A delightful place to stay in all respects. Great location, convenient to Florence and the rest of Tuscany. A delightful staff who were extremely helpful in planning outings (particularly Irene and Lucas). The breakfasts outside on the patio looking over the nearby countryside were wonderful.

Many nice places in and outside the house to read and relax. Nearby Florence. The dinners. The lovely villa and the surroundings. The friendly staff who is always willing to answer questions. The honesty bar. In a villa like this, with all these stairs and no elevator, it would be nice if the staff would help the guests with bringing their luggage to the room.

Beautiful property overlooking valley. Gentle breezes. Clean rooms with adequate space. Delicious dinner buffet and nice breakfast. Lunch menu limited. Helpful and efficient staff. We took our dog and children (13, 12 and 10) and felt that we needed to keep both quiet. Very lovely villa that lends itself to adult guests. I made reservations for two rooms--one through booking.com and one directly with the hotel via their website. When we arrived, they only had one room and thought I did not want two rooms. They should have emailed me to verify. We had to change rooms once with each room during our 6 night stay. I did add extra nights via booking.com which confused them. We spent over 2000 euros and though they worked it out, they made me feel as if it was my error. It was not. I also had said on the reservation that the dog would be with us and they said they were not notified of the dog. I recommend that you verify your reservation prior to arrival.

They overcharged me by 220 euros. Despite being shown the book.com rate and agreeing to issue a refund, after a month they have not made the refund. They do not respond to emails and do not follow through with their commitments. I was not impressed by the facility, the food and certainly not with the service when a problem arose.

This is a beautiful house with lovely romantic rooms. The swimming pool and spa facilities were great. It was disappointing that such an expensive hotel does not have fresh squeezed juice and real Italian coffee for breakfast.

Villa al Poggiale è una dimora molto accogliente, ben qualificato e disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta il personale,abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il ristorante e l'area benessere. Comodissimo per visitare Firenze o Siena ma anche per scorrazzare con le moto su e giù per quelle fantastiche colline. Speriamo di tornarci presto. Meroni A. (COMO)

Die Ruhe, der ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen,das Abendessen und das frühstück auf derr Terrasse,die liebevolle Ausstattung aller Zimmer, das Haus hat viel Charme und wirkommen sicher wieder.haben sie über Silvester geöffnet? Petit dejeuner leger pour un etablissement de ce standing et nbre de places limitees pour dejeuner dehors le matin.. La reservation internet de la chambre a 150 € est a evitee car manifestement ce prix ne s applique pas a toutes les chambres.. Et en l occurence est specifique au moins bonnes... Dommage car emplacement de 1 ier ordre et piscine tres agreable a recommande mais en payant le prix fort pour avoir une bonne chambre

Un bijou que cette demeure historique toscane ; nous y avions déjà séjourné il y a quelques années et y sommes retournés avec le même bonheur !! Un petit sourire le matin au service du petit déjeuner peut-être mais c'est bien la seule chose que nous trouverions à réclamer !

Beeldschone renaissancevilla met smaakvolle inrichting, veel ruimte, mooie centrale locatie in heuvels, heerlijke bedden, zeer vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk voedsel (specialiteiten). Zelfs met kinderen ondanks het hoge niveau een fijne plek, mede dankzij het zwembad met uitzicht over de velden.

Zeer karakteristieke Italiaanse Villa met alle moderne faciliteiten 1 x diner bijgewoond en vond dat matig. Ook ontbijt is Italiaans en dus sober.
