Loved the old world charm and the charming staff!! Could not have been nicer. Easy parking Great breakfast in lovely room
A little hard to find.
This villa was a wonderful find! Setting and location were perfect to tour and relax. The staff could not be more pleasant and helpful.
The view from the pool area and patio were gorgeous and being so close to Castellina in Chianti with it's many restaurants made it easy to indulge. Great buffet breakfast too.
Need a car to access it easily.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. It is walking distance to great restaurants and Castelini also day drives to some remarkable towns and places. I will be recommending Casalecci to our friends.
The location, friendliness of the staff.
The wi-fi is present but internet connectivity fails often.
We choose villa for stay after trip from Florence. It is cosy hunting house, very rich decorated. Beautiful view to Tuscany hills. Umberto, the director, helped in every request and showed attention to each detail.
Lovely facility with warm, welcoming proprietor; close proximity to hill towns and wineries in Tuscany; lovely little town of Castellina with many choices of restaurants. This was our second stay at Villa Casalecchi, and we felt like we had just visited our Italian relatives.
Nothing to dislike.
The villa was a great spot, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Good breakfast and pool a plus. gorgeous spot and central location. Town was nearby and good choices to eat and fun to walk around . Loved it . Patty Albany, NY
Umberto and his family were so very hospitable. We showed up late on the checkin date and had received an email the previous day telling is that the restaurant was not open. After letting them know about our dissappointment they upgraded us to a superb rennaissance style room. They even suggested a restaurant that was just 2 minutes away and was very good.
Definitely disappointed we did not stay longer! ;-)
The villa is as beautiful as I remember, when I visited for lunch with my daughter six years ago. I remembered it and always wanted to come back, and I'm glad I did. Umberto was a wonderful host for our delightful stay.
The pillows! The comfort of the bed would be much improved with softer pillows.
Beautiful villa and beautiful surroundings. Very nice pool with a view on the tuscan hills (only make sure to bring mosquito protection!) Excellent staff, always very helpful. Great breakfast. We enjoyed wandering around the woods. It was just perfect.
The mansion The staff The atmosphere
No restaurant The Wifi is not great
stayed before, all good, would return
The room with a view Location - easy to get to Castellina Lovely pool
We LOVED everything about this villa, and were only sorry we hadn't booked it for more than one night! The staff were so welcoming and accommodating! The suite we were in was clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Swimming in the pool was so relaxing in the gorgeous surroundings, and the grounds were exquisite! The hotel manager was the kindest gentleman, anxious to keep his guests happy and comfortable! I highly recommend Villa Casalecchi if you are traveling in the Chianti area!
The only negative was the distance to town and any kind of restaurants. One really needs a car if you are staying at this Villa.
Umberto and his staff were all very helpful and charming. The house was a magnificent 200 year old shooting lodge with lots of character and history. The Superior room was beautiful, cool and airy and very comfortable.
perfect location, view, garden, pool and breakfast we have got a lovely country room I can recommend to everyone
location was lovely, green and quiet , friendly staff especially the manager and his wife, outdoor swimming pool at the edge with great view. Casalecchi hotel the perfect place to spend a vacation days to clear your mind and to relieve stress.
Beautiful site - villa, pool, view. The staff was wonderful, they helped plan our day, attended to every need and accommodated our changes with no issue.
The Wi-Fi is spotty
Very warmly welcomed and the staff always made us feel as if nothing was too much. Stunning views and close to a gorgeous village with amazing restaurants. A brilliant base for exploring the tuscan cities whilst having a haven to go back to. We will definitely go back.
Nice portieer, beautiful landscapes and good pool. Breakfast was good.
Too expensive compared to service and room. Ants in bed.

Looks a little old. The room are nice but nor more than that. If you do not have a car you will need to walk for over 20 min to the village. Their restaurant is closed.
