The staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything necessary to make our stay a pleasant one. The Villa Edera's location on Lido is two minutes from the Waterbus stop - ideal when you wish to escape the hustle and bustle after a day in Venice itself. Lido had a lovely "neighbourhood" feel to it with all the locals meeting up for Campari in the evening. Highly recommended. |

Closeness to Vaporetta stop Breakfast pretty basic. Sometimes nothing left and staff had to be prompted to fill empty bowls, jugs etc |

Helpful staff, good sized room, plenty of breakfast til 9.30, good location close to vaporetto. The cleaners started hoovering at about 8am, so no chance of a lie in! We went down to breakfast at 9.15am one morning and found our room being cleaned on our return! Far too early! The walls are really thin so you can hear all the early risers next door! So good for families who get up early but not anyone else! |

It is a wonderfull place in a beautifull area, very, very close to the station. It is perfect and a better choice than a hotel in the heart of Venice! Staff was extremly helpful, breakfast - tasty, clean room, exelent choice!!! It was great luck to stay there! |

The staff were friendly and helpful and it was in a good location close to the vaporetta stop and only a five minute walk to the beach. The bedroom was very small |

My wife and I enjoyed the hotel. It is quiet and comfortable, the room is neat, a good place to come back to after a long day in Venice, excellent location, easy to find, near the boat station. Elegent and good breakfast. |

Its location in Lido/Venice, close to the marvellous beach, is excellent. There is an easy vaporetto-transportation available to the city center of Venice and even to the airport. The room with its small balcony and bathroom were very clean and nicely decorated in venetian style. I travelled together with my adult daughter.( Please add to the chapter 4. ("About your stay") the now lacking category "a parent with mature child". The regular breakfast could have been bigger. I think there was a possibility to order and pay for some extra. |

Guest is not particularly made welcome - I was obliged to pay upfront, when I arrived, although the hotel had my credit card number including security code; on the day before I left, I was asked, whether I would not consider checking out before 8 o´clock! Coffee extremly bad! |

A convenient and comfortably economic hotel in an expensive tourist venue. Arguably the world's most attractive city. |

Staff, cleaning, position on the lido di Venzia Breakfest has no bacon or ham except one day in the week.I especially didn't like the fact that if you want to pay with credit card they will charge you 1.5%; they don't mention this when you make the reservation; you will find this only when you get there!!! |

The hotel is quite simple with no frills. The rooms are small but pleasantly decorated and comfortable. Breakfast errs on the Germanic but is nonetheless wholesome and very enjoyable on the terrace. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were most attentive, helpful and friendly. |

1. Excellent Breakfast 2. Fantastic Location 3. Friendly Staff 4. Excellent Value for Money The rooms were a bit small and the furnitures are a bit garish .. but for the money I was paying it was worth it. The rooms are clean.. But how come there were human hairs still lying about in the basin. |

The villa was in very good condition, offered good value and close to the transport points. The Lido in Venice was an excellent area to stay in with convenient and reasonable restaurants located close by. I would have liked more variety in breakfast foods, especially to have fruit and muesli available. |

The location--close enough to Venice and easy to get in and out of the city--Lido, where the hotel is located, is very peaceful, beautiful and has great restaurants. I liked eating outdoors for the breakfast, but since they allow smoking out there it did not happen for me--non smoking policy should cover the public areas inside and out. |
