantastic. The room is very good, comfortable. The pool is very good.
Tv is very-very little cc 30 cm and wifi sometimes did not work.
We loved the serene countryside atmosphere. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was great. Had a nice outdoor pool. Proximity to Sienna was a nice bonus. Giuseppe gave a nice wine tour and the tastings and food was lovely.
Rooms could have been aired out by opening the windows prior to arrival as they were a bit stuffy at first.
Friendly and helpful staff excellent location wonderful landscape view.
Location, pool, view and Giuseppe, reception and fixer. Food and restaurant were excellent.
We were in outside room for 'self-catering' - the kitchen and equipment were insufficient for that.
Great view !!!! Great breakfast worth the 5 euros. Close to Siena
Giuseppe, Alyssa, and the full staff and family at Villa Cambi were exceptional hosts for our trip to Tuscany. The accommodations, grounds, service, relaxed atmosphere, and all other aspects of the trip were out of this world. It is a perfect location for day trips into Siena, San Gigmignano, Florence, Montalcino, and others, but it was often difficult to leave the grounds since we just wanted to lounge and enjoy the facilities. We look forward to returning someday for a longer stay.
Excellent location neat Siena with beautiful views onto the old part of the town. Beautiful residence full of charm. Friendly staff.
The view, the staff, and the grounds.
There was mold in our room!
The long walk into town was enjoyable and the views were good
The TV was old and did not work, despite having asked for it to be sorted out three times. The kitchenette was not adequately outfitted, with only 3 broken and cracked cups, no bowls and no dish washing liquid. The bed was awful and the covering was filthy. There was a light on outside all night, every night with curtains that were poorly thought of. There was a very basic level of comfort. There was a hole in the floor covered by a make shift wooden cover that slipped beneath you every time you had to traverse it. In short, it was not representative of the high average score that it was rated at and booking.com need to be aware that their rating system should not be anything other than accurate. We would have rated it at no more than a 4.
