Hotel Villa d'Amato offers comfortable accommodations and a peaceful atmosphere in a tranquil area overlooking the sea. It is set just 2.5 miles from the center of Palermo. The Art-Nouveau building dates back to the early 20th century, and includes a modern wing. Rooms at the Amato come with a sea or view of the grounds, and some have a balcony. Very nice hotel. Big parking at the back of the Hotel. Sea view from first floor (room 224). Bus stop in front of hotel. Poor quality and expensive restaurant. I did not quite like the breakfast buffet. The room where it is served was not to my taste. Besides, the quality of the food do not meet international standards. Location a bit far out of town center (5kms). Rooms were a bit too warm inside. No international tv channels on offer.

The staff was very nice, they speak English (sometimes this is very important) and very helpful.The room was well furnitured, and the views from the window were beautiful. It is close to a bus stop that takes you to downtown so you can leave the car in the parking and visit Palermo without thinking about the traffic jams and the parking. I don't know what happened with our room, even though the bathroom was clean, there were a lot of hairs on the floor.

The room was small but clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful to me although they spoke no English (I speak Italian a bit.) For me the location was ideal although it's not that close to town. It is a short bus ride to the centro storico. They have relatively large grounds in the back with a nice parking area. I really can't think of a single thing wrong with this place.

Camera ampia e soggiorno con divanetto . Parcheggio privato dell'hotel Le reti del materesso ( camera 205) !! Ad ogni minimo movimento scricchiolavano; abbiamo passato due notti ..insonni.

De nachtportier spreekt geen Engels. Dus als je zoals wij om 6.30 uur naar het vliegveld moet is het lastig uitleggen dat de betaling de vorige avond al is geregeld.

Camera grande, pulita, con balcone. Staff cordialie e disponibile. Ottima cucina nell'hotel ma la formula a pensione nasconde una sorpresa, non si riferisce da una cena completa (ed in fase di acquisto non viene riportato). Il fatto che la mezza pensione (pagata anticipatamente) non sia una cena completa ma parziale.

Das Hotel war sehr gut zu finden und hatte einen großen Parkplatz. Eine Bushaltestelle ist in der Nähe, um in die Innenstadt von Palermo zu gelangen. (Wir sind gerne zu Fuß gelaufen, bei Stau auch nicht schlecht!) Zimmerausstattung und Größe waren prima. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich uns ein Zimmer zur Meerseite nehmen, wegen der stark befahrene Straße.

La camera situata nella parte nuova dell'hotel era molto carina anche se non particolarmente grande. Sempre comodissimo l'ampio parcheggio gratuito. Qualche mensola nel bagno lo renderebbe più comodo!

Não gostei, por esta razão fomos embora no mesmo dia p/ San Paolo Palace. Não gostei de nada, as fotos não representam a realidade. Booking não deveria indicá-lo.

Giudizio negativo in quanto abbiamo trovato la camera sporca soprattutto il frigo bar vuoto con insetti morti dentro , l,apparecchio del condizionatore non funzionante . Mancanza di wi-fi ed elenco prezzi e dei numeri telefonici utili dell'albergo

Ubicación, sin estar céntrico, es un lugar con buenas conexiones, con el problema del caótico tránsito palermitano. Buena calidad del desayuno y facilidad de llegar a la autopista que conecta Palermo con distintos sitios No había conexión wi-fi en las habitaciones y si bien la reserva decía que nos debían ubicar en el ala nueva del hotel, estuvimos en el ala vieja y no teníamos cama matrimonial.

Netjes hotel, goed ontbijtbuffet, goede (stads)busverbinding. Ligging (kamers voorzijde) aan zéér drukke weg. Tuin en terras achter verwaarloosd (ziet er heel anders uit dan de foto's op internet en folder).
