The hotel has two main attractions; the view from the swimming pool area, looking over Florence and the surrounding countryside, and the pool itself, which has a wonderfully deep 5m diving board end. The pool area also has excellent staff with a bar serving very good, healthy snacks. For us, this area made the hotel a joyful experience. The hotel building itself would be disappointing if not for the pool area. The hotelier was terse, uninviting and actually insulting in regards to our mode of transport. The room was in need of modernisation and we had people sleeping on sofa's outside our room snoring very loudly. The restaurant was exceptionally expensive with untrained staff and mediocre food. The hotel was not particularly good value for money on the whole either.

The view Wrongly described as having a Gourmet restaurant - some of the very worst food I have had in Italy . The olive oil on the table was not the product sold in reception as local but some pale yellow oil that tasted industrial.The room was Spartan to say the least with holes in the towels and thin pillows. I will never stay again.

We stayed for 5 nights in June 2011 and it was lovely. Staff were very helpful, beautiful location and great facilities. The views are amazing and the pool is massive! It is an authentic italian hotel tucked away in the hills but a short 5 minute bus ride to the centre of Florence!! Would definitely go back again!

Good location just above Florence with views of the city. Easy bus access into Florence. We stayed in one of the manors on the property which had good parking for our motorcycles. The property is part of an olive orchard and is pleasant and quiet. The pool area has bar, with the bar tenders being nice eye candy for the ladies. Eye candy for the guys was at the very good restaurant on the premises. The location also provided relatively easy access to Mugello raceway; turn right at the hotel exit, drive about 30 km through Toscan countryside and you are there. Finding our room the first night in the dark proved difficult until I had someone take us there. Once we were settled in, no worries.

Very good helpful staff, always with a smile, and ready to help you with booking of tkts, tours, etc.Lovely to walk all over the estate with olive gardens etc Not really a negative point but the hotel (and more the grounds) needs a slight spruce up and it would be a really nice place to stay in, and they can charge even double then!

Nous avons aimé le cadre général car le domaine est très grand, il y a 22 hectares. Très belle vue sur Florence depuis l'hotel. L'entrée et la route qui mène a l'hotel sont très belles. Le domaine est mal entretenu, des herbes hautes (1 mètre) sur tout le domaine empêche de se promener. La piscine est grande mais les ; les serviettes payantes (bout de drap, pas de serviette éponge). Nous avons eu droit a un mariage pendant notre séjour ce qui nous a empêcherd e dormir car juste sous nos fenêtres! Après plusieurs plaintes auprès de la réception, ils ont baissé la musique. Aucun dédommagement financier n'a été fait, à peine de vagues excuses pour la gêne occasionnée. L'hotel est vieillot et des déambulateurs sont présents à l'accueil (ambiance hopital gériatrique...)Le petit déjeuner est très "light". Les chambres sont grandes, le confort très sommaire car beaucoup de mobiliers cassés ainsi que les carreaux dans la salle de bain et sur le sol de la chambre. C'est très veillot. Il n'y a pas non plus de navettes comme indiqué sur le site booking.com mais un bus (n°25) qui passe quand il a le temps! Les tarifs ne sont pas en adéquation avec le service proposé. Dommage! Car l'hotel possède un énorme potentiel non exploité!

Превосходный отель для романтического времяпровождения: отличные виды на Флоренцию и окрестности, огромный парк, в котором можно увидеть белок и зайцев, старинные виллы с классическими, "барскими" интерьерами, дружелюбный персонал. Даже в январе там очень хорошо, ибо природа располагает:)... Для бизнесменов не очень подходит (я приезжал на Pitti Uomo), так как находится достаточно далеко от центра Флоренции, добираться по ночам приходилось на такси (лучший транспорт - городской автобус), хотя автобусы ходят до 1 ночи, так что если приезжать часов в 10, до нормально. В силу того, что отель старый, номера оборудованы устаревшими телевизорами, и системой кондиционирования. Пожалуй это основные "неудобства".

Per noi era importante la posizione dell'albergo: non troppo in centro, in un posto calmo e bellissimo sulle colline e nello stesso tempo non lontano dal centro storico e la zona museale. Da questo punto di vista Villa le Rondini è un posto ideale. Si raggiunge facilmente sia in macchina che in autobus in 10-15 minuti. L'ambiente del hotel è molto particolare e affascinante, mi sentivo di essere in un una casa di fine novecento. Posso immaginare come si sta quà d'estate (noi siamo stati in dicembre). Con piscina, campo da tennis e il parco extremamente grande si può stare fuori tutta la giornata e se uno è stanco del traffico della cità, stare in natura in un ambiente irripetibile è davvero un godimento. L'altro aspetto da menzionare senza dubbi è il ristorante. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Abbiamo ordinato pasta ai funghi porcini e filetto al rosso del Chianti con pure' di sedano rapa, la carne era morbita e cotta giusta. Pensiamo di tornarci questo estate. La struttura forse dovrebbe essere rinnovata, ma l'ambiente è così accogliente che non si fa il caso.

Prachtige locatie, 1 ster waard. Overige 3 sterren verkregen in 1990 kunnen weer ingeleverd worden. Slechte service, vieze badkamer en erg verwaarloosd!!

De ligging van het hotel is uitstekend. FLoranc is zowel met de auto als met openbaar vervoer goed te bereiken. Het hotel heeft in 1993 4 sterren gekregen. sinds die tijd is er geen onderhoud meer gepleegd aan het hotel. Dit hotel is zijn 4 sterren zeker niet waard. Gezien de ligging zou het misschien nog twee sterren waard zijn. Het is erg vies, veel stofnesten en de bar, die is misschien in geen 2 jaar schoongemaakt. Er zat schimmel onder het koffieapparaat. Zoals u begrijpt, hebben wij dan ook niet in dit hotel gedineerd... Zeer slechte ervaring, en de gastvrijheid.... die was er ook niet.

Le parc, la piscine, la chambre spacieuse, la terasse, la vue sur Florence depuis la piscine : exactement ce que nous recherchions pour un deuxième séjour à Florence. Sur les hauteurs de Florence, à moins de 5 km du centre ville ! Petit déj sous la tonnelle avec vue sur Florence ! Possibilité de libérer la chambre à 12h00, et de profiter de la piscine au-delà de 12h00 le jour du départ. La forte odeur de chat dans les parties communes. Déco vieillotte. Potentiel énorme mais sous-exploité. Tennis payant (15 euros/heure).

Helaas, helaas, een hotel waar al jaren geen onderhoud aan gebouw, tuin en zwembad wordt gedaan. Vergane glorie, zeg maar: het nieuwe is er al zo'n 20 jaar vanaf. Zwembad zwaar verouderd en ronduit gevaarlijk, o.a. door chemicalien die in grote hoeveelheid open en bloot staan en door een verroeste duikplank met zeer scherpe kanten. Uitzicht op Firenze is nog steeds, met wat moeite, mogelijk ondanks verwaarloozde tuin. Kamer is ruim, alleen de keukengeluiden en geuren zijn niet aangenaam in de kamer waar wij zaten. Ruimte in de kamer is goed, properheid is redelijk. WiFi alleen op bepaalde plaats bij receptie, onbeveiligd, maar wel gratis. De nabijheid van Firenze maakt een hoop goed, maar jammer dat dit hotel, met zoveel potentie, zo slecht gemanaged is.

La ubicacion en las colinas de Florencia, sus caminos llenos de arboles, la piscina con vistas a la ciudad. Es un hotel muy romántico con un aire nostálgico a épocas pasadas muy gloriosas con recuerdos como el helipuerto lleno de malezas. El jardín lo tienen muy descuidado, casi no se ven las espectaculares vistas de Florencia por falta de poda. El desayuno es muy escaso.

Sehr gute Busverbindung zur Innenstadt von Florenz. Ruhige Lage mit Park ums Hotel. Zimmer gefällig eingerichtet, Sauberkeit hervorragend. Für italienische Verhältnisse überdurchschnittliches Frühstück. Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Restaurant. Personal von sehr unterschiedlicher Freundlichkeit: Rezeption sehr hilfsbereit und nett; Zimmerpersonal schnell und ordentlich; dagegen wirken Hausherrin trotz exzellenter Sprachkenntnisse und der Restaurantkellner nicht einladend und freundlich.
