Breakfast is the only meal available although a good restaurant is only 300 metres away. (This of course has its benefits in making you get out and about.) Perhaps a kettle in the room after a long day out would be nice since if you wish to relax in the room with a cup of tea, room service will be necessary which adds up quickly. The beaches are a little ordinary compared with those around Ancona, over an hour's drive away, although they are sandy. We found it a little hard to find the hotel's beachfront at first from the instructions given, as the hotel is located in a little village. Once you know where it is, it is relatively straightforward to park during the week and is only a ten minute drive, although the hotel supplies bikes. Although Bologna and Urbino are wonderful indeed and Pescara is quite pretty, I am not sure whether the area would have enough to offer in general to revisit, although this has nothing to do with the hotel. None of these are criticisms but merely observations since the hotel went out of their way to make our stay extremely pleasant. They were always so cheerful - we had a lovely holiday, thank you.
The staff could not have been more charming, welcoming, helpful, pleasant and kind. They were exceptional, which made the holiday, in my view. The views of the surrounding area and its setting were beautiful. The room and bathroom clean and well maintained. The freshness and variety of the food at breakfast wonderful.
