perfect hotel with a good food.

Everything. There was not one thing that I didn't like about it. Ok......the room is a little small for what I am use to but..........who the heck cares. We honestly were only in the room to sleep and bath. I would go back tomorrow if I could. This place is amazing.

An excellent location and a beautiful house with many original features and lovely finishing touches. If you are a person who likes to imagine what a place might have been like in bygone times, this is the place for you. Looking out over the olive groves and vines, it is easy to imagine its former slendour as a major Villa in the area. That said, of course all the facilites have been updated and we saw evidence of locals using the Villa for special occasions, a testament to its overall quality. Clientelle are international.

Visitors would do well to have their own transportation and this isn't made clear or suggested when booking. Train links from Figline are excellent to other major cities - however from Figline to the Villa is quite a way and the bus service is virtually non existant. The Villa does not provide a complimentary car service. We were able to book a taxi for trips to and from the train station, but this could be cost prohibitive for some people.

We loved villa la palagina, it was so luxurious!! We were upgraded to a junior suite which had a gorgeous spa bath and lots of room for the 2 of us. Eric and all the staff were so helpful and very friendly. Eric helped book a car from the resort.as we had arrived by train and had hoped to get a scooter to get around, but being end of season everything was closed. He also suggested going to Lucca for a night which was so beautiful.. The food was also very good at the restaraunt and breakfast was wonderful too., Thanks to all for a beautiful week.

The hotel had so many flowers. It was relaxing in the country. The dinner was outside and it was fantastic!! Great food, great wine, great staff, good price - however small portions - when the food is good you want to eat a little bit more. The bed was the best mattress that we slept on in all of Italy - we stayed at 5 different hotels. The staff treated us very well. They went above and beyond. There was a wedding there while we were there...that was fun...we had live music during our dinner. They even gave us a gift for my husband's birthday. Very nice. Only complaint - it was very loud in the hotel and we did not get much sleep.

Die gute Lage abseits dem Rummel in einer unbeschreiblich schönen Natur. Feines Essen, guter Wein, freundliche Bedienung in einem altehrwürdigen Haus mit gutem Komfort.

Великолепное место. Чистейший воздух, прекрасные виды Тосканы.

La bellezza del luogo e della struttura

Forse bisognerebbe prevedere la possibilità di pasti anche a prezzi più bassi (magari con una sorta di brasserie...)

Personale gentilissimo e cordiale, villa bellissima immersa nel verde, vista stupenda nonostante il maltempo, ristorannte dell'albergo molto carino e di ottima qualità.

Isolamento acustico un pò carente nella camera. La porta della camera essendo una vecchia porta in legno, non chiudeva benissimo.

Sehr stimmungsvolle Villa mit zuvorkommendem Personal. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis im April 2012. Sehr schöne Lage. Alles bestens.

Es war leider etwas kalt (nicht geheizt)

Je reviendrais et je vais le communiquer autour de moi, professionnellement et personnellement . J ai beaucoup voyager , mais la c est """la perle toscane""; Si certains se plaignent, alors qu ils restent at home!!!!!!!!!!!.
