The welcome from and the helpfulness of the staff was exemplary! The sea view from the terrace and swimming pool was magnificent. The breakfasts were very good. The free loan of beach umbrellas and beach mats was a useful and much appreciated facility. Apart from in the restaurant (see below) our stay was a lovely and memorable experience. The standard of the restaurant dinner was poor in both quality and value. In particular, the main course could best be described as stodgy, unimaginative "peasant fare". This is a great pity as the food in the many Cala Gonone restaurants is also pretty bad - a total rip-off in fact, and the appointment of an adequately trained chef at the Hotel Villa Gustui Maris would quickly fill the many empty spaces in the resturant. |

Excellent location with a brilliant view over the sea. Nice to spend the end of the day at the swimming pool. All the employees were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast it's excellent, but unfortunately the cappuccino it's not included. Include the cappuccino at the breakfast, the day has a new and brighter begging. |

The hotel has by far the best setting in Cala Gonone - fantastic views over the Golfo di Orosei, with the fantastic swimming pool and terrace to enjoy it. The staff were extremely friendly, well organised and very helpful - offering advice about the area as well as complimentary services and refreshments. |

The hotel staff were great! My girl friend and I were on vacation and the staff took care of us. We even toasted to Sardina one night. It was such a great stay we are looking at doing it again in the near future. |

The staff were great, super friendly and very accomodating. The location and hotel were beautiful. Had fantastic time in sleepy Cala Gonone and returned relaxed, if a little sunburnt. Am loathe to recommend this as highly as I should, as it probably means it'll be booked up when I want to go back next year. Breakfast could have had better, fresher rolls. |

there is a very relaxed ambiance about the hotel perhaps due to the lovely design of the building itself.the hotel staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The hotel is set on a hill which means a hard walk back or driving a car back and forward to the resort centre. |

The staff was very friendly, gave good tips for trips and places to eat. The hotel was at the quiet border of the town, where you could walk to within 10 minutes. |

Relaxing location, fantastic panorama view, very friendly staff. You could here everything from the next room which is annoying. Limited breakfast menu. Rather small room - one have to be prepared to spend holidays outside the room. |

The location of the hotel was perfect, with stunning views of the sea, the coastline and the town. Our room had a balcony with the same amazing view. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. |

The hotel has wonderful views over town and bay so it's worth while upgrading your room to one with a sea view. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good. It's on a hill but close enough to walk into town, about 10 mins. |
