Situated close to the sea and not far away from the historic city centre, Hotel Villa D'Amato provides all you need for a relaxing stay in the capital of Sicily.

The hotel is housed in a liberty building dating from the turn of the 20th century, and features wide and comfortable spaces that are enhanced by a beautiful garden of palm trees and flowers. Rooms are very attractive, thanks to the D'Amato family that for many years have made hospitality their business, and thanks to top-quality comforts and services, among the best that a 3-star hotel in Palermo can offer. Some rooms also provide beautiful views of the garden and the sea. Free parking is available for all guests.

Because of its quiet location in front of the sea, just 10 minutes from the city centre, the hotel is the ideal starting point from which to discover this historic city.

The hotel is also the ideal place to organize meetings and events, thanks to a charming summer garden and to the 2 large all-purpose rooms: the Airone, with 200 m² floor space and a seating capacity for up to 160; and the Nicolò, which can be dimmed for projections, with 100m² floor space for up to 70 people.

The 37 rooms of Hotel Villa D'Amato are bright and spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay in Palermo.

They are decorated in a pleasant and classic style and are available as Single, Double and Master rooms (with a third additional bed).
Some rooms have sea view and others have garden view. Some rooms have balconies. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower where guests will find a convenient courtesy beauty kit.

Area information

Hotel Villa D'Amato is located 3 km from the centre of Palermo, in front of the sea, and is the perfect starting point to discover this historic city and the surrounding areas.

You can get to the centre in 10 minutes by car, and if you take the bus, (the bus stop is 30 meters from the hotel) you will reach the central station in 15 minutes. Then, by taking Via Maqueda you will reach the city centre, full of historical and artistic landmarks testifying to cultures that have made a mark here: from the Greek to the Byzantine, the Arabs and the Normans, the French and the Spanish, the Hapsburgs and the Kingdom of Italy, and the splendid Liberty and Theater movement. The refined style of palaces and churches are a counterpoint to the popular nature of the markets (Vucciria, Capo, Ballarò, Borgo Vecchio) and the narrow streets with a succession of alleys and suggestive corners. Just as pleasant are the strolls by shops and boutiques of Via Ruggiero VII and Via della Libertà. As soon as you are out of the city you may enjoy the beautiful beaches of Mondello, the splendid Duomo di Monreale and the Natural Reserve of Monte Pellegrino.

The big balcony with a view of the park is great. Food at the restaurant is good.

Location. If you want to take a bus from/to the central station you'll probably have to wait a long time for it to come.

hotel itself was very nice, rooms were a good size and standard, and view from sew view window was lovely. staff were helpful, although one or two of them need to learn how to smile.

not the double bed that was requested, and it was impossible to push the 2 singles together properly, room was close to reception and as a result you heard all of related noise, hotels location although perfect for our needs, would not be suitable for most as is a couple miles from centre of palermo.

You can go local nice Seafood restraunt by walk. Hotel area is not really not shopping area but if you like local atomosphere, you can enjoy.

Breakfast is very very poor.We wnet to off season but i saw amny visitor but foods are run out. It took 10 min to serve coffee.

The staff are very kindly and helpfull. They speak english, someone better than others. The food in restaurant was very good and the service too. The room was very good, good view to the sea and a good size.

The breakfast could be better. The coffee was cold 3 of 7 days. The bar must be oppened longer in the evening and chairs in the bar will also be good. The hotel is so far away from the city centre, ca. 4 km.

No se corresponden las fotografias con la realidad del hotel. El personal bastante antipático. No se podía acceder a nuestra habitación en ascensor y tuvimos que hacerlo andando y cargar con las maletas sin que nos ayudaran. No funcionaba el aire acondicionado. Está lejos de la playa y del centro. El desayuno bastante pobre.
