Hotel Alexander Museum Palace is right on the seaside in Pesaro. A great piece of contemporary architecture, it was designed by Arnaldo and Giò Pomodoro, Mimmo Paladino, Chia and others.
Score from 330 reviews Very good
Federico was amazing! Most helpful and lovely concierge to be greeted by and helped us immensely throughout our stay.
The location of this hotel is perfect for wonderful views, superb surroundings and general peace and quiet. The staff are excellent, being attentive and helpful but also discreet.
Excellent breakfast buffet Very clean and the staff was very friendly
Location was in the country side with beautiful views of the vineyards and olives groves. The pool area and gardens are just beautiful. Perfect Italian Villa feel. You can walk to a nearby resturant or go 15 minutes by car into town and the waterfront.
The room was clean and met all our needs although nothing special and could use a bit of decoration update.
Location, good swimming pool. Excellent restaurant opposite
Everything was perfect, not too crowded during the day at the pool as most people went out.
No Restaurant, would be a bit stuck without a car.
The staff could not have been more charming, welcoming, helpful, pleasant and kind. They were exceptional, which made the holiday, in my view. The views of the surrounding area and its setting were beautiful. The room and bathroom clean and well maintained. The freshness and variety of the food at breakfast wonderful.
Breakfast is the only meal available although a good restaurant is only 300 metres away. (This of course has its benefits in making you get out and about.) Perhaps a kettle in the room after a long day out would be nice since if you wish to relax in the room with a cup of tea, room service will be necessary which adds up quickly. The beaches are a little ordinary compared with those around Ancona, over an hour's drive away, although they are sandy. We found it a little hard to find the hotel's beachfront at first from the instructions given, as the hotel is located in a little village. Once you know where it is, it is relatively straightforward to park during the week and is only a ten minute drive, although the hotel supplies bikes. Although Bologna and Urbino are wonderful indeed and Pescara is quite pretty, I am not sure whether the area would have enough to offer in general to revisit, although this has nothing to do with the hotel. None of these are criticisms but merely observations since the hotel went out of their way to make our stay extremely pleasant. They were always so cheerful - we had a lovely holiday, thank you.
Lovely old villa surrounded by garden and lots of wildlife. Staff fantastic and very friendly. Beautiful peaceful place, great for switching off and relaxing. Great pool which we often had to ourselves. Huge balcony on a junior suite in neighbouring building, corner room with great view. Very reasonable prices across the board. Breakfasts were full of local goodies and good choice of coffee. Local pizza place a 5 minute walk away was good. Also lots of restaurants in local villages usually just a short drive away.
Room decoration was somewhat old fashioned and dark. Looked in reality quite different from the impression given by the photos on booking. The two mattresses pushed together were annoying in their tendency to seperate during the night. Bathroom was basic.
The friendliness of the staff. The settings and surroundings of the hotel and location were amazing. Also an awesome breakfast. This was our second visit to Villa Cattani Stuart and we will definitely be ruturning again next year. Excellent place for a quiet relaxed getaway!!!! Highly recommend it to anyone!!
Beautiful and relaxing! Close enough to the beach while still a mountain villa retreat!
This was our second visit to the Villa Cattani Stuart. Beautiful location, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Nice pool. We would love to come back again.
From reception to dining room, staff was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. Hotel and grounds were spotless and beautiful. Enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend.
Villa Cattani is in a delightful part of Marche, and the garden and pool are charming.
Do not expect to stay in the old villa. The hotel is actually a modern block built alongside.
Location / views / staff friendly/ good local restaurant
Beautiful gardens, quiet area away from crowds, immaculately kept inside and out, plenty of parking space, friendly and helpful staff.
Location , garden , old villa
Rooms in a new different from the villa building in the garden, decorated internaly with expensive and good quality materials but with poor charm and fantasy.
