The meeting room is situated in the wine cellar; a spacious, vaulted room, and can be used for small conventions of up to 40 people. The videoconference system makes it possible to attend a meeting from one’s office computer or from any place where Internet access is available. The room is equipped with: a video projector and broadband Wireless Internet access. Just connect your laptop computer and you will be able to begin your presentation. Small buffets and delicious, light lunches can be prepared, on request, for the participants.

A rich, Tuscan breakfast of fresh ricotta cheese, jams, honey, prosciutto supplied by nearby farms, apple cinnamon cake, fruit tart and home-made quiche is served daily.

On request, light lunches are served during the summer months in the ancient olive oil store room overlooking the pool. Enjoy a selection of Tuscan cold cuts and cheese from the farm, as well as summer salads followed by home-made Iced Soufflés for desert.

After a day spent sightseeing, relax over a warm buffet meal of traditional Tuscan food with recipes that use local produce in season. The buffet dinners are available daily from May to October.

The hotel offers 8 Double Standard Rooms, 8 Double Superior Rooms and 8 Junior Suites. All rooms are equipped with; private bathroom; air conditioning; minibar; telephone; tea and coffee-making facilities; satellite colour TV, Wi-Fi internet connection and; a safe.

Each room has its own unique character. The walls are painted in soft pastels made from natural pigment and the fabrics used for curtains and canopies come from small Tuscan artisan workshops.

Beyond the centuries-old cypresses around Villa il Poggiale, Colle Argiano overlooks the beautiful vineyards of Chianti Gallo Nero from its privileged position. By strolling through the small tracks stretched on the gentle hills, you can reach the undamaged old villages of Greve, Gaiole and Panzano in just a few minutes.

The Palio of Siena:
This procession with banners through the different neighbourhoods, followed by the race in the splendid Piazza del Campo, is a breathtaking spectacle. The atmosphere during the days preceding the famous race is uniquely electrifying. Dinner set out on tables in the streets, the benediction of the horses in their various parishes, the music, the costumes which date back to Middle Ages, are experiences you will never forget. Il Poggiale is only 40 minutes from Siena, and tickets for the Palio and for the supper afterwards in the various neighbourhoods can be obtained through the hotel itself.

The Olive Harvest:
Wine and olive-oil are the two hallmarks of Tuscany. You can take part in the gathering of the olives and in their pressing in the ancient olive presses. As the new oil drips into the vats, you can taste the original Tuscan extra-virgin olive-oil at the source, smeared onto a slice of warm toasted Tuscan bread.

Wine Tasting in the heart of the Chianti area:
In the lovely Medieval village of Badia a Passignano, wine tasting sessions are available in the historical wine cellars owned by the Antinori Marquises. Beside the wine cellar, there is an elegant high-quality restaurant also owned by the Antinori family. It is also possible to arrange wine tasting sessions in some of the best wine farms in the Chianti area.
