Hotel Villa Favorita

the food was very good. staff were friendly. hotel is an oasis in marsala.the pool we had to ourselves.

the location was poor as a car is a must.eating out can prove hard as there are few places to eat in town. the sites were closed to public.no beach area at all.

We liked the Igloo style rooms, very private and more space thean a normal room. The parking and pool area was good.

There was nowhere to eat during the day. The restaurant was only open on certain evenings and because we stayed over a bank holiday weekend it meant we had to drive out, quite far, to enable us to find food. It was also a long way from the town centre, not walkable.

Receptionist brusque and unhelpful. By chance we learned restaurant closed that night, he did not know status for following night. Offered no help to find restaurant despite being a difficult city to find restaurants. Failed in promise to brief taxi driver on our needs. Hence cut short stay. He did not ask reason for curtailment-only interested in checking rules for penalty charge re cancellat'n

Most of the personel working there where so nice, helpful and friendly especially the men working in at the breakfastbuffe, but the people in the reception where not very helpful and you always got the feeling that you where bothering them, even when we asked to be checked out!! The hotel was otherwise lovely and I will definitly go back there again.The restaurant was great, the food suberb.

Some of the staff (reception) should take a course in how to be serviceminded since they always made us feel like we where disturbing/interupting them whenever we needed to speak to them.

The man at the front desk was very kind and even ordered a pizza for us since our family arrived too late for dinner.

Tout était parfait,calme assuré,petit déjeuner trés copieux,personnel agréable,décor de réve piscine +++ jardin +++ à recommander pour un prix raisonnable.

Villa Favorita is een complex met een prachtig zwembad.'s ochtends wordt er een uitstekend ontbijt geserveerd op het binnenplein.

De bungalows hebben een onhandige douche. De keuze was op Marsala gevallen vanwege de nabijheid van het vliegveld Trapani. De stad Marsala heeft echter 's avonds geen gezellig centrum en geen enkel restaurant dat nog open is, behalve villa Favorita. Dit restaurant is echter zeer formeel en prijzig.

Séjour excellent ! Petit regret car pour changer, nous avions opté pour la formule bungalow or que les chambres devaient être magnifiques. Mais la formule bungalow est orignale et cet hôtel est de toute façon à recommander. Nourriture soignée et personnel disponible.

Nous devions quitté l'hôtel à 06h pour l'aéroport. Nous n'avons pu avoir la moindre petite collation ni même un café ! or le petit déjeûner était compris dans le prix de la location. Nous avons déjà connu semblable situation et un petit panier nous avait été donné. Dommage ... un effort est à faire de ce côté-là.
