Beautiful hotel in lovely Lucca. huge well appointed room, very tastefully decorated. Pool and outside area would be lovely in summer. It is a bit out of town, so you do need a car. Make sure you check-in before their reception desk closes for the night as they are not there 24/7!! Good value for money. Best breakfast on whole trip. :-) |

Location was great! Our accomodation to begin with was bad. There were 4 of us 2 adults and 2 girls aged 14 and they put us in 1 room....very squashed...and if we had not complained we would have been charged Euro 600 for 3 nights all squashed together..... |

Pool area was ok and it was good that you could buy food and drinks there though foods are microwave oven stuff. The hotel is near road and there was trafficnoise. There was a bad smell in room. Shower was too small and there was not water coming properly. Hotel is in walking distance to city centre but it was difficult to get taxi back at evenings. The area around the hotel is not very idyllic. |

Good location for walking to Lucca. Bonus having a pool. Small rooms and very small shower cubicle. Noise travelled between rooms - could easily hear the tv in the room next door. |

Friendliness & helpfulness of staff. Breakfast by the pool was lovely!Location was great -in a rural position but only a 15min walk from the city walls of Lucca. Beautifully furnished accommodation: lovely swimming pool. Plenty of seating around pool. Wish we could have stayed longer! My only criticism is that we had a 2 bed apt and only one room was air-conditioned. Had to borrow a fan. A bin near the kitchenette would have been useful. Only had a small one in bathroom |

The breakfast was good - the people very friendly - the pool was very nice because of the hot weather - we got a 10 Euro discount because of non working air-condition - not far from the center of lucca the air condition in the room didn't work - the swimming pool wasn't 100% clean |

For us it was perfect, loved the fact that we could hire a bike and go around town... the swimming pool was ideal for resting and get a good tan. Lovely decoration on our room which was on the first floor. Air condition did not work one night, the lunch there is not the greatest. Could have too many childrens at once as the spot is perfect for families. |

This place was a great retreat! It has a lot of character, the breakfast was decent, and it had a great outdoor area. My husband and I really enjoyed the pool and a good place to relax since this was about midway through our trip around Europe. As you walk into town there is also a really good pizza place on your left. It's the first restaurant I think you pass after the railroad tracks. The only thing that I would recommend is take a taxi from the train station. It's too far of walk with luggage as it is on the edge of town. The room we had was also a little dark during the day, but really who is going to spend that much time in the room during the day anyway especially when Lucca is such a neat place! |
