Lovely rustic charming appearance inside and outside. Very friendly helpful staff (especially reception staff). Beautiful rural surroundings. Abundance of notable Tuscan towns and villages within easy driving distance.

Couldn't easily walk to any outside facilities (though we knew this before booking). No shower in en suite (bath only).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were full of character and the grounds lovely and very well maintained. Breakfast was of a high quality. Kettles in bedrooms would also add a nice touch.

The evenning meal was quite expensive and the price did not match the quality. Speaking to other guests, they appeared to be of a similar view. I would recommend to reduce the price and provide more of a local, wholesome Tuscan menu which I am sure would attract more custom. We paid a reduced price for the stay which I thought was a fair price but would not have wanted to have paid the full rate.

The Villa, rooms, gardens and swimming pool were excellent. The breakfast / dinner was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stop again and recommend the hotel to my friends and family

Fabulous pool, excellent food, stunning views, very comfortable room.

An incredible setting. Think about a glass of wine by a pool with a vanishing edge overlooking a beautiful valley surrounded by lush gardens. The restaraunt was so wonderful with great food and staff.

The location and the ambiance of the hotel were fantastic. The room and the bathroom were spacious and with a lot of charater that we loved. The entire property was very beautiful and providing charming "tuscan" feel. We also extremely enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. Particularly we enjoyed very much the impecable service of the waiter, Daniele, who not only made our dining experience very pleasant, but also thanks to his advise, and information about the area we were able to access interesting sites and enjoy very good wineries.

We did not have any dislikes about the hotel. Perhaps we can share a comment that our unit which was on the second floor would be very difficult to access by older persons as there was no elevator. Hold on to the railing climbing the old stairs!

O hotel e fantastico em todos os aspectos! O quarto e amplo e decorado com as tradicoes da Toscana com extremo bom gosto e cuidado..A Vista das montanhas ao redor de Montepulciano e fantastica. O restaurante e requintado e com preco justo. Recomendo fortemente a estadia a qualquer epoca, mas principalmente no verao onde a piscina com borda infinita para as montanhas e um espetaculo a parte.

Ha necessidade de ter um carro para se visitar a cidade de Montepulciano.

O café da manhã é excelente, com geléias naturais preparadas no próprio hotel. A localização, embora um pouco afastada da cidade de Montepulciano, torna o lcoal do hotel bastante agradável. Rita de Cassia e Marcelo

Esplêndido.... Um lugar especial, com vista para os campos da Toscana. Casa histórica, confortável, serviço de quarto impecável, café da manhã mais que completo, ampla área externa, tudo muito bem cuidado. E perto do centro da cidade. Imperdível. Vale o preço.

In a word, stunning. We loved Villa Cicolina and can't wait to return. This hotel is a gem and we hope it doesn't change one bit!
