The hotel was very nice. The room was large and clean, and the hotel was located in a residential area so it was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff at Villa Elda was fabulous!! Erika made us feel so welcome when we arrived and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The reception staff were all very gracious and helpful during our stay. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood and a perfect little walk to the center of town.

We were treated very well, surprised with a bouquet of flowers and chocolates and the gal at the front desk made dinner reservations at a fabulous restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for close proximity to the walled city, and within walking distance. No vehicle required once you park your car.

Villa Elda is a great place to stay if you are visiting Siena. Although it is only a short walk from the old city, it is in a quiet location and there is plenty of on street parking, making it very convenient if you are driving. The hotel itself is very charming, with a nice garden where you can sit and have a drink or just enjoy a quiet read. Our room was comfortably large, spotlessly clean and the staff was wonderfully accomodating. Barbara, who manned the desk for most of our visit, was extremely friendly and her restaurant recommendation resulted in one of the best meals ever! For our money, Siena was the most enjoyable city to visit in Tuscany: big enough to have many interesting sights, but not as crowded and frantic as Florence. It also seemed very safe, with well lit streets and always enough people around so you never felt like there would be any trouble. We will definitely stay at Villa Elda again if we are lucky enough to return.

Good, quiet location - a 10-15 minute walk from the heart of town. Free street parking was a big plus ... location is ideal for those with a car. Decent breakfast with good coffee. Spacious rooms with high ceilings. Very helpful staff. Walls are thin and as our room was close to the stairs we would wake up whenever guests were climbing stairs late at night. Also, ac is not a traditional blower but from the floor so doesn't cool the room as well. But overall, the pluses outweighed the minuses and we would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a lovely Tuscanian House and the staff is very friendly. Internet is available for free and the breakfast is very good.. It is not far from the city main turist attractions. My only complaint is the checkout time which is 10.30 am, too early compared to most hotels in the area whose check out is 12:00 pm..

- Breakfast with good Cappuccino served at the Garden is Brilliant. - Good Location with our car just park cross the road. - Clean & Comfortable Room & Helpful Staff - 15 minutes walking distance to the Tour Centre. - Good Value for a Double room but Pricy for a Panoramic room (we stay in both rooms with our friends) The Air Conditioning system under the floor does not work very efficiently. Would recommend you to pay more for a Panoramic View room if you want your room being equipped with an air-conditioner.

My wife and were vacationing for our 50th anniversary. The Villa Elda was wonderful! Friendly, pleasant, and helpful staff. Impeccably clean room and throughout hotel. Beautiful, panoramic view from rooftop terrace. Nice breakfast of cereals, ham, cheese, pastries, juice, and coffee fixed fresh any way you enjoy it. There was nothing we did not like.

The staff provided exceptional service and advice about Sienna and the surrounding area'S. Veronica, Barbara and Elda were great host's The hotel is located in a high end neighborhood with very expensive residences thus making it a very safe and quite area. The walk to the city is a leisurely 10 min walk so the location was great...We would stay there again for sure. Nothing, all good.Could use a lift but not a big deal for us at all.

We liked the proximity of the town centre on foot as well as the quiet location. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the garden. The staff were all pleasant and the receptionist on duty on our arrival day was outstanding. It was also interesting to meet the owner of the Villa. The roof-top terrace was scruffy and the door onto it was bolted and difficult to open as well as being noisy when anyone went up there at night.

The people were very helpful and accommodating. The location is far enough out to be quiet, without being too hard to reach central Siena. It was frequently difficult to access the internet, and the staff weren't all that knowledgeable about how to solve the problem, though they were sincerely concerned with making sure we received full value for our payment.

Really friendly and helpful staff, they sorted out quite a few things for us. Fantastic roof top terrace where you can sit and look over the panorma of the city. Was literally not even a 10 min walk from the old town and in a lovely quiet residential area. Breakfast was served in the lovely garden. Nicely decorated, fresh room. Excellent rate in comparison with similar hotels in the area.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and location of this hotel. It was so handy for exploring Siena from and the surrounding countryside. The staff were extremely polite and friendly and were always there to give us information about where to go and sightsee and the best places to eat. When I go back to Siena I will most definitely book here again.

Villa Elda's location just outside the City made our stay in Siena (a busy town) calmer. This quiet hotel within 10 minutes walk of the Duomo and Il Campo gave us a the opportunity to recharge in the garden with a cool drink. Fantastic staff - extremely helpful. There are some rooms on the ground floor near the reception area that are pleasant enough but not as quiet as it could be. Better rooms with panoramic views of the old city are on the second floor albeit slightly pricier.
