I loved everything about this place - the elegance, the kindness, the food, and even the large "standard" room. Will be back very soon. |

This place is ideally situated in the Chianti region, the views are stunning both in the morning and evening. With a restaurant on site, we thought that it would be a struggle to eat there two nights in a row, but were amazed with the menu and worked out it would take at least 4 nights to get through the menu. |

Very quiet, beautiful location. Staff very friendly, restaurant expensive but excellent food- not a pizza in sight! The rough road as described by some reviewers is by no means rough- unmetalled yes, but certainly not rough. Besides where else can you happen across wild deer (twice) and wild boar (once)? We will be returning! We were left waiting too long when we checked in- about 10 minutes as the receptionist disappeared (to help someone else?). |

The scenic views and escape from the busy life. The staff was a bit smug and some members were more helpful than others. |

The location is just beautful, in the middle of the Wines and still close to the Firenze. The Villa itself is beautiful, the building we were staying in promised more online then what we found after arriving.. If you can live with broken Showerfixture, Refrigorator which falls appart when opening, this place is nice to stay with children. |

I love the setting of the hotel and the high quality decorations. It is structured but also extremely free. The location of the hotel is exactly what I imagined what Toscany countryside is like. It would be nice to have a coffee or tea making machine in the room. |

Location is excellent, lovely pools, surroundings etc. Nice restaurant for dinner. Room was not luxorious at all, just rather large (had a junior suite). Was the most expensive of all our hotels on our Tuscany trip but definitly the least comfortable and luxurious room. The jacuzzi sounded much nicer than it was, shaped like an ordinary bath tub and with black mould between it and the wall... Breakfast buffet was very ordinary (again, not luxurios, not what i expect for a hotel this price range). Found it strange and a bit cheap that cappuccino etc was not included, only instant coffee! Everewhere else we went, bóth B&B's and hotels hade nicer breakfasts than Palagina. Considering the prices, I cant recommend it, even though it does have lovely surroundings. The rooms just aren't nice enougt, at least not ours. |

The location is excellent overlooking the Chianti countryside. The 2 pools and facilities/rooms were excellent as were the food and service. I cannot really fault the set up at all. It would have been nice if there was a cheaper/simpler food option rather then the full restaurant facilities. We ate out locally one night but there are not too many local places to eat nearby. |

The location is beautiful in the Tuscany hills. I liked the 2 swimmingpools. We were upgraded to a superior room which was much bigger that a standerd room. This was great! The road to the hotel is sandy, bumpy and with little stones (about 800 metres). We had to drive very carefully not to damage the tires. This we didn't like! |

The view over the mountains of Chianti is fantastic. The hotel has 2 swimming pools (with view on the valley), lovely gardens, a very nice restaurant with local gastronomy and wines. Besides, the bedrooms are excellent, quite big, with jacuzzi offering all the comfort one can expect. |
