Close to Rome's Tiber River, Visconti Palace Hotel features designer rooms and is just a 2-minute walk from Castel Sant’Angelo. The restaurant with rooftop terrace overlooks the historic center.

We recently returned from a trip to Paris, Geneva and Rome, our stay here was perfect. The villa itself is beautiful, very well appointed. The staff was gracious and caring. Our room was upgraded to ensure I was comfortable at 6 4' tall, without asking. The restaurant is great we are breakfast two days and dinner one night, Luigi was excellent as was the sommelier. We will be back.
The villa and it's garden are beautiful. Breakfast is marvelous. Staff is very attentive and friendly. The location slightly off center is perfect: away from the tourist crowds but in walking distance of town center. Would go back anytime.
Our room had not such good air conditioning.
This place was fabulous!! Highlights were many, but here are a few: right next to Tiber River, where there is a riverwalk and restaurants/bars on the river; our own private courtyard; extremely courteous staff; bicycle rental; excellent wine selection; excellent Michelin-rated resataurant; reasonably priced; a litte off the beaten path but not too far off. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Like all European hotels, the bathroom, especially the shower, was a little small.
The staff, the comfort, the housekeeping, and the locale all coalesced in perfect lodging.
There's nothing I disliked.
Beautifully designed and furnished room in a beautiful villa in a calm area around the vatican but still only about a 10 minute walk to the metro station Lepanto and 20 minutes walk across the bridge gets you to Piazzo de Popolo. Lovely breakfast and wifi in the rooms.
Gorgeous hotel with beautiful rooms and a very romantic atmosphere! Very helpful staff.
A very simple breakfast considering the price.. and you have to pay extra if you want eggs or warm dishes (15 Euros for eggs).
Pretty decorations, friendly staff. Good food.
Breakfast was confusing. Somewhat frustrating to have the toaster not plugged in, always asking for milk for cereal. Bicycles for hire had problems with the tyres and seats.
A perfect boutique hotel.
Location for walking to all locations is great, Restaurant good, pretty Villa,
Over priced. Also worse Got Locked in the morning we were trying to leave for airport 6:30 AM.Need key to leave doors to exit building before 7AM ,None worked ! We had to leave by the one window we could open ,and jump out with suitcases. Crazy, what if there was a fire you are locked in from 11PM-7AM with no staff in building!
Excellent, exquisite hotel in classic roman villa with designer style rooms. Owned by Fendy, filled with original designer drawings. Stayed in crystal room with terrace overlooking garden. Top! Hotel comes with Michelin star restaurant. First class buffet style breakfast, wide selection of fresh fruit, Pastries, marmalade, Fresh juices , cheese, ham, procuito and many more. Just outside of busy (hectic) city center. Good restaurants in neigboorhood. Relatively closeby Metro&Bus. Near to Tiber river, with bicicle road of pedriastrian path towards Palazzo di Giustizia and Castel Sant'Angelo towards Vatican. Vatican only 2 metro stops away, Spanish Steps 10 mins walk.
I don't have enough time to explain how unbelievably incredible it was. The staff, all of them, every single one, was ---how should I say this---freakin' awesome and the best of them is Paul. I think his position is director but whatever it is---believe me, if you ever go there and need any assistance of any kind.....He will not only bend over backwards but will jump through hoops, climb a mountain, wrestle a hungry jaguar----whatever it takes, he will do. I just do not have enough kind words or the vocabulary to express how wonderful he and the staff are. I cannot say enough. Off the charts wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If there had been something, it was completely erased by the magnificence of Paul and his crew or employees. Oh, if everywhere I went there were people to assist that are as wonderful as those at Villa Laetitia.
Loved the decor of the room, the daily free breakfast, helpful staff.
Ants in my room, a blouse was taken by housekeeping, then miraculously found, far from most sightseeing.
We especially liked the staff, the helped us reach destinations by bus like the Fontanone. Breakfast was lovely. The room was fun, individual, and had everything we wanted. The restaurant was superb.
We didn't have time to take a bikeride with the bicycles provided.
Villa Laetitia is located in the Prati district of Rome. It is a 10 minute walk to the Piazza di Spagna and the tourist area - that is exactly why we liked it - quiet, with discrete elegance. The staff is fantastic, as is the ambiance.
Loved it all, especially our small garden terrace and fitted kitchen.
Everything, what a brilliant Hotel and offering. We'll recommend to all of our friends who stay in Rome.
The variety of breakfast breads (not sweet) and very good coffee. Queit blocks giving a secure feeling while walking from downtown to the hotel. The underground station Lepanto is within walking distance. We can really recommend this hotel.
Change too frequently of towels, a more environmental approach is appreciated. Too much sweet cakes etc offered at breakfast, maybe this is the continental style but not for us. We also missed boiled eggs.
Good breakfast. Excellent michelin-starred restaurant. Very unuaual rooms.
Villa Laetizia is a lovely hotel in the Prati section of Rome. A nice place to stay if you are looking for a little quiet from the bustle of the city. Room was not large but adequate and had a nice little kitchenette for longer stays. Lovely neighborhood close to the Vatican. Michelin starred restaurant.
Can be difficult to find open restaurants, etc on Sundays since the area doesn't cater to tourists. Must travel a bit to get to other sites in Rome.
Amazing city hotel
Great location and design, each room had a different theme
Majority of staff pretend that speak English, unacceptable humidity in rooms, on website mentioned spa and sauna but it doesn't work , TV and net do nor work in the gym, TV doesn't work in some rooms. Rooms are clean but gardens are really dirty, especially Garden Room, staff not friendly and not willing to solve the problems. Poor breakfast. Reception doesn't work at night and we had a huge problem to check out and arrange for the payment at 6 am.... In total could say that it is a low standard hotel with poor service, wouldn't recommend to others.
Beautiful design and friendly staff, nice little kitchenette to make your own food if you have time and lovely terraces. Nice dressing gowns and exceptional surroundings.
Reception closes at 11pm. No room service - it's not that kind of place. No herbal teas or milk provided so take your own. It isn't in the centre of Rome - there's a very residential feel to the area and around a 20 minute walk to the bustle. The toiletries in the bathroom aren't very good, so make sure you take your own shower gel, conditioner etc.
Unique Boutique hotel , very well decorated , staff incredibly helpful
it was fine for us but its a leisurely 15 minute walk to Piazza del Popolo and the start of main area of town for site seeing and eating
The Mozzies and the fact it was said to have a spa, but nothing.
