Villa Las Tronas, once a Royal retreat, is today a luxury hotel just a few steps from the centre of the delightful town of Alghero.

The impressive villa is set on a headland overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Alghero. It is surrounded by lush private gardens which separates it from the chaotic town centre. The panoramic restaurant is an excellent choice to sample some Sardinian specialities whilst admiring the magnificent views.

Villa Las Tronas features unique guest rooms with classic style and luxury antiques. The intimate bar is a great place to relax with a drink after a day sunbathing or practicing your favourite sport.

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.

All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.

Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Deposit

30 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

The position of the hotel

The hotel is very good situated , not in the city senter but close by in a very quaiet area . It has a very good location by the sea with spectacular view from every side . Evan if is sorunded by rocks you have easy access to the seaside .

The room were not so clean and the furniture evan if it was old style and beutiful it wasnt so well mantained .Most of the hotels in this part of sardenia are not so good so this is the best choice you can have , there arent any better anywhere close by .

The peaceful location and ambiance was wonderful yet the hotel was within walking distance of the old town of Alghero. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was wonderful. The terrace/balcony in our room worth the extra euros.

Friendly staff.Excellent dining facilities.Due to its location the hotel is very suitable to unwind from your day-to-day hassle.

The charming location, and the welcome.The dinner with the lovely see view. The easy access to Alghero old town on foot.

Mysteriously one of the days (the first out of four) it was a bit noisy. Strange since afterwards it did not happen again. Noisy bunch of guests?

I enjoyed my stay here. Was upgraded to a nice suite which had separate living area and 2nd bathroom. Lovely sea view. Food in reastaurant was very nice.

Some of the receptionists levels of English was quite poor, they did their best but it was sometimes a struggle to communciate. Also TV's in rooms are very small and placed too low, so that you cannot see it whilst lying in bed. Shower in suite was tiny, and other one had shower in bath with Curtain, that is not really 5 star. Also drinks in bar are very expensive. 2 x Diet Coke was €9. Rip-off!
