Villa Kinzica  

The peace of this lovely hotel in its own grounds, the comfortable room, the excellent breakfast, and the gourmet dinners which were not much more expensive than similar restaurants in Italy.

Although the hotel is in its own grounds it is close to a road and there can be traffic noise when sitting outside , but the room was well soundproofed from outside traffic. More freely available information on local amenities such as bus, ferry and train timetables, and places of interest would have been useful . Although there is public transport nearby a car was a big advantage in this small lakeside location.

The hotel was extremely comfortable and the welcome from the staff was very warm. All members of the staff were helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was plentiful and good. It is well located for the ferry across to the island which is worth a visit especially if you like walking.

It is a shame that the restaurant attached to the hotel is run as a completely different enterprise. For a 4 star hotel one would have expected there to be room service for food (we would have liked to have had a snack supper in our room on one of the evenings but this was not obviously available). The restauant is quite expensive and as we had used public transport to reach the hotel we were rather limited in finding places to eat (absolutely necessary as the restauant is closed on Sunday and Monday evenings). Luckily there is a very good value restaurant/pizzeria a 5 minute walk past the cemetary that we can highly recommend.

The Villa Kinzica was wonderful in a beautiful location. The most important was how wonderful the staff are and the owner. Would recommend the Villa Kinzica to people.

An excellent stay and very enjoyable, made even better by the attentive and professional staff. They helped in lots of ways out of their normal duties and made our stay their priority. This is not often seen even in the high end hotels we have stayed in and makes it easy to recommend this hotel above them. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and was perfect for what we wanted, in this case a relaxing resting place whilst we attended the Monza f1 gp. After the race we chilled out and this hotel really made our stay memorable in all the nicest ways. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Uiterst vriendelijk personeel, goede parking, fijne locatie

L'albergo è proprio sulla riva del lago, in un piccolo paesino, ma comodo alla visita di Montisola e alla visita di tutto il lago. Lo staff è sempre disponibile e con il sorriso...cosa veramente eccezionale!la camera era grande e anche se non dava sul lago(per risparmiare abbiamo scelto la vista sul parco), la vista era ottima. La colazione è molto ricca e varia. Consiglio anche il ristorante...con la mezza pensione a 30 euro si mangia davvero benissimo!
