Apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfortable and has decent kitchen facilities with a supermarket around the corner for self catering. Also felt very secure.
A little far from the main hub of Florence but close to the tram and bus so this was not a problem.
Close to Tram/Bus & grocery and appeared safe. Quite elegant looking office, yard and imaginative design of the apartment.
Noisy shop (mechanic?) in the same courtyard, such as banging, loud, bike noise, slamming the gate, doors and general loud yelling back & forth. Apartment was cold and due to regulation couldn't be turned on, but THANKS to the helpful staff found remedy for it.
Good price, plenty of rooms and nice grounds
30 minute walk to center, bathroom was inconvenient, 2nd bedroom is a loft over 1st bedroom which means anyone sleeping in loft must walk through 1st bedroom to get to bathroom or living room. A/C didn't work and when inquires was told that's the "hot apartment". What?
The receptionist was very friendly and available, always trying to solve the problems we found. We stayed at Sandra apartment. The room was lovely, spacious (high ceiling) and bright, as was the bathroom. Good decor and confortable. We had a lovely stay.
The "kitchen" was really really small, and it's very difficult to prepare the food, because there in no balcon or table next to the cooking area. It's amazingly small. The dining table is also small, but we could manage. The bed lamps weren't working, but they replaced the lamps on the second day. The MicroWave was also broken, wich limited our cooking options. We had some problems with the parking card, but the lady at the reception tried to solve it as she could, and solved the problem by not charging us for it.
The villa is beautiful and well-kept. It was very clean, as well. It is an neighborhood just outside of the city centre and easily accessible by the tram. TIP: If staying for a few days, make sure you get a tourist tram pass. Great value for the money.
We stayed in the attic apartment, which was clean. The problem was that the roof is slanted, and there are low-hanging wood beams. Regardless of how careful I was, I hit my head at least once a day. The bathroom is small and poorly lit due to the roofing issues. In what is a very unusual comment for me - a first, actually - I believe that the room has an "energy" in it that does not appreciate visitors. It took us a few days to figure this out, and we ultimately ended up staying at another hotel the last night once we put 2 and 2 together.
Very nice surroundings courtyard garden and roof terrace very relaxing. Apartment had everything for a short stay. Unusual kitchen in an old cupboard. But had hob micro wave fridge sink. Could make a small meal. Nothing elaborate. Good location near the tram stop. Supermarket round the corner and a few pizza restaurants near by. Staff very helpful. Washing machine in basement but bring lots of change.
Air con dreadful
Location is convenient Rooms and gardens are lovely
Didnt find the staff particularly hospitable when checking-in with 9 of us. Felt rushed to deal with the formalities Whilst some of the suites can sleep 4, these are essentially in the same room with 2 beds on a mezzanine Both showers were broken Doesnt appear to be possible to reserve a car parking space nearby. You have to find a spare space on nearby roads and fill a meter with coins or pay to use a local car park Requested a baby cot. This was ignored
Clean and comfortable apartment, compliant with what we saw on the pictures beforehand. Nice, very responsive hosts. A cosy and comfortable place for family vacations in Florence - not far from the city centre, nice inner yard and terrace, nice apartments with everything you might need, free WiFi, etc.
Minor communication problems (English language), lack of parking in the apartment, however, the owners have a parking card for a nearby parking space - quite comfortable as well. Not very many catering possibilities around the place, however, two supermarkets nearby as well as a comforatble kitchen in the apartment.
Villa il mosaico is a beautiful piece of Tuscany! The furniture walls and windows are detailed and made us really feel like we were staying in italy. It is a short way out of Florence 10 mins by tram. But don't let that deter you from staying here. It is very direct and only costs 1.20euro per trip. There is also great supermarket around the corner. This has been my favorite accommodation so far on our trip.
The wifi dropped out for a full day. But this was no major. We recommend villa il mosaico to everyone.
Close to the tram which takes you into the centre of town very quickly. Great apartment. Great staff. Very relaxing and comfortable.
Apartment as expected (as shown in the web site: pictures and description). Manager was very kind to show us the apartment and to give us some advices regarding "what to see in Firenze"
staff and terrace
The staff were very helpful, the apartment was neat and clean, and interesting in design, with most of the facilities we could have needed
Air-conditioning needs to be able to reach the upstairs bedroom, which was uncomfortably hot, and the wifi was very erratic if it worked at all. For a luxury apartment, you'd expect these things to be up to scratch.
Close to the tram stop heading into City which was only 5 mins away, rooms are nicely furnished, apartments are close to a supermarket
Unfortunately the rooms had dozens of mosquitoes in them which kept us busy getting rid of them.
Wonderful facility combined with excellent staff. Facility came with a kitchen that was very useful. Would highly recommend this place.
TV didn't work well. Not a big issue but traveling with young kids...minor issue.
The apartments are clean and well-appointed. The outside of the building is very well-kept. The courtyard and roof terrace are beautiful. Monica, the manager, was very helpful and nice.
The location is not great. You either have to take the team or walk a distance. While it's not too far for some people, it is certainly an inconvenience. The air conditioning could be improved.
The room is clean. It is very close to a supermarket. Very convenient location.
A little noisy.
It was very clean and well equipped for a long stay if needed. The courtyard was beautiful and it was a short walk to see the sights. I would stay there again and recommend it highly to anyone visiting Florence.
Nothing, they were excellent.
Modern, spacious rooms & very comfortable beds. Great location, secure, and close to coffee shop, grocery store & tram (to train station).
Check-in was very difficult--most likely due to language barrier (staff spoke very little English). Also, parking was pricey and limited.
Noise from other apartment's
Convenient location on tram line away from downtown
We stayed in the attic - you could only use 25% of the space because the ceiling was so low. This place is a joke. Besides we got eaten by mosquitoes because AC was insufficient for the attic. I advise you - do not rent the attic. room.
All of the above
Height restriction in room
Rooms clean and tidy, 3 minute walk to the tram.
Decorated nicely Nice courtyard Nice room amenities
We never could get on the wi-fi Air conditioner didn't work first night had to keep windows open and got terrible bug bites Had no idea ceiling was so low, never would have booked it if knew that
Host and comfy beds. Apartments are full of character.
Staircase was a hassle with small children.
