WI-FI very poor, bad smell in the bath sometime.

the hotel is very nice cleane and breakfast is lovly very recomended

they dont have an elevator if your not staying in ground floor you have to climb floors by foot

Amazing views, wonderful, peaceful environment

Advertised as having shuttle service from Castelgandolfo station and to Ciampino airport: when we enquired re airport shuttle we were told they didn't go that far but would organise a taxi for us. As we were looking forward to an enjoyable stay, airport was only 10km away and we did not envisage an expensive taxi, we did not argue the point! We were given our room, last one on a corridor in which workmen were busy renovating neighbouring rooms: they were hammering away at 9.45pm until I complained to the builder. The smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming as doors were left open. Our room was very small, overlooked a yard and our specifications on booking were ignored! Our room had obviously been a smoking one (ashtray present and smell of smoke) and single bed preference not respected. The hotel seems to be a hub for airline crew as we witnessed two shuttle trips to airport during that evening. Obviously some differing rules!Dinner was ok, if pricey. The following morning, taxi duly arrived, driver went into reception to talk to receptionist, took us to airport - a 15 min, 10 km drive, where he then tried to scam us: meter stated 40 euros, which I refused to pay as it was on 22 before we left the hotel. Driver then said no, the charge was 35 euros as agreed with his "colleague!" - when questioned, he admitted his colleague was the hotel - nice scam going on! I sent him packing, in fluent Italian, with 20 euros which he sheepishly accepted! I am so angry at this end to a wonderful stay in Italy - where some people feel the need to "do" guests! Last point - having travelled extensively, I would query the 4 star status of this hotel: I have never seen one which offers a hand/shower pump soap rather than individual products - very cheap!

The staff and the owner of the Hotel are so welcoming, helpfull and simpathic that we really had the feeling our stay in villa del angelli was too short. The 2 receptionists are beutiful and very helpfull and speak fluent english :-) I highly recommend this hotel and in case we return to Italy I will surelly plan to return to this hotel.

I liked: lake, pool, breakfast and dinner, a comfortable room.

The restaurant is very good. Very delicious! Friendly atmosphere, beautiful n romantic view !!

The customer service was excellant, they made our short trip very enjoyable and could not do enough to help. There is stunning views and lovely sights to see. The food was delicious.

The beautiful lakeside view and the friendly staff. Breakfast was a positive surprise, better than average Italy hotels.

Not optimal to have the pool closed daytime during weekends. Even if breakfast was good, we still did not experience any morning during our 7 days stay where the bread was frish. It tended to be dry.

A nice hotel in a glorious location, seriously compromised by management that is dedicated to the pursuit of event orientated functions.

In 13 nights there were 8 nights during which events, mostly weddings were scheduled. On these occasions certain facilities to paying guests were off limits ie swimming pool and in some cases the restaurant. Having a lake view balcony also became meaningless due to party noise. A dreadful experience.

Location, friendly staff

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. It's near Rome and both of its airports but it's still out in the country and so is quiet. It's an average sized hotel, with a pool, free wifi and parking, and easy acess to the lake. The room was small but adequate, the breakfast was great and I had a really nice relaxing time.

Dog friendly hotel , we could even take our dog into the room ! verry clean . Easy to go visiting Roma ,

Le week-end: mariages, donc une partie de l'hotel interdite et surtout du brut jusqu'à 2heures du mat MAis ils ont été gentils, ils nous ont changé de chambres (en fait, 3 fois en 3 jours)...

La struttura è vecchiotta, avrebbe bisogno di parecchia manutenzione. Abbiamo trovato nel frigobar delle bevande scadute e insetti in stanza. Non ci ritornerei e non la consiglierei

Check in alle 17 e la stanza era ancora da pulire. Mini televisione con pochi canali. Il buffet della colazione sempre più scarno (probabilmente in funzione del numero degli ospiti, il primo giorno c'erano torte pane fresco salumi, il terzo niente piú torte e il pane lasciava a desiderare, l'ultimo bisognava chiedere tutto espressamente persino le brioche)

au lieu 3 lit ,jai eu un grand lit et un petit . la chambre est glacée chauffeé par un petit radiateur!!!!!!odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain.

Posizione ed eleganza della struttura

Camera poco confortevole in tutto (letto, bagno, finestre)

ottima posizione, camere un po' piccole ma comode.
