Thoroughly renovated, the hotel is now an inviting and intimate establishment yet maintaining the character of a private house. The swimming pool, tennis court and terraces are set among enchanting rose gardens, with views on the surrounding countryside, featuring olive groves and Chianti Classico vineyards. We selected this hotel due to the place, area and the historic buildings. A nice garden and swimmingpool with area for relaxing with no other noice than from our self.

Situated on a hillside with vineyards and lovely grounds with pool, tennis courts but near to Panzano and Greve. Our room was situated in one of the out buildings behind the Villa - clean, comfortable,and cool in the heat of mid September. We spent lots of time sitting outside on the patio area under an umbrella. Breakfast was served on the patio below the Villa and offered many good choices - a typical Italian buffet breakfast. Also the restaurant has the best antipasti choices that we encountered in the 3 weeks of eating in Italy!! I think and second comfortable chair in the room would be appreciated in case the weather is poor. I am aware that the room is small so it might not be feasible.

Hotel muito charmoso, decorado com muito gosto. Informações sobre passeios e roteiros já disponíveis no quarto. O jantar foi delicioso, com cardápio da região. Os queijos, maravilhosos! O vinho idem. O café da manhã também era muito bom, servido em mesas ao ar livre, muito agradável. O único porém é que não havia mais "croissaints" às 9 da manhã. Fora isso, excelente!

Ruhiger, gepflegter Ort. Richtig um dem Alltag für ein paar Tage zu entfliehen. Aufmerksame und hilfreiche Betreuung der Gäste durch das Eignerpaar. Wunderschöner Ort im Herz der Chianti Region.

attractive village and setting in general. Good as a base for walking in the countryside, with the hotel helping to arrange and advise on walking routes. tennis, splash pool, table tennis all available. our room was a converted cellar so dark and miserable. The hotel's restaurant seemed tired, uninspired, with an extremely small choice of dishes and very over-priced dinner. As the hotel is in the middle of the countryside, the guests are somewhat captive diners there.

Muy buena decoración y ambientación. Localizado en el centro de la región de Chianti. Ayudan en la localización de bodegas a visitar. No tiene servicios de un 4 estrellas ni en relación al precio que cobran. El desayuno es correcto, pero no excelente. Pedimos bacon y nos cobraron 7 Euros extra. Está muy orientado a clientes americanos que alucinan con la decoración y el ambiente, que estan realmente cuidados, muy "casa rural toscana de lujo". No creo que esto impresione mucho a clientes españoles, franceses o italianos.
