I asked to be moved after the first night as there were high winds and the balcony doors rattled all night, the room was tiny and smelt of bad drains, we were in the annex although I had booked for the main hotel. The receptionist was less than helpful, showing me small rooms with worse views. We were moved after an invasion of ants on the second night and given an upgrade to a larger room, but had little sleep for 2 of the 5 nights. Some of the staff need customer service training.
The pool is not heated so although it was warm enough to sunbathe on a couple of days we could not use the pool.
Positano is delightful, the views from the hotel were spectacular, especially the roof top pool, the restaurant was very good but a little expensive. The breakfast was good and Franco the waiter excellent.
