- staff - view to the castle
Everything:-) , beautiful views and accommodations.. breakfast with homemade sweets..yummy:-)
We had a great stay at Villa Lieta, the owner Anna and her staff are very warm and helpful persons, not only at the B&B but also in tips on what to see, eat or do on the island. The room was excellent and clean and the view at the roof terrace were breakfast is served is beautiful. the location is perfect in the old town and very easy to reach by bus (line 7, castello aragonese)
Having stayed before we knew the area and the hosts well enough to realise that there is no where else as good as Anna & Roger's B&B in Ischia Pont. Although a month further on from when we stayed last time it was still lovely to have breakfast upstairs on the roof in the sunshine. the yellow bedroom we had was very spacious and faced the road rather than the Med which the Blue room does. With the excellent windows we were able to block out the noise from the street. Fantastic restaurants very close (within walking distance). We had a very relaxing time in one of the best B&B we have every stayed in.
We were not able to stay longer due to work.
Everything about this place is brilliant. Hidden away, it reveals many secrets mainly the room and the breakfast. The welcome was second to none and Anna and Rosa were fantastic.
Not much really.
Location is beautiful! Breakfast was very nice (though be aware that it is the typical carb, caffeine Italian breakfast - no protein). Owner's mother made a lovely almond chocolate cake. Room was very clean, comfortable, and had its own AC unit.
Best holiday of my life!
Didn't stay for longer!
Anna knows everything about Ischia and gave us all the best places to be. The blue room was perfect.
A bit noisy in the morning
Beautiful location beside the castle and coast.Anna is an excellent host ready with lots of useful recommendations and information.
The staff were lovely and so were the facilities, the room, the breakfast etc.
BUT if your room is not facing the sea (and only two rooms are) you are right above a road with bars, restaurants, cars and scooters. Impossible to sleep without earplugs, and even just having the windows open was very disrupting.
We were just recently there and had a wonderful stay at Vila Lieta. Our room was a dream and the staff was very nice and helpful. We were lucky to get a room with a balcony which overlooked the sea... so pretty and relaxing. Plus, they had one of the best breakfasts I have had at a B&B- on the rooftop with great care and great coffee :)
I would like to break my review down into two sections: the hostess and the hotel, as my impressions of the two were not the same. High marks to the hostess, "just OK" marks to the hotel. First of all the hostess/owner, Anna, is really lovely. She gave us a very warm welcome and lots of great recommendations for what to see on the island. She made our stay very enjoyable, and even serves homemade tiramisu at breakfast - what a treat! The B and B itself was nice enough. It's located in Ischia Ponte, just next to the castle. We had a lovely double room facing the street. The double glazed windows limited street noise, and the air conditioning worked well.
I was, however, disappointed by a few things... The wifi was intermittent and extremely weak. Our bathroom sink did not drain properly. Our sheets and towels were never changed in our 4 night stay. We finally asked for fresh towels, and wouldn't have gotten any if we had not. Overall, everything was fine, but for the price, I would have expected more. If these kind of little things annoy you, I would recommend staying somewhere else. I might stay again, but only because Anna was so lovely.
Anna and her colleague were absolutely lovely - full of great recommendations and suggestions, friendly and professional. The location was perfect, with a gorgeous view (ocean and castle... it doesn't get any better than that!) from the terrace and several good restaurants just steps away. Everything was spotlessly clean and felt very welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast! I loved having a selection of pastries, fruit, and yogurt with muesli along with juice and a cappuccino to start off the morning.
I have no complaints. Everything was wonderful :)
I loved the location and the quality! Anna and Rosa were SO amazingly nice and welcoming during my entire stay! I highly recommend Villa Lieta!
Anna, the host Location
We had a wonderful experience staying at Villa Lieta. It is as beautiful and charming as the pictures present. Anna was a great host and was very helpful as we made our plans to explore the island. She reached out to us before the trip to make sure we all was well and that we had proper directions for getting to the island and to the villa. We stayed in the suite. It is on the rooftop terrace. Fantastic! The was my first time using Booking.com and I was very pleased with the experience.
Some people might find the walk up three flights of stairs challenging, but I found the view was worth it.
Staff very nice and helpfull.
_ extremely kind, friendly staff with great hospitality _ fantastic ocean view from the room & the breakfast place
Anne was a wonderful host. She was warm and helpful. She provided very useful information about places to eat and visit. Villa Lieta is a charming and beautiful B&B. It is very well-located, just steps away from the Castello Aragonese. The area is full of fantastic restaurants, but at the same time it is not noisy. In the morning, breakfast is served on the rooftop. The view is incomparable, and the spread is generous. I would be happy to return and stay for weeks!
Nice view from the Villa Lieta, just in front of shore.
The localization. Amaazing views during the breakfast. The suite is mandatory!!!
We like the welcome and the terrasse for breakfast and the location
Some noise in the street at night
Staff was very attentive and helpful.
Stairs to get up might be tough for an elderly couple.
The place and rooms are cozy and fairly big, with vintage wooden furniture and nice decoration. The common area (hall aka living/dining room) has also good furniture, the terrace is sunny and both provide simply fantastic view to the sea. Owners are serving guests by themselves for check-in and breakfast (at latter you will get may be the best brioche served in the South Italy), and are very friendly and professional. We had bad experience with booking (wrong translation to Russian caused the mistake in the booked room, so we got the room without expected sea view), so Anna surprised us with nice sweet compliment in the restaurant we were having lunch at. The location is very convenient for surfing around the city and nice dinner at the sea side with fabulous view on the Castle, that is just in few hundred meters far.
The room facing the street is pretty noisy in the morning; as well as has smelly bathroom. It is also a bit expensive for the room without sea view on the tiny island, in fact surrounded by the sea. Access to the best terme is not really convenient from this side of the island, you will need to take a bus.
Anna is fantastic, although she wasn't there in personal when we arrived (;ate arrival), she sent us mails and sms with instructions, so we felt really welcome. We had the suite at the roof, superb views. Breakfast at the rooftop looking at the castle.
the bed was really hard.
