Villa La Palagina  

perfect hotel with a good food.

Everything. There was not one thing that I didn't like about it. Ok......the room is a little small for what I am use to but..........who the heck cares. We honestly were only in the room to sleep and bath. I would go back tomorrow if I could. This place is amazing.

Beautiful location and set on a hill overlooking part of Chianti Valley. Historical charm of the building mixed with relatively modern amenities.

Is a little isolated from other towns so tendency is to have dinner at the Hotel which is more pricy than elsewhere. Do not sleep on the sofa bed - you will be aching for the entire next day.

We loved villa la palagina, it was so luxurious!! We were upgraded to a junior suite which had a gorgeous spa bath and lots of room for the 2 of us. Eric and all the staff were so helpful and very friendly. Eric helped book a car from the resort.as we had arrived by train and had hoped to get a scooter to get around, but being end of season everything was closed. He also suggested going to Lucca for a night which was so beautiful.. The food was also very good at the restaraunt and breakfast was wonderful too., Thanks to all for a beautiful week.

The grounds were beautiful.

the view is good, a good place to take relax. Besides, it is just 25 min away from The mall...

Good food,vine and service. Two nice swimming pools with a beautiful view of the countryside.

Thursday evening entertainment was loud and misplaced.

Very nice staff, very good location: close to the small town Figline Valdarne, but the hotel itself is isolated from the town and very nice country views are around the hotel. The hotel's park with cleanest air and romantic atmosphere inside the hotel.

The breakfast was a little poor and monotony.

Prachtige locatie, vriendelijke service, heerlijk restaurant, gezellige kamers, constante kwaliteit. Kortom: een plek om terug te komen!

Excellente situation pour pouvoir visiter de 15 à moins de 100 km un très grand nombre de sites réputés en Toscane, en voiture ou par le train. Hébergement 3* de qualité et restauration excellente dans un environnement calme et reposant avec une vue splendide sur les collines de vignes et d'oliviers. Deux très belles piscines entourées de terrasses où il fait bon se détendre. Des produits régionaux au petit déjeuner serait un plus bien apprécié (miel, confiture, charcuterie, fromages etc...)

Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte in questa stupenda villa completamente ristrutturata al termine del nostro tour in Chianti. La struttura è molto bella, disposta su una piccola collinetta che sovrasta uliveti e vigneti. E' dotata di parcheggio proprio gratuito, di due piscine con vista sulla villa e sulle colline toscane. Al ns arrivo ci sono state fornite info sulla struttura, sulle attrazioni nelle vicinanze e siamo stati gentilmente accompagnati in camera. Ci è stata assegnata una piccola suite, spaziosissima e ben curata, l'unica con balconcino con magnifica vista sul giardino e sulle colline. La camera era dotata di tv lcd con sky, frigobar, telefono, letto a baldacchino, un piccolo angolo salotto, un disimpegno all'ingresso ed un bel bagno luminoso e pulito con vasca. Presente anche un kit di bellezza e phon a parete. La colazione viene servita nel ristorante della villa, discreta ma nulla di entusiasmante. Alcune pietanze come uova strapazzate e spremuta d'arance sono a pagamento. Il prezzo fuori stagione è ultra conveniente, abbiamo pagato 73€ camera matrimoniale con colazione.

Unico dettaglio "negativo" ma che non va ad alterare la qualità della struttura sono l'accesso a questa che avviene attraverso una strada sterrata di circa 1 - 2 Km. Tenete infine presente che è abbastanza vicina all'autostrada circa 10Km ma un pò distante dalle cittadine del Chianti (Greve dista circa 20Km)

Sicuramente la vista spettacolare dalla camera 24..

Mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio come servizio a colazione e tempi troppo lunghi nel servizio ristorante.
