The Bellavista Francischiello offers unique, panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and Capri. In the countryside between Massa Lubrense and Sorrento, it features a rooftop pool.
Score from 423 reviews Very good
Right across from Sorrento Harbour, the Marina Piccola 73 is just 215 yards from Sorrento’s main square Piazza Tasso. The rooms are elegant and decorated with pastel colors. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Score from 371 reviews Wonderful
Hotel Rivage is in a panoramic position in the center of Sorrento, overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The port and the station are just a short walk away.
Score from 503 reviews Good
Back to Sorrento offers accommodation in a historic 17th century palazzo in Sant'Agnello, 2.5 km from Sorrento and a 17-minute drive from Vico Equense. It features free WiFi.
Score from 54 reviews Wonderful
The location, if you want something away from the hustle of Sorrento town then this is perfect plus the beach, bars and resteraunts are only a short walk away. Value was excellent, with good rooms, amazing views and everything you need including a great pool. Staff were very helpful on our visit
When i say short walk to the beach, the hotel is on the cliff side so it is a steep walk plus if you are down that area in the eve its very dark getting back up. Location is amazing however if you do head into Sorrento town be warned public transport is not the greatest. Buses are the cheapest option €2 return but unreliable especially at night and a taxi will cost approx €25 one way.
Hotel has a excellent scenery.
I stayed in the bungalow, I felt completely sleep outdoors.
Location is fantastic. View and very pieceful. Staff is helpful. This place is too good for just an overnight stay.
Did not have WiFi. We stayed at the bungalows and it was not clean. Shaving leftovers in the bathroom and dead insects in the bedroom.
Amazing views of bay of naples and Mt. Vesuvius right from hotel room window, well kept pool w amazing views. Decent breakfast, as many cappuccinos as you want.Nice friendly people, willing to help and listen. Hotel is a 15 min bus ride to Sorrento. A separate fabulous restaurant is about 100 meters down the road from this hotel - even Pavarotti has been to this restaurant- also w amazing views and incredible food. There is a beach 10 mins walk down the hill but this hotel has the pool!! With views like this you don't need much else. Staff helped us organize a ferry cruise trip to both positano and capri (2 separate day trips) v reasonably priced pick up/drop off at hotel.
Shower had some mould in the corner. Shower needed some drano so that the drain would drain properly.
Loved the view, nice relaxing pool.
The rooms were extremely outdated. We were promised and payed for a triple room (which is a bigger room) but were given a regular size room without getting our money back.
The room with a view
Lack of any kind of service or assistance, no bar, no restaurant The awful breakfast and the terrible noise until 4am from the beach disco and the fun villa. The pool was unavailable on two day s for a wedding and a mum and kids party.
location, amazing view, really nice pool, beautiful garden..etc
- Italian type of breakfast, only sweet stuffs..plus some fruits.
We loved our room and the pool! We had an absolutely fabulous time in the pool with a stunning view. We loved the view and location and the friendly, helpful staff. We loved Gas! It was very easy to get in and out of Sorrento and we adored being at Villa Lubrense.
The internet is only available at the check in desks, roughly 50 yards from our room, and it was 5 euros a day. We would recommend the hotel looks into wifi internet for the guests. We also would have loved to spend more time in the pool, outside of the hours 10am-7pm. No real complaints though!
Enviroment is really nice. Beautyful view.
Have to pay for everything. ( wi-fi, sunbed, towel) Wi-Fi : it is just next to the reception. The pathway to the sea isn't too good.
Staff and family were very helpful and charming, and were also very helpful when we forgot our driving license and found us a friendly taxi driver who helped us to successfully hired a car in Sorrento using an emailed copy. The room with a sea view was very nice, clean and comfy bed, with large bathroom, and amazing balcony that overlooked the cliff and down to the beaches below. Good sunsets too. Coastal areas, especially Amalfi coast - absolutely stunning.
Extremely loud music and noise came from two separate premises down near the beach 3 nights a week, and continued until 3 or 4am. Even with the doors and windows shut, sleeping through this was impossible. We thought this was extremely anti-social. We found the Italian breakfast rather sparse, with very little to eat, although the hotel did try to keep us happy. This area of Italy is wildly over-populated + the tourists as well - everywhere was manic. Driving here must be as challenging as anywhere in the world - crazy.
Such a beautiful big villa, with amazing view. Every corner of this villa worth taking pictures, enjoying your time and feeling harmony inside.
It was bit hard to get to the beach, but we were joung and it was a training for us.
The bungalow: small, uncomfortable, fridge not working at arrival, took 1 day to get it going. Kitchen equipment very very very lacking, don't even make basic. Young staff very kind but incompetent/ senior staff unhelpful and incompetent. Just to get a bottle opener, staff was never to be found and owner was abrupt at first, then finally led us to one. Second day was supply was cut for several hours but nobody was giving any info or support. All in all disappointing to infuriating considering the potential of the location and facilities
The most beautiful view from our room! We were lucky with the weather and had an amazing view from our room! Loved the setting and all the gardens and lovely sitting chilling areas outside!
The breakfast was somehow poor. 2 croissants and jam, juice and coffee. I have had a better breakfast on my holiday, but that was only a tiny disappointment.
