Admire the view of the Gulf of Naples at Hotel Jaccarino. The hotel provides a shuttle service to Sorrento, but you may choose to simply relax at the pool.
Score from 201 reviews Very good
Right across from Sorrento Harbour, the Marina Piccola 73 is just 215 yards from Sorrento’s main square Piazza Tasso. The rooms are elegant and decorated with pastel colors. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Score from 338 reviews Wonderful
Set 2 km from Praiano, this family-run hotel is set on a rocky cliff overlooking a picturesque pebbles beach. All air-conditioned rooms come with flat-screen TV and a sea-view balcony.
Score from 82 reviews Wonderful
This hotel in Sorrento offers a pool and a rooftop terrace overlooking Mount Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples. Sorrento Harbour is about a 15-minute walk away.
Score from 119 reviews Good
the hotel is very chic - dated in some places but chic none the less the staff were friendly I liked the set menu in the restaurant
Wifi was very limited both in terms of strength of signal and availability of connection
Nice place, comfortable rooms, nice view, swimming pool and sun beds )
Not easy to get to the centre, the problem with the city buses. Needs to put carpets on the floor outside the rooms - sometimes it was noisy in the morning. No refrigerator and safe in the room.
The grounds and the hotel are lovely with old world charm and decor to match. Pin drop silence when we stayed there. Conveniently located up the road from one of the beaches on the sea cliffs.
About the only things we didn't like is that parking costs $10 EUR extra, the breakfast was less than inspiring for a hotel that caters to old world charm, and the rate for this type of hotel was on the high side.
Plenty of sun beds & parasols for use round the pool. View from sea view room balcony (3rd floor) was excellent. Staff were polite & helpful. Quality of mid day snacks was extremely good. Wifi only available in lobby but very fast connection.
Breakfast was very limited, was promised fresh fruit every morning but some days only got an apple or a plum. Pool bar was never open. Decor is very dated, shower cubicle was too small, toilet was very high!
Decent shower. Nice sea view. Swimming pool, which we could use after check out. Parking available (much needed). Affordable room.
Parking cost 10€. Towel for the pool cost 3€. Coffee from the machine at breakfast was not worth being called as such. We did get a decent espresso upon request. Room decor a bit old fashioned. we woke up very early from noise from guests in the stair case going to the breakfast room. Our double bed were two singles pushed together.
Getting out of there.
No wifi No safe Tiny rooms Location Getting there Breakfast
Good view of the beach and a nice hidden small bay at walking distance.
Nice pool facilities, hotel is quiet and away from busy Sorrento but close enough by bus.
Bed was hard and not all that comfortable. Bus service from Sorrento was difficult to figure out and taxis were very expensive to the hotel.
No shuttle service to/from Sorrento
everithing except breakfast
the breakfast was very poor. Simple ham and cheese only and lot of cakes. No fruit no tomato,no vegetables.
Pool is actually nice and perfect place to relax.
Breakfast should improve as not so many items to choose. Air conditioning works not properly. Cleaning of the room must be done in the morning. For some reason cleaning was always at 16h00 when we were in the room taking a nap. It's a pity not to have a minifridge in the room
Reception staff were handy. Quiet and relaxing
A bit of a walk into town. There is a bus but it stops running at 10pm and taxis are very expensive. If you dont mind a 20 minute walk then its fine.
I like the staff was friendly. And also the garden, swimming pool andview.
The room was to small and we did not have wardrope. Shower to small .
Did short walk down side of cliff where old Roman ruins remained from the guard house and then went across wooden and wire bridge to The Bar and watched the sunset with a cold drink and returned up the cliff to a very welcoming team at Kalimera restaurant with great food
1 Staff very pleasant and helpful,2 room with balcony,3 location was good but a bit far from town,4 the walk to town was nice but road dangerous with traffic.5Everyone spoke english.
1 The summer season was just starting and the pool was not filled ,2 the local bus route wasn't always available,3 bus tickets were not always in shop.
Sea view, room, surrounding.
Breakfast was a fault!!!
Parking, not in the city center. Need taxi or bus .
bus stop right outside
bus service for getting back to hotel in evenings. Staff never gave you any info so everything was guess work.
View from sea side balcony
Uninterested staff attitude, worst ever breakfast (no fruits, no eggs, no vegetables, only white bread), very noisy, no beach available althought hotel administration claimed it's 20 min from hotel, everything old and uncosy, hotel located behind fuel station
Very good value for the area. It had everything it claimed and a wonderful view, but it seemed to have very careful cost control. There was a bus every 20 minutes to the town, and there was a very good corner shop opposite and a couple of restaurants near by. There was also a trail down to the sea and a beach bar (with food) opposite the hotel (about 10/15 minute walk.)
It was a 30 minute walk to town and the bus did not always run to time. The AC was controlled by reception but they could phoned to turn it on. The food at breakfast was a bit dull and not very nice but there was plenty to eat. During the day/evening there were snacks but not a proper meal (although, there was a simple restaurant opposite and a rather nice one at "Hotel Spicy" about a 100 meters away. Bus tickets and excellent sandwiches at corner shop opposite.
View was great, accommodation was clean, friendly and met our needs.
Dangerous roads and traffic with huge delays and traffic jams.
Fantastic hotel, great views and lovely staff.
A bit of a trek up the hill (for half of the walk there are no footpaths and you have to walk on the road so at nightime was a bit tough - taxis are about 20 euros). But definately worth it to be away from the crowds of tourists and to have such spectacular views
Rooms were clean although some were very basic. Certain desk staff were pleasant. Others gave the impression we were rather in the way.
Restaurant head waiter very rude. Seem to be very chummy with certain guests and extremely abrupt and curt with others. Pool is in dire need of updating as is much of the hotel. First appearances with the hotel situated behind a petrol station didn't exactly get things off to a great start. Internet access only available in lobby.
It is very far to the city center...no way to walk brcause there i no pedestrian road to city cnter existing...taxi would be 25 euro and the bus is 2.5 euro every 30 minutes...Breakfast was very poor...no fruits and very simple stuffs..coffee was terrible..maybe the cheapest coffee ever... No safty box...
Everything else was good
Needs new linen and towels
