Villa Cortine Palace Hotel  

The room was lovely and comfortable. The view from our room was breathtaking. Location and grounds were beautiful.

The hotel philosophy was from the 1950's and I felt there were way too many male staff around, some doing very little but expecting tips. The breakfast was not so great; tons of food but the egg station attendant could not cook an egg. It was kind of stuffy, I prefer more of a relaxed hotel. We only stayed one night for a splurge but I wished I would have stayed at our other hotel in Sirmione instead and saved my euros. It was just ok.

We loved the fact that, although beautifully formal and nicely turned out, the staff were so friendly and good humoured. They could enjoy a joke and were always so helpful. In my opinion, no matter how beautiful a place is, the staff can make or break it, the staff at the Cortine Palace made it, from the young staff at the Lido restaurant to those in the main hotel, they could not have been more pleasant. The situation, of course, was beautiful, as was the comfort and peace, all in all I can't wait to return.

Outstanding location and the garden

Die Ruhe im Vergleich zur Umgebung (Altstadt Sirmione) aber sehr nah gelegen und zu Fuß erreichbar.

Die Erneuerungen am Gebäude passen nicht zum alten Stil.

Diese traumhafte Lage im wunderschönen gepflegten Park. Die Möglichkeit den Pool, das Pier zu benutzen. Die Ruhe, trotzdem nahe der Altstadt von Sirmione. Die Sicherheitsvorkehrungen rundum. Das gediegene Ambiente, die herzhafte, aufrichtige, gut geschulte Aura des ganzen Personals es war einfach wunderschön. Die Möglichkeiten innerhalb des Hotels überall gediegen und auch in Freizeitkleidung zu Essen, Trinken etc. Ein riesen grosses Kompliment an die Hotelführung und das ganze Team. Haben den Aufenthalt um 1 Nacht (4 Nächte) verlängert.

Es wäre etwas angenehmer, wenn es in den Douchen- Bädern Mischbatterien für's Wasser gäbe !

Hotel situe dans un magnifique parc, grandiose........ Avec des cypres centenaires mais chambres-suite un peu viellottes par le prix demandé. Excellent service. Etape gastronomique. Proprete extra. , mais proximite de Verone pour opéras dans les arenes tres aprecié par une autoroute très proche. A recommander pour couple

Chambre ... mini suite ....... mobilier tres viellot, attende d une decoration un peu plus luxeuse pour le prix demandé....... Bouteille d'eau minérale manquante pour l'arrivée.

Tolle Lage hinter der Altstadt von Sirmione- alte Villa in einem schönen Park- alle Mahlzeiten konnten auf der wunderschönen Terrasse eingenommen werden-eigener Badesteg am See- schöner Pool- ruhige Lage- bitte beachten am Wochenende und vor Feiertagen ist die Zufahrt zum Hotel mit dem pkw nicht immer möglich, da man durch die Altstadt von Sirmione fahren muss- schönes Hotel zum relaxen

Für uns war es perfekt

Sehr nette Begrüssung, standesgemäsen Empfang alla 5 Sterne. Wunderschöne,ruhige Lage. Gutes Frühstückbuffet

Im Badzimmer aber nur dort hört man die Nachbarn wenn sie auf dem wc sind.

Wunderschön eingerichtete Suite,einmalig schöner Park,gute Bademöglichkeit im Gardasee.

We have been to this hotel 6 times over a period of twenty years. It therefore has nostalgic appeal besides being very accessible to Verona where we attend the opera in the Roman arena. The hotel has changed considerably both in clientele and services but still retains a great deal of charm.

The hotel has lost some of its exclusivity and there is evidence of quite a lot of cost cutting to go with it. In fairness the room rate is also considerably lower than it used to be.
